Duane Eddy:Theme For Moon Children

Duane Eddy was my favorite recording artist when I first discovered rock & roll in the late 50's. I have played his songs countless times and they have always resonated with me. Early this summer we were having a beautifully still evening with a fluorescent sunset while airliners flew high overhead and left perfectly straight contrails highlighting the moon at its apex. I thought of this song, but did not know of Duane's passing at the time, so this is a belated elegy for him and all the listening pleasure he gave me over the last seven decades: RIP Duane Eddy, 1938-2024, a Guitar God to many Guitar Gods who followed.
