It would be nice to have some grease on the wheel bearings, that's why you should pickup your towable log splitter with a trailer when you purchase one.

They forgot to mention that you need a forklift to pick that beam up.......

Overall it looks like a good wood splitter

Another feature I would like to see would be an extension of the wood catcher so it protects the engine from wood falling onto it. Some hard wood is explosif when it splits causing the wood to fly of the splitter. I would purchase this if it was available.

I just purchased this model and I had a problem that the dealer installed the hydraulic lines improperly. When in the vertical position the high pressure hoses had a loop the same as in this video and noticed that it puts a lot of strain an kinks the high pressure lines. I adjusted this and all is working properly now.

I bought one of these and I bought an extra log catcher but there’s only two holes do you need longer bolts when you attach to log catchers or the bolts that come with it will work because it has to go through two of them now?

Yeah, nothing like cross contaminating the fluids in your "official assembly" video. Frankly, I was shocked to see that this comment section is still open. Residual engine oil into the carburetor, then residual engine oil, and gasoline right into the hydraulic oil tank. And yes, I am well aware that these are ALL petroleum based fluids. But why add additional "x factor" variables into potential causes, should a failure in any one of these systems happen to occur? Aside from that, good video on the actual assembly. Thanks

Shouldn’t you use two different funnels keeping the gas and hydraulic fluid separate.

Nice to see you can pick up the tongue without breaking your back. Really tough to do on the Yardmax. The 9" wedge is great, but according to the Black Diamond owners manual, the 25 ton has 8", 30 ton has 8.5" and the 35 ton has a 9". What are the key differences between your Black Diamond, Performance Built and County Line log splitters?

I am about to pick up the 32ton model, and I can't wait to put it to use. I am hoping there is a four way wedge option to add on.
