We didn’t wire this home, Client reach out to us during the trim stages and wasn’t wired for doorbell. We tried adding one but he said he didn’t care for having one since to access his property you had to get through the gate… Once he moved in he wanted to add something at the door but didn’t want to cut walls to get a wire there. We always recommend at least a chime or a ds2 mini but You probably know how that goes. “Hey I know I told you no but……” 😂 Thanks for watching

I totally get how much of a pain it can be when things don’t work as they should. With smart homes, there are electronics involved, so some issues can pop up every now and then, but it shouldn’t be a regular thing. Sometimes it’s not even the control system itself-it could be things like settings, software updates, new devices added to your network, or even how the system was originally set up. The age of the system can also make a difference. If you’ve got a Control4 system installed within the last five years and it’s giving you constant trouble, I’d recommend writing down the issues and reaching out to another local Control4 integrator for a second opinion or a system check-up. @@empireavservices One problem is that when the power fails, everything has to be reset.

Adding an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) in the rack for your network and control system will keep that equipment from resetting when you have outages. You can also have them set static IP addresses for all of the equipment so you never have to reset it. (certain devices you have to manually power once if there’s a outage so we can get back on the network) Hope this helps

We will say that in that before 2018 or the EA series controllers the system needed a lot of improvements however in the last few years it has really elevated to an industry leader. they are growing their market presence every year, so they have to be doing something right. Not sure why your experience was so bad, but maybe it isn’t for everyone. Either way thanks for watching.

System was completed 4 months ago and 0 service calls so far. We got Lucky I guess 🤷‍♂️ Control4, crestón and savant are all the same at this point, difference is on how and who sets them up. Very curious to know what you sell now that’s so much better and never has service calls. 🤔 No dishonesty here, been in business for 10 years and our clients love us so we have to be doing something right. The system has an audio matrix for individual control per room so every room can play its own source. On the streaming and music options The control4 processor has audio outs. (Depending on the model you can have 1,3 or 5) so you can listen to as many different streaming stations as the controller installed. (To answer your question.. with the correct equipment and programming you can do whatever you want) 2. Yea you can add a NAS for music and storage. (There is a list of recommended but majority will work) 3.yes the system has OVRC so the entire system and all devices can be monitored for an app or web browser. Hope that helped. With Moip (media over IP) We can get real creative (different size, different directions and more) This project has a matrix so it can play the same game in each tv but not as a tv wall..
