Escaping Winter with the Fujifilm X-T5
I took a break from the cold winter in the Upper Midwest for the slightly less cold coast of California. I explored with my Fujifilm X-T5 and XF 23mm f1.4 lens.

Dealing with Anxiety as a Photographer and Photographing Iceboats
Просмотров 628 дней назад
I head to Starbuck, Minnesota to take pictures of iceboats on a frozen lake. Along the way, I talk about dealing with anxiety as a photographer. Maybe this is something you deal with occasionally or on a regular basis. Don't let this stop you from getting out there and making great work! ►Follow me on Flickr: flickr.com/photos/natedorseyphoto/ ►Follow me on Facebook: natedorseyphot...

The camera in this video was a gift for my sister and I wanted to make a video that was essentially an operation manual she could refer to. This is not a review, but a how-to!

3D MTB. This is an old movie from our time living in Djibouti, Africa in 2003. We had just gotten into mountain biking and pretty much tried to jump off anything we could find! Since we were beginners, there are a lot of fun crashes.

Hum.. good.. hum.. video.. hum.. hum..
Hi! This may sound kind of a stupid question but…am I supposed to push forward the film with the knob on the back for every single new shoot I want to take? Or instead does it go forward on its own? Thanks in advance!
Thank you for this video
Thanks!
I see circles made up of 10 dots. I don't know whether I should keep spooling or not. There really need sto be more said about this step. you need to tell the user what they should expect to see. I have no idea if my film is ready to shoot now or not.
You say that they are finicky and that the step is very important and yet you make it very difficult to follow. I have rewinded this now 10 times I have no idea what I amk looking for to know that the film is loaded.
Just found a Kiev 88 at the antique store. Amazing condition and this video helped a lot thank you brotha!
Excellent video very informative and helpful
All Hasselblad lenses work with KIEV TTL cameras, I have a Tessar 2.8/80 lens along with other lenses.
Dude, you helped me out so much, thank you!
It should have 1 on the film counter? If i advance the film/cock the shutter and i peek through tje back window and see the 2 minus signs. Will it still read in my film counter as 1? Or its already at 2?
Thankyou for this video, very helpful!
Humm .... Hum.... Humm .... Humm .... Humm...
It's a film camera. And even if its market price is around 800 us follar, nowdays, and is there anyone who wants that expensive film camera ...?
Thanks for posting this. I read a book that said the people in it went sledding in Kansas, and I would have never believed there were hills big enough for it anywhere in the state if I hadn't seen this video.
I bought a kiev 88 about 2 months ago. I tried loading the film just last you did in this video and the top of the film comes out knurled. I think it's where it passes between the metal film guider and the pressure plate. Do you have any ideas? I've been looking everywhere
Thanks for doing this. I just bought an 88cm and this is, by far, the best how-to video I have found on RUclips.
You're welcome!
Hi! I just started with square format and SLR`s in general. Im mosty shooting with rangefinders. One questions at all who have experience with both (RF & SLR): is it possible at all with SLR to use zone focusing just like with an rangefinder? I mean when Im using my RF-camera on streets, I just set aperture down to 8, I set the distance at about 3 meters and than I dont have to bother at all about refocusing each time Id like to shoot. From my first observations , its rather not possible with SLR and I just have to focus each time. Am I wrong? Could somebody tell me how it is with SLR?
I enjoyed that , very informative
I was looking for a "1" to show up in the little hole in the back, not the little horizontal lines. Dammit.
Great explanation :) thanks for this!
too many "ums" need to remove this distractor.
Agreed, I will work to improve this in future!
Thanks, I have been wanting to buy one of these for many years, but was looking for a video like this one to get a glimpse of what its like to actually handle one. Thanks for your effort!
thanks!
Good manual wich explaines almost everything correct....except for the metering Prism finder. You have to set the fstop to the minimum possible value of your used lens and not on the fstop value you want to use...
what battery do you use I heard lr44 do I need a spacer? thanks
I didn't know you couldn't take off the back or lens with out cocking first. thanks for the post. I just got mine.
You should actually never take the lens off when you're cocked as far as i understand the internals of mine. As with the film backs, you just have to have the same color in both the windows, otherwise the gears won't allign and you'll break the back.
Looks like a blast!
Not a bad looking trail Nate and the weather didn't look half bad.
Nice!
