Louis Armstrong invented improvisation in jazz, up until then the musicians played ensemble and it hadn't entered anyone's mind to improvise over the chords. Satchmo is long gone but never forgotten.

Great show in good sound. Is that a Soundboard recording?
There is a 'cleaner' version without the audience chatting and is great. All soundboard.
This one is: SBD/AUD matrix SBD Lineage: Soundboard~DAT Master~Cass.~DAT~CDR~FLAC (level 8) AUD Lineage: AUD0 (SW version) Sony WM-d6 + unknown mic (5x digital gens, unknown transfers) The bells portion of Plainsong is all AUD. There's a cut in the SBD source at the end of A Night Like This. The SBD has some weird vocal delay effects during Kyoto Song. Matrix process made this sound f*%king amazing. Show is incomplete :( Cleansed, folded, and manipulated with AA 1.5 All processing by terrapinstation 2008-05-22 Thanks to pavemalk for the sbd source.
