Sorry you were confused. The idea is to make an image (by tracing any image, a letter or a heart etc.) onto an adhesive paper. I use the sticky paint samples or blue painters tape. The first thing you will see me use is the sticky paint samples. I trace letters which I will then cut out and stick onto the object I want my letters on. Then I paint over them. When the paint is dry, I peel off the sticky letter stencils leaving a clear painted letter in it's place. I use was wax paper for the backing. Then I have made cardboard templates of decorative designs that I again trace and cut out. Then you stick the blue painters tape designs to the object you want that design on, paint over it, wait till dry, then peel it off. You are left with the design painted on your object.
