Thanks for this! My Planet Fitness has two versions of the Total Body machine and I can never get the vibration plate to work on one of them. And staff isn't too helpful.

I just tried it for the first time on Saturday, since I didn’t have to work. The guy working didn’t really know a lot about it, he just kept talking about how bright it was and that it’s not a tanning machine (I did want to know that however, since I’m already brown) No instructions explained to me, other than the poster on the wall. This video helped a lot and I watched a couple other videos that talked about the benefits. So I’ll keep using it to see how it goes.

Thank you! Finally explained! It's crazy that there are no brochures or training for the front desk stuff on this machine! After my first time with it, I had to come home and search for info. I could find nothing from the company, and this is 2 years after you made this video! I don't get their thinking. Anyhow, I appreciate the explanation. Helpful.

I thought it was so bizarre they they just gave me a room and that was it. No instructions from them or on the wall. They didn't even make me aware eye protection was needed and sold me gold stickers that fell apart after I saw the warning sign on the machine. I got in and pushed a bunch of buttons and hope for the best, I didn't know if I was doing it right or not. I was put off that the employee I asked questions of didn't even know what the machine was for. I did feel energized after, so I will do it again. But I have been searching the internet for information about it. Thanks for posting this video.

Oh my Gosh! I stumbled across your video & so happy. I tried using that machine 5 times & NO ONE from P.F. Knew how to work it . I removed my clothes… not sure what I pushed… but lights came on & loud music & fan… then machine turned Off in 1 minute…. Got dressed to get help & they were unable to tell me. I’m excited…going to try it today 👍💪🤗

I used for first time today ,it wasn't like what u say. The staff control the machines from front desk . I just have to hit my settings then push power. Once I tap power button session starts up. Air was already coming through as well. And don't wear sunglasses, they sell the tanning goggles for this machine as well .

I just left planet fitness after trying to use this machine and the guy had no clue what to do!

I have been going to PF for almost 2 months just using the treadmill and 30 minute room. Last week the manage ask me if I would like to try the hydro massage and I loved it.My second time with it today. With this machine I think it takes a few times to find the perfect settings. I joined the black card today and got into the red light therapy. The manager at PF is wonderful so I should have ask her about the controls prior to getting in. I only hit the power button nothing else. I’m going to make a note of your instructions. Thank you so much for your video. Also I used the booth tanning machine. This was pretty incredible bc it only goes for max 9 minutes. Timer was set for 6 minutes bc it’s new to me. I love the bars on each side which helps with tanning every where. I love PF ~ staff is friendly and knowledgeable and I do feel the judgement free policy. I’m kind of shy and I have been fine at PF. Good luck to you all.

I found out about this equipment by being curious. Glad I did. I turn the fan down by hitting the fan button a day arrow down. Can't weight to see a difference.

Agh! Why is it so hard to figure out how to use the controller-it’s so frustrating-I would have to put my clothes back on to get someone to help me turn it on. Forget about getting the wi-fi to work. Todays models are easier to work. I do agree that this machine absolutely works! My skin glows-immediately. You will see results in skin texture and overall tone-I’m 54 yo and I do believe it gives me an upper hand at skin health and reduction in fine lines-so-yes-use this machine 3x a week for 12 weeks-the shaking base does give you an “itchy skin” feeling. It’s mostly in my waist/flank area-so I put my hands on those areas during treatment and it helps If you are spending an hour working out-then 10 minutes is nothing-it improves the look of your skin-and for me-helps with depression. I’m not sure if it helps cellulite-I have not had a problem with that (genetics-I suppose) but I “feel” from the vibration that it possibly can help. I did a level 3 today and my skin felt very shaken and itchy yucky. Mostly my mid section-but like I said I just put my hands on the areas that felt annoying and it helped. I think I will do Level 1 for a while-3 was quite intense

How do you stand inside? I stood toward the door but I think that's wrong. Is it supposed to be with your right side to the door?

Thank you for explaining how to work this. I just joined Planet Fitness, & upgraded to the Black Card Membership. No one that works there seems to be able to help to show me how it works. I've been 3 times. My primary care physician had previously recommended the red light therapy, as well as the vibration plate therapy. She told me that it could really help me with my peripheral neuropathy & newly diagnosed Osteoporosis. She told me that this therapy, in addition to the workout (starting slowly!) on the treadmill & bicycle machine could possible help to regenerate my body naturally. I am already a health nut, been making fruit & veggie smoothies, herbs & vitamins for over 20 yrs. *HUGE thanks again!!

Thank u cuz the guy at the front desk just vaguely told me it would tone my skin. I was in there for 12 minutes but didn’t feel I was getting the full benefit because no one showed me how to work the controls. Very informative video.
