19:49 wait is this lost media???? Possibly from when spongebob was still named spongeboy? it just sounds different. And is said to be the first time they voice acted as the characters
Without realizing it, I was smiling half of the time watching this. To get to see the team as real people who had faith that their hard work was going to pay off. I can relate as an adult, and It was honestly touching. I appreciate what they did. :)
Even though Stephen and the Nickelodeon executives knew that SpongeBob would be a massive success, I don’t think they knew HOW massive it would become. It’s culture at this point.
I’ve come to the conclusion that this show wildly succeeded because of Steve’s dedication and passion for his characters and setting. The definition of a labor of love.
Well as much as SpongeBob has been on probably for too long now I don't think it should have ended raft on the movie because seasons 4 and 5 still had a plenty of good episodes too
C. H. Greenblatt was one of the golden age SpongeBob storyboard artists/writers. He and Aaron Springer (cartoon genius) gave us the weirder (and in my opinion best) episodes like Krusty Krab Training Video, Survival of the Idiots, Band Geeks, etc. A lot of that early SpongeBob humor shines beautifully in Chowder and helped seal my love for it. As a 23 year old now watching the show that came out when I was 10, I appreciate so much that out of the entire show, there was only 5 episodes C. H. didn’t write on. THAT’S dedication right there. And yes, I did cry like a baby in the finale when Chowder is grown up and voiced by C. H. Greenblatt himself.
@@HeavenIsEmpty1031 and it was conceived back when he was working on the citizens of the deep. SpongeBob walked so chowder could run. Without the former you most definitely wouldn’t have the latter.
The coolest and most relaxing Behind the scenes ever! It's truly amazing to listen to and just watch the creativity fly! R.I.P Stephen thank you for making the best cartoon ever!
He has created a show that not only shaped all of our childhoods, but inspired a whole new generation of animators based on his life as a former marine biology teacher and artist with a creative passion for the arts and the sea. Thank you Steve for making this the best day ever. R.I.P. Stephen Hillenburg (August 21, 1961 - November 26, 2018) ♥️♥️🕊️🕊️😇😇🙏🙏🧽

Clancy Brown was a very violent character in The Shawshank Redemption just 5 years before the 5th season came out. Then became Mr Krabs , oh wow 😂
6:13 Does anyone know if that version of the spongebob theme is online anywhere?
Sadly, the new seasons' DVDs do not have bonus material which is such a huge regret on Nick's end

The tidal zone episodes of Spongebob Squarepants was named after Stephan's art work.
This and chowder are 2 of the greatest comedic animations
As much as I love both shows, Chowder would’ve never been conceived if it wasn’t for Bikini Bottom.
