I agree, this felt like 75% buildup, and im sure it could've worked if the story itself was longer, but that would probably bring more problems with making it go longer than it should. I think cutting down the buildup would make it a good bit better and a good short story

Honestly, this wasn't the worst thing I've ever heard, I can't believe it made you quit - I've heard way worse. And honestly, I kinda want to know what it was all building up to…like, I assume the end of the story is he beat the game perfectly and got the backstory for Chuck, and it was…spooky? I actually want to know now!

I kept waiting for the creepypasta to start…and it never did. It was just a guy talking about a game and his personal philosophies. This was not a creepypasta. This was a mediocre Reddit post.

I think the insinuation is that the protag's dad is the serial killer and he (somehow) specifically played that cartoon on the TV in his house for his daughter as like a confession? Or was planning to kill everyone but Sarah and found that tape by happenstance and decided to use it to confess? Not that that makes ANY sense, but I think that's what's being implied…

Anyone who DOESN'T keep a sticker over their laptop webcam by default is just asking for trouble, as far as I'm concerned.

This is a fantastic story and channel, thank you for uploading it. It reminds me of the Stephen McDougal murder. I wonder if it wasn't loosely based on that crime. Great listen, keep up the good work. From yours truly.

I remember the original of this being half-baked and cringe, and that I just generally didn't like it very much, but this was fairly decent, so…yeah, I'd say the "retake" is definitely an improvement. :)

Ah yes, the two basic ingredients for the most quintessential of all video game pastas: what happens to the characters you built a "relationship" with when you stop playing a game you used to love for a long time, and excessive gore in what should be a wholesome kids' game. This may be bad, but it's also as classic as it gets…ohhhh, my nostalgia for this kind of tripe runs deep… ^.^

The setup is weak, yes, and the premise is clichéd, but honestly, I would have liked it to be a full story - like, a full game, exploring just exactly what happened to the Mushroom Kingdom and following Mario on a quest for revenge. I mean, the author clearly had an idea here, but…I guess wimped out on going through with it? Maybe it wouldn't have been executed brilliantly, but I wish the author had taken the time and the risk to do it anyway - practice makes perfect, after all, and the idea was clearly there, I want to know what the idea was and see it fleshed out. Maybe, with some drafting, there could have even been a reason given for why it was happening? I mean, it doesn't NEED a reason, it's a video game creepypasta, there's some leniency here, but…just, generally, if it had just been allowed to cook a while longer, I really think this could have been some very tasty pasta, its greatest issue is that it's severely underdone, at least as far as I'm concerned.

I get the feeling that this author doesn't know much about Pokémon. Seeing you have a team by checking your ID? Chicorita and Bellossom in the wild? Pidgeot (and not Pidgey) appearing in the wild with Oddish and Doduo? Using Tackle on a ghost-type? Quilava and Chicorita existing at all in a gen-3 game, when the gen-3 starters exist and are frankly more popular? I do have a soft spot for Poképastas, but…they're better when they're written by actual Pokémon fans who know about Pokémon, not people who are just banking on the trend with no actual knowledge. You have to understand the thing you're adapting, at least to a certain degree, before you adapt it, otherwise you get stories like this where people with basic knowledge are just making perplexed faces repeatedly while reading/listening; the blatant, unaddressed inaccuracies shatter immersion. This DOES have the basic ingredients of a good (so to speak) old-fashioned Poképasta, and I could forgive the technical errors, but anyone reading a Poképasta would know enough about Pokémon to be bothered by the random nonsense. Good effort, but don't try adapting something you know nothing about, it doesn't work.

This story is a perfect example of great idea, terrible execution. The story feels like it was a first draft. All the ideas and scenes are there. But not any proper foreshadowing or build up. This one needed a couple more drafts and some proof reading.

I imagine an other Earth where it was this creepypasta who inspired the horror in Sonic fangames, and our Earth, it was Sonic.EXE... well too bad :') (I'm not saying Blue Drive is perfect, but compared to Sonic.EXE everything is better :') )

Fun fact. The bit were sonic crashes into the spikes was lifted from the Chinelin Sonic creepypasta. The REAL first Sonic creepypasta, predating El Pendrive Azul. Whilst it is an animation and not a story, it was the first most notable piece of creepy Sonic media posted online, and Sally.EXE basically ripped off the whole animation.

This one felt very much like it just, happened. Like, find old mario game, then spooky stuff happens for no real reason before it doesn't happen again. It just, comes and goes. The idea is there, but the story just asserts itself and sorts of, ends. Though if you have some sort of project you're working in, I would love to see it! Especially if that xenomorph thing is involved.

Still remember when SOG read this one. Not honestly sure what the author was going for? What did any of it even mean? It’s a lot less cliche than I remembered but it’s still just odd, at least to me.

I would like to point out that this isn't a retelling of "Abandoned by Disney," but a complete reboot of a story I wrote when I was 16 (under a different alias); "Disney: White Noise." This was very close to my initial vision for that story, but I sorta caved and made an edgy lost episode pasta for the original lmao

No way, I was listening to this and expected you to have like 1M-500k subscribers. You seriously deserve some. Also, I really like your story analysis at the end and think that the emergency broadcast was the most interesting part, the idea of being lead into what is essentially the maw of a beast is timeless.

I remember liking this one as a kid but oh boy hearing you reading it I did think wow this is bad! The author wrote multiple pokemon creepypastas I remember being a fan of theirs! There's lots of creepypastas clearly written by emo and edgy pokemon teens all of them are pretty funny almost
