Recorded from the show Nashville Now with Ralph Emory from the late 80's.
He's got that capo placed in such a way that he doesn't need to finger half the notes he's playing. Gives him a real cool sound too. And with his right hand technique he doesn't even need a pick
Still a huge fan 💖
Just fukn play dude. Stop jibber jabbing
More groove and sole than a size 12 sneaker.
Awesome!
He was a bad man ....
Luv him probably a song with you in lupos
I meant I probably saw him with you at lupo's
None better
But why is Uncle Joey playing drums?
Não tem som
I think mojo was his middle name.
Recorded an album with Roy Clark. Pure respect folks
I loved his talking-guitar antics, and this is a GOOD EXAMPLE of that. I know he couldn't do that for every song, but I wish we'd have more videos of him demonstrate he and his talkin' guitar.
Nothing more useless than a MOJO that don't work. Bully for you Mr Brown yours is oiled and fine tuned!
don't care for this arrangement. He took the heart and soul right out of the song.
The Man.
BOING!
who is the slide player?
JJ Cale took a lot of his guitar style from Clarence G Brown
Zappa says ok, I say amen.
Who is that playing the Bigsby necked acoustic?
Paul Yandell. He was Chet’s sideman for about 25 years.
every note is perfect. chet is the apotheosis of guitar.
My Dad played this on the piano. Never got enough of it
According to his friend, Delbert Mc Clinton, Clarence was a New Mexico Deputy Sheriff and would bring his gun and badge everywhere he went.
I know he was a Deputy but have a Dallas Morning News piece said It was in LA on the TX/LA border.

Saw Clarence at a blues festival in San Jose, California at San Jose state university. Such a beautiful day and listen to LIVE BLUES by Clarence RIP CLARENCE.
"The Gate!!!"
Amesing wonderful.
Magnifique morceau, quel guitariste talentueux et le groupe qui l'accompagne est formidable !👏👏
A true master. This has that iconic 50's vibe. They need to add thid to the zombies in cod and on Nuke town. A missed opportunity in the original black ops!
Gatemouth was truly one of a kind Texas Treasure RIP Sir, you were a bad MF back in the day! 100%!!
Such unique style playing and one of most underrated guitar master , extremely nice and friendly man, RIP buddy!

Didn't realize the tune was that old... love that Chet always has such a great sense of humor -the immaculate picker
It was first published in 1921
Jakieś nadprzyrodzone zjawisko ten blues menowy występ!
It's always great to come across another video with the late Dennis Taylor on tenor sax. Dennis was from my hometown in Vermont and was part of my inspiration to be a jazz musician when he was in high school and I was in junior high.
