Просмотров 5621 день назад
This year, we’re playing “best ball” at our Drive for Distress golf tournament! 🏌️♂️⛳ Best ball is when each player in a team tees off on each hole and the players decide which shot was best. Every player then plays their second shot from where the best ball has come to rest, and the procedure is repeated until the hole is finished. Each player must use 3 tee shots. In short: all you can do is...

What a great video!
I love your job and how you help others ❤
You are a live saver!
What is 988?
988 is a new national (in Canada) three-digit helpline that provides urgent, live support by phone and text for anyone who is thinking about suicide, or who is worried about someone they know. Learn more here: 988.ca
Capricious suicidal contemplation is always entirely normal. When those ideations persist and threaten our survival, when we lose control of them... just as when we lose control of any other sorts of thoughts and feelings... in those times it's good to seek help. It's wise to repeatedly ask yourself "So, how's that working out for you?". Our honest (and without pride) answer should indicate whether help would be beneficial.
Thank u got family in Canada
The Great Reset
Thank you for your wonderful message, Tegan and Sara! You're my role models! By the way, I read your book 'Highschool" and I absolutely loved it! Way to go, girls!
❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🖤🤍
The Distress centre is the realist place in Calgary. Truly a beautiful thing it is and a great organization.
Thank you!
I have definitely dealt with my share of non-profit organizations in trying to secure a safe home for myself over the past 10 years There are not too many legitimate non-profit organizations in Calgary who actually deliver on their promises, but this one definitely is authentic and does help people If you want to give to a non-profit, give to this one, it gives back and truly does help people in need, unlike so many others that are only an illusion I am not biased, I am being truthful based on my personal experiences dealing with so many so called non-profit organizations in Calgary
Update: My joy didn't last long, I was scammed by my landlord and I guess so was the Distress Center All of that just to add to the pocket of a slimy landlord! But I still really appreciated the help! It meant a lot to me, Thank You!
@@kymchessall7853 Very sorry to hear this. :(
Kinda triggering. Couldn't watch the whole thing.
A video with no spoken words. Perhaps the most meaningful I have ever experienced sharing why crisis /distress lines are so important to have in our society. To the creator(s) of this beautiful video - thank you!!
Isn't it well done? Can you believe this was made by a high school student? :)
Well done message for a very important issue!
omg, sara in a leather jacket
This is mirror image. Still so hot.
Thanks Vincedeon! And thank you for volunteering with us :)
What a great & powerful message! Thanks for telling it like it is...the volunteer is transported into the caller's world for the length of that call...emotionally exhausting but so satisfying...I missed you DC when I moved back to Ontario....former volunteer
