This music is now my reason for me to play this amazing game and this soundtrack is the reason why I got into the game. Thank you for this track and more. Can't wait for more music from you in the near future

Some of the best music I’ve ever heard, and without a doubt one of the best games I’ve ever played.

I love the sudden transition in the middle into something creepy that then slowly turns back into the original happy melody. Much like many parts of the game.

I was listening to Gareth Coker's work on YT Music until at the end of the list, "related music" got added on randomly, and "Slay The Princess - Transformation" *instantly* caught my attention. I had never heard of this story nor this artist prior to today, but I was so deeply moved by this track that it stuck in my head all day, and I bought the game shortly after getting home from work. Idec what tangled up new horror I've just gotten myself into - I WILL partake in this inspiration! Thank you. Also, getting Amelia Jones was a VERY good choice - loved her contribution to Hollow Knight ❤ But this, oooooh, her voice be beautifully cold, chilling, eerie, peaceful, haunting, foreboding, ominous, lovely, all in 3 minutes. She's amazing. You're amazing for putting this music together, a big bravo to you, sir 👏

I don't hear anyone talk about the music of this game but its as intricately designed as the story and the paths and the gameplay and everything alike. This is the main leitmotif of the game which plays at both the main menu and Chapter l, and every other chapter that comes after it will use an altered version of this melody. Sometimes it'll be grandiose like in The Tower or Happily Ever After, and sometimes it sounds broken and "wrong", like at the start of every Chapter ll. That tends to be my favorite, like the notes are the shattered pieces of a vase, and somebody did a poor job trying to put them back all together with cheap glue

Wow I can't believe Brandon's still looking at the comments I guess that shows how hard he worked on this game and how much he appreciates it's success. This is the best OST for a game...ever, not necessarily the most catchy or "best sounding" on it's own but the best in how it knows to fit in and when it sticks out depending on the scenario and I truly mean this is the PEAK of music for video games. But if it isn't much trouble Mr. Boone I have a couple questions for about Slay the Princess. -What song took you the longest to make? -What's your favorite song you've composed? -Who is the best princess? -How much did they tell you about the game when you started and for the different princesses in the game how much did you know about them when composing the music? -Are there any big inspirations you've had before and throughout your music career and what inspired the music for this game? -Finally what's next for your music career?

damn! sounds like a condemnation, a sentencing, as you both travel deeper and deeper into your prisonic rivalry fairytale, the drums and bells of your mutual imprisonment slowly fading in and out like both your consciousnesses. lotta big words, but essentially, i love how this sounds! reminds me of some of grim beard (cool content creator)'s music.

I don't know if you will respond to this comment, but was this track inspired by Hells Bells from the Dragon ball z soundtrack? It seems to hit similar notes and feel.

After I got my ending, it feels so disingenuous to keep getting more perspectives, like I'm disregarding our actual ending. How did you make fiction so real to me 😭

This game is so painful to me because my mind and my spirit are opposite in opinions. In my mind, I dislike the direction they’ve taken and consider the plot weird and crazy. But… I cant help but love this game. It has some magic, some unknown, twisted, broken magic that binds me to it emotionally. I’ve played a lot of such games, some better than Slay the Princess in every way, but not once did I have to question my ability to pick between my brain and my soul…

for some reason , this song makes me... nostalgic ? like that weird feeling of longing... welp, you thata song is good, when you just need to hear it to remind why do try to play the piano.(and hope to find someone that knows ow to play the cello to play together.)
