@@TravelVanningGamer So kind..
Loop Alien, also know as... 3 Hole Tensioner Guyline Adjuster.
@@PINACI I kinda like loop alien, It sounds cool...
what was that firestarter?
@@dominicschaeffer909 So the spark was from a cheap Amazon ferrous rod… but the fire starter is a piece of old rag I’ve used in the garage when wiping up oil spills or polishing brass. All the chemicals soak up into the cloth & make for great fire starter.
Yeah but like everything else camping who’s carrying the stuff 😂😂
I don't mind taking a heavy pack into my local woods as the walks really not to far..
Is condensation a problem with the single skin if you have to close the front?
So with all single skins there is a build up condensation but the very large rear vent really helps keep it down to a minimum...
Supermarket ready meals are a thousand times better than the dehydrated specialist meals which are now ridiculously expensive. I use rice sachets and M&S curries, delicious.
@@rogerhudson9732 I'll check out M&S offerings Roger..
Ey up buddy new sub here great video mate catch you on the next one 😊benny
@@Bennybushcraft Thanks Benny, Much appreciated.
Just seen your vid, I'm from Bedford, been living abroad 25 years. Used to do loads of camping with Army cadets (Kempston) Great to see someone camping around Bedfordshire 🏕 I'll subscribe👍
@@trip-tripper Thanks Trip-Tripper… Yeah I love the peace & quiet of the local woods. These ones close by Heath & Reach…
Great video. The bed looked cool. Where did you get the table from?
@@russeljohn3471 Thanks Russel, I’ll be making a video with the bed in the future so you’ll see more of it. I live in SE Asia for part of the year & I’m lucky enough to buy certain items direct from factory… it’s a nice bit ok kit but I’ll be changing it up for something bigger in the future.
Thanks for the prompt and helpful reply. I'll look forward to the video on the table as I'm looking to buy one. ATB Russ 😊👍
enjoyed this nice one 👍
@@hughsmith9401 Thanks Hugh, really appreciate your support.
Nice camping, great filmed
@@BareBonesCamping Thanks Tyron, glad you enjoyed it…
My grandpa had the larger paraffin Primus. His take on camping stoves was that paraffin was a safer fuel to use than petrol because it took pre heating to get it lit. Ive had plenty of bacon sandwiches and cuos of tea off that old primus all those years ago. If you want to get the best from your old primus, it might be an idea to get a couple of jet prickers in case the nozzle gets clogged. We still have our old primus going strong. Thats the beauty of these old stoves. Built to last. Definitely an old skool charm from that polished brass. And they pump out a good few BTU's for sure. Happy camping. And thank you for posting. Jan.
@@Jan-et1uz Thank You Jan, I do indeed have a few prickers in the box. I bought them to replace Uncle Ron's spool of fuse wire I presume was he's tool of choice. I've packed away my stove now & will have it out again early next year. Please enjoy my other videos & look out for more coming soon.
Thank you for posting. Ive just found your channel. Every minute spent outdoors in nature is beneficial. Some lovely shots captured there. Happy trails ! All the best. Jan

Just found your channel and subbed. I have the same stove for years but I don't use it much, prefer gas for longer trips and alcohol in the woods.👍
@@steveproud2893 I go with an alcohol stove for long trips but I love this for woodland wildcamps.
That bed is smart 🤓

@@anthonystirling8194 yep. I go the other side of the road to stockgrove .
@@coffeecamping5174 stockgrove lake looks interesting!!
Looks like a great spot! I have a few locations in Bedfordshire that I use regularly as I am local. So many great places around us to wild camp. I was out Saturday night in the Phoxx 2! Weather was perfect
What part of Bedfordshire do you frequent Anthony ??
I am central Bedfordshire. Whipsnade heath is a favourite of mine. Apsley heath in Woburn and Clapham park wood in Bedford
@@anthonystirling8194 your have to show me about some time. I generally stay with stockgrove as I know it's always so quiet.
I'm also from central beds, Ampthill to be exact, just come across your video, been wanting to get in to wild camping for a while, but not having anywhere to go without permission put me off a bit. Great to see someone local making videos, definitely subscribed.
Somebody posts a video free of charge, then someone watches it, they don't like the method used so instead of moving on and accepting you can do things how you want, they decide to complain you are doing it wrong rather than just find another video that meets their desire. Strange.
@@FAB12UCB I chuckled at the comment stating “most of the water runs out”…. Approximately 25g runs through which is 10%. So most of it stays in the chamber.
great piece of every lasting kit
Thanks, I’m just finishing off a second video showing the stove in more detail…
Would love to see the entire video! It is missing some coffee brewing 😇😇 Great editing and shots!
I do appreciate your comments... There's nothing more to add to this video... I'll upload something coffee related real soon.
Thật tuyệt ❤❤❤❤
Thank you for showing the cleaning step! Everyone leaves that part out lol.

Blooming is NOT necessary with an Aeropress. Nobody who really knows how to use it suggests that. Just sayin'
I appreciate YOUR reply.. I've bloomed every brew I've ever made & I really enjoy my results...
Question … with the flow control cap replacing the regular cap, can the aeropress go still fit into the cup with the red lid closed?
Not perfectly no.. Its a little bit higher then the regular cap..
Hey thank-you for them video funny enough I am seeing the same issue as you however the leak did not start happening right away, and even the sticking of the filter to cap it's every other press now it started sticking.. as for crema I am definitely getting that... The fresher the coffee the darker the roast might be playing with it...I have the leak at the same spot as you not sure if it's the flow or our Aeropress not sealing properly...
Glad you liked the the video. I highly recommend the Prismo cap instead. Much better quality.
@@coffeecamping5174Not a fan of the metal filter or i would have do you use the metal filter with paper or just metal filter itself? I have the airopress go and not sure if its a defect on the cap or the device.
so the Aeropress Control cap doesn't come with a metal filter... You can either Paper or metal... @@adriand6477
I enjoyed the videos, thank you! I understand not wanting to encounter other people, you certainly have more concerns in the UK than I do in the US but still, I'd rather not be seen. The OneTigris Backwoods Bungalow 2.0 is my favorite Bushcraft Tent. God bless! Frank
Thanks for your comments & for watching my video ❤
Stupid question but how did you keep yer bacon fresh??
That's a fair question. I leave it in my bag overnight & live in hope that a bear doesn't come by.... Fortunately the UK has been a little cooler this year so it's like it's not left the fridge. Basic food safety goes out the window in the wilderness.
@@coffeecamping5174 yeah I'm from Yorkshire. This summer has been pants 😂
Very nice 🤠

Yeah must work on that... I've uploaded a new video, How's the volume in this one.
Tent looks pretty good How was it sleeping in Subbed
Hey @bemorewild... So I've only slept in it once in the pouring rain & it was good. The long vent helps to keep things dry inside (there was a little condensation). I'm gonna be using it again in the coming days so I'll make a follow up video for ya...
