I want to love the bar so much, but that is way too complicated of a design compared to the Benelli r1. The internals of the bar need to be simplified big time.

I just want to say thank you for your video . I just got my first BAR MRK 3 . I bought it used supposedly only 20 rounds out of it but it was crazy dirty in the action . Hoping it was just packing grease from new . Anyways i watched this video and you sure helped me with your info . Thank you again

Very instructive, thanks for posting. I just purchased the MKIII in .270, keeping these clean is key and don’t forget to use a copper cleaner in the barrel. Copper fouling will ruin accuracy.

Getting a comment past the RUclips comment filter is so hard these last few months we can't openly discuss our hobby. I've tried seven times, and have just run out of steam. My comment basically was a complaint that Browning have <redacted> their base by refusing to produce anything remotely like the REAL BAR in a hundred years to the point a small company has had to pick up the slack for 30-06 S/A's (apparently that word typed in full also triggers the censor). I'd give my left <redacted> to have a 20 round 30-06 S/A. This 10 round fuddgun is the closest we can get unless we want to drop $8K on the HCAR!

Brother - change your gun oil, or watch Project Farm's test that showed Hobbes got the WORST damage to parts to the point you may as well not even oil it and run it dry.

Those boats will make it through straight mud for a good bit but that ground looked to hard for them to get anywhere

Just bought my granddaughter a MK 3 270 for her 16 the B- day. Her mama wanted me to get her a Jeep. I told her that is y'all's job not granddaddy. That Browning BAR will last a long time that jeep won't. Browning's are like diamonds last forever.

Just got my 16 year old granddaughter a Browning BAR 270 Mark 3. Wood grain stock man is it beautiful just like she is. Cost as much as a vehicle. Can't wait to fire it but her B day ain't here yet and I can't shoot it first.

Thank you for the video. I just bought one chambered in 30-06. It's new, but it looks like it's been sitting 5 years or so. The oil that came on it is all sticky and gummy. It has a walnut stock on it. I have to figure out how to care for that as well. Like the impatient fool that I am, I cleaned the nasty out of the bore and put 2 rounds through it. I will not fire another round until I do this procedure shown here. Thanks again!

Hey yall…Those were Cow Nose Rays….Manta Rays are MUCH bigger. We see this in the Coastal Bend on our flats a lot with Cow Nose Rays in the Summer.
