Nice video! Would you recommend this afternoon 20" over the Morning 16"?. I'm looking in to get one of this bikes, but I'm not sure what model to get. I need one that it easy to store and don't take up to much space.

Got this bike a few months ago for the main reason of storing it in my hallway and not wanting to deal with handlebars sticking out, my only complaints with the bike are the pedals it comes with are made of quite poor material and crack very easily, especially if you’re pedalling hard up a hill, and I’ve had a few issues with the chain coming off the bike, as well as the rear derailleur being a bit flimsy (but that may just be my preference for belt gears / internal hubs on city bikes).

Hello there. After driving 2000 km in a year, I can say that the Eovolt Afternoon 2023 has a very bad Nutt brake system. In addition, I had problems with the gear shifter. I changed the gear shifter and the brake system from the manufacturer Shimano is being installed.

I tested one last week and I liked it very much. One very good thing is that you can move it like a trolly when folded.

My wife and I have each have a Confort. Great bike, which we have enjoyed in our rides mainly from Kendal to Sedbergh and surrounding villages. Owned just over 2 years, reliable to date, apart from the rear lights on both bikes which when switched on, either do not light up at all or flicker intermittently. But otherwise great fun and easily transportable in the car. I have contacted customer service this morning , to see if they can help with the rear lights. Awaiting a call back. Will update when I have a response from them

That looks like a great route for riding. I would love to ride it on a non-existent bike for a good workout. By the way where was this filmed?

The Eovolt is promising but it's too heavy at 52 pounds and too underpowered 250 watt motor. If the upcoming Eovolt Afternoon Pro were made from titanium, under 30 pounds and with a 500 watt motor, it would be a revolutionary folding bike. As it is now, the Eovolt is another nice folding e-bike in an already crowded space. A direct competitor is the ADO Air Carbon, also with a 250 watt motor, weighing 27 pounds, and made from carbon fiber. It's far cheaper too. At $2200, the ADO Carbon is the same price as the Eovolt Afternoon. The Afternoon Pro will still be far heavier than Ado Air Carbon and the Afternoon Pro will cost $700 more than the Ado Air Carbon too. Unfortunately, both Bafang motors on the ADO Air Carbon and Eovolt are NOT UL Certified for use in the US, making ownership illegal in many states.

Hello everyone, I have had an EoVolt afternoon (20" wheels) for three weeks now and am very happy with the folding bike. The seating position is very comfortable, even on longer journeys outside the city. The motor provides support in a pleasant way and is still powerful. The suspension is provided exclusively by the slightly wider tyres - this may not be comfortable enough for some people, but I find it perfectly adequate; and I prefer the weight saving. The quick adjustment options for the handlebar and saddle height are simple and great and the anti-theft device for the battery is also very well thought out. The bike is easy to fold up and can be stowed quickly and easily in the car or train if required. I also bought and fitted a matching pannier rack from EoVolt. Of course, it's a matter of taste: I think the EoVolt afternoon is one of the most beautiful folding bikes!

What was the cattle grid like?

This is the best looking e folding bike I've seen. That blue colour is fab. What is the approximate range of the bike on mixed surface? Are there any plans for a range extender option?

Seeing your review of the Eovolt Afternoon Vintage has really inspired me, so I have ordered one. The one nagging doubt in my mind is at 84 should I be doing this. But your video is a wonderful I’m sure it’s what I should do.

Beste Kan iemand mee helpen alstublieft, ik heb helemaal zelfde elektrische fiets zoals op dit video, mijn elektrische fiets geeft ondersteuning daarna als ik achterrem gebruik komt dit op mijn display(¤). Daarna krijg ik geen ondersteuning maar als ik versnelling terug schakel krijg ik weer ondersteuning en daarna gaat dit weer weg van display ¤ . Heeft iemand advies alstublieft. Met vriendelijke groeten

how does it handle without motor assist, i.e. if the battery dies. is it still ridable then?

I am.lolking at getting the Eovolt Afternoon or maybe a Fiido (D11 or D21 I think).... With a Cycle to Work Scheme I can get the Eovolt for about £1500, it looks better made, and a better fold, but can it be 'unlocked" at all like the Fiidos ?

Body design it looks very much like a Qualisports Ebike. Mine being their Nemo model.

I am interested in this eBike. I have 3 Brompton bikes for different occasions. One is for commuting, so, I know how to change the front and rear tyres on my Brompton. I am wondering about how easy to change tyre on this bike. The motor is in the front wheel or rear wheel. To be honest, I strongly recommend you to make a video about how to remove wheel out and how to put it back. All I am concerned is the wire bit. It will be very useful.

Ich liebe mein neues Eovolt City X und meine Freundin auch. Es gibt weder Testergebnisse, noch Videos, oder Erfahrungsberichte. Verstehe nicht das so ein wertiges E Bike so wenig, oder eher keine Aquise bietet. Ich würde gerne für dieses Rad werben. Ich finde es besser als das schwere Brompton electric mit seiner O2Tasche (Akku 3 Kg) am Lenker. Einige Freunde von mir werden es ebenfalls kaufen. Gibt es zur Zeit in Berlin bei Stadler.

I had a shot of both the Morning and Afternoon in Edinburgh today. Loved them both and thought there would have been a huge difference between the wheel sizes when cycling but there wasn't anything major. So I'm torn between an MiRider or Eovolt???

The only problem with Eovolt is you can't by hardly any accessories for it, I was looking for the 12v boat charger and a carry case - can I get one ? NO...................................... I cant get ANYTHING for this bike always out of stock!

I've been riding my Eovolt Confort around the Scottish Borders for almost a year now - what a fantastic purchase! I can ride the bike with no motor support if I want but I don't feel daunted about going out on windy days or on hilly routes - with the help of the motor, I venture out on my bike far more than I would on my non-e-bike. It's robust, comfortable, easy to ride...brilliant bike!

One of the cheapest places to buy the Eovolt Confort is the Electric Cycle Cafe in Surrey. We are a new shop that doesn't yet charge VAT. This will unfortunately change soon.

I bought my Eovolt Confort in June. I’m 73 and hadn’t ridden a bike for over 50 years. The bike is incredible and has added a new level of enjoyment of the Perthshire countryside I’m lucky to live in. It’s a comfortable, stable ride and the build quality is faultless.
