There a app thats called airgun tool kit it has a conversion calculator it does all the different types. Also the reason why you had more power before is because you were in the sweet spot of the psi that the valve likes there a range of psi were the valve going to do its best. Once you pressure over it. You actually decrease in power that why the first shot lower fps . The chrony what helps you find the sweet spot range. If you had a bigger storage of air onece you find the sweet spot thats what you would regulate the regulater to💯🔫✌️🫡
Frankengun but she has some power. First chronograph I have seen that registers in the tenths.🤠
I really enjoy testing lead and some alloy pellets with my guns. I will have to run my homemade lead super heavy experimental rounds.🤠🇺🇸
Thats how i have mine.
Any links? Worth the wait.
@@franciscocastaneda6559 unfortunately they dont sell them anymore you can still get them from Aliance Hobby but they are spendy around 110 dollars.
That’s a AWESOME set of weapons!!
@@johnrisinger7484 thanks for your comment 👍
Nice I just want to give you some tip on pcp pumps that style should only be ran for only 15min at a time then it has to cool down it's also hard on it to pumps to fill past 4000psi it's also a good idea to run a second water filter system on it to make sure that there isn't any water will enter you bottle or airguns . Also never start it against any pressure line should be empty before you start to pump to your bottle. The cooler the pump stays the longer it will last you. Also that a really big tank for that pump to fill specially if completely empty It possible to do but should be done in multiple stages. 💯🫡👍👌 good move it hard to go back onec you own your own electric pump station. 😁😉
@@josephsaucedo8691 thanks for the advice. Thats already pretty much what I do maybe Im a bit more conservative than your recommendations already, Ive had this lovely little compressor for 2 years now , Ive only actually filled directly to the gun a couple of times now , the other issue I have is Im an apartment dweller so I have to run it when the neighbor is gone , I just replaced my hose filter today. On another note Joseph, I just got the cheapo Beeman Chief 2 , but the front sight / moderator is so ugly , I want to take it off , what do you think ? Can I just knock it off with a piece of wood ? I measured the barrel its 15.2 mm I want to put an adapter on the barrel end so I can use my airstripper or a better moderator, most of the time I shoot without a moderator on anyway so noice levels dont really concern me much .
I'd yes it should be able to come off you might want to put a little bit of heat to it before you try to hit it off. A heat gun or blow dryer should work great . The wormer it is when you try to hit it off the easier it should be to remove most likely there adhesive holding it on. 💯🫡✌️
@josephsaucedo8691 thanks , I have a heat gun I hadnt considered there might be adhesive holding it in place 🤔
Nice score Jason.🤠🇺🇸
@@johnnybbgunner2136 Hey Johnny, 👋 Ive had this little unit for 2 years now , I baby the hell out of it tho , short pumping sessions and keep the temp low . The bottle Ive had for about 1.5 years . By the way Amazon has a 6 liter bottle right now on sale for 175 thats a steel .
Looks good!😃👍
Budget Gun , maybe the ugly integrated moderator/ sight will grow on me , My first adult airgun was a Gamo whisper Fusion , I liked it ok I guess but right off I found the cocking aid distasteful, I dont know if you ever saw the movie John Carter of Mars or not but it reminded me of thier Spat guns . Thanks for commenting.
Can you flip the side lever over to the left side?
@@johnnybbgunner2136 I dont believe its reversible but its ok Im left handed so it should be fairly usable for me , it I can knock the integrated moderator sight Off I will put a carbon barrel shroud on it plus a barrel adapter so I can use my airstripper or Buckrail-line moderator .

that's nice
@BackyardDispatcher this riffle is $221 bucks out the door . Not bad for a decent shooting pcp , its supposed to make 30 footpounds but we will see , Im finally going to purchase a chrony , and quit using the phone app I have , Im currently using an app called Chrono Connect to get my numbers and I dont know what the margin of errors are with a free phone app .

@@springpistonriflefeverlone9611 Thank you Chuck ,its a good riffle . It can kind of make you lazy because it really doesn't take any special technique to shoot just like a 10-22 but with no recoil , I find as I purchase and use guns with high foot pound readings I just want more this riffle will produce 45 foot pounds with a tune and over 35 out of the box . Your average 22lr is much more powerful in the 90 to 120 foot pound range having a 45 foot pound gun allows for shooting accuratly from 100 yards or more , Im sure I can do better than my average after refamilierizing myself with the break barrel and practicing more but now at 50 yards my groups are between 3 and 6 inches. Honestly speaking if Im shooting breakbarrel anything over 40 or 50 yards , I happy just keeping all pellets in my 4 inch diameter targets.

Just to let you know to i can assemble you a p rod from new parts for cheaper then Crossman sell it for. I have enough new parts to assemble 3 marauder p rod pistols i also have a woods walker set up💯👍🫡😉
Hi Jason i was wondering about your icon if you found the problem or fixed it. No biggie if you haven't. I no returning it would suck because you also have the buck rail parts left over. I was thinking instead of trying to get a refund for it and ending up with left over accessories you can't use. If you might be interested in trading it for a perfectly working airgun that equal in price to your icon and buck rail parts. If interested let me no. That is if you haven't sent it in on that recall. I guarantee you will not be disappointed in what i have to trade for it. If your interested ill give you the full details on it. Just thought I'd offer. I also can repair it if you want to. Have a great one till the next one buddy 💯👍✌️🫡
@@josephsaucedo8691 Hey Joseph, thanks for reaching out , I havnt dug into the Icon yet , I dont imagine it will be too hard to fix . The only issue I would have trading is all the logistics and shipping , but your offer does sound interesting. I think on the recall if you bought it outside of the Crosman store they will only give store credit , and the only thing I would be interested in from the Crosman store is the p-rod or the Maurader semiauto. I do have a Beeman Chief 2 plus side lever on the way seems like its very similar to the icon . I guess Im open minded to trade . My ultimate goal for 2025 RE : purchasing an airgun is the Senica Recluse tactical , the Dragon Claw is good too . Anyway thanks for saying hello , lets talk more about trading .
@jasonnealey8325 iv got a brand new still in box 22cal pcp muti shot regulated bottle airgun never has been opened the price new 320$ let's just say its cousin to you bull pump they pertty much related. Lol 💯😁👌
I go with the dragon claw myself there a good hunting airguns 💯👌
@josephsaucedo8691 Joseph, I can only shoot a bullpup that had the bolt or sidelever foward mounted. Im left handed an often have issues with bolt a magazine placment Ive been looking at the newest Avenger bullpup. They moved the side lever up so its more ergo and ambitious.
@jasonnealey8325 unfortunately it's isn't a avenger that I have. It's a umarex gauntlet that I have the magazine are the same as Crossman/Benjamin the gauntlet is basically a hot rod beeman qb 78-79 it's basically same design with performance mod internals done by umarex . I have a gauntlet that I built completely custom and the brand new one in the original box wich basically a extra wich id be will to trade. If your interested. I thought I'd offer it for trade because it never been opened and ruffly the same price as what you have in the icon 🫡💯😉✌️
This is a Customized 25 cal high powered airgun called a PCP as the power source . For those who arnt aware , the newest generation of airguns are matching firearm power , they are more expensive than firearms with 200 to 450 dollar guns being considered budget guns , its not uncommon for the guns putting out firearm power to cost between 1000 to nearly 4000 dollars. This particular gun is very accurate easy to load and has lethal power up to 100 yards , muzzle energy with the hammer spring spun up peaks at just under 45 foot pounds, US army believes 36 foot pounds is considered potentially lethal.
Sorry, friend, you're mistaken. Once the scope is zeroed, you can use it at any magnitude as long as you shoot at the distance you zeroed it at. If you happen to shoot at another distance, that is, a compensated shot using the dots, then the magnitude will finally matter. That's all.
@@ce-brasilshooter8295 thanks for your comment, I agree with you , I was going from personal experience and had a bad scope , my incorrect bias was reinforced when I was watching another airgun channel and when the shooter zoomed in his Poi shifted so much he wasnt on Target , I suspect he had same issue as myself where the scope was bad or the adjustment on the turet so loose the scope tube on the inside is moving around .
Did paint the poormans side folder or is it made of another printed material?

@jasonnealey8325 just ordered mine from buck rail. The color looks good on yours because of the barrel. Thanks for the reply might have to mod mine a bit too
Hello is very difficoult to convert? Which kit did you use? Thank you and excellent video
@@diegoalegrevega if you can take apart a 2240 its very simple . The conversion tube is called a safepack you can buy from Amazon or ebay look up froggy airguns for video instructions. I had no previous experience before building mine so far Ive built 2 different models . If you work ypur way thru my vids you can see the progression of my builds . This model I put a foreend for a diana chaser on it but had to dremel the barrel bed because the forend for diana has a big gap and the 2240 gap between air cylinder anf barrel is small . The new model I carved a wood forend and bent a piece of perforated stainless steel to. Make a Ventalated hand guard . The most sophisticated tool I used in the whole process was the dremel Safepack is super easy 👌
If looking to buy try typing 2240 safepack in ebay or Amazon. It cost around 80 dollars
@@jasonnealey8325 thank you!
@diegoalegrevega Diego , reach out anytime , my goal in creating this channel is to help other airgunners that might be going down the same path . You can tune these safepac builds by changing the springs there is one sping in the valve and one behind the hammer . You can change the way the gun shoots , if you have a strong hammer spring and a weak valve spring you will get mad power , but few shots , on my Power build it gets just 5 shots , on my econo build meaning economical with air use , I get 15 shots It takes 21 pump strokes to fill the air cylinder.
whu didnt u just get the 1322 😂

Do you use artillery hold, and try many kinds of pellets?
@ all different pellets and slugs on my channel yes .
@ I am unfamiliar with what a artillery hold is
@ThomasJay723 artillery hold is where you hold the riffle lightly especially up front dont grip it let the riffle cycle thru its recoil , breakbarrel riffles have a double recoil it recoils backwards when you pull the trigger and forwards when the piston hits the end of its travel . You have to use a specifically designed scope for a breakbarrel or it will tear apart a regular scope even the most expensive scopes if not designed for double recoil will fail in a short time . Lastly follow thru is important because the riffle will exhibit both recoil cycles before the pellet exits the riffle . It just means hold tru on your target until it impacts your target .
🔥 love the guns

@@swift10falcon Ibwas speaking with Chuck from Springpistonriffle fever , he say quality control is hit or miss , I only really care about functionality, mine is 98 percent good , there is a small blemish on my safety and there is a part of my breech block that was ground imperfectly . The most important thing to look for is maling sure your breech seal is in good shape , I have yet to take mine out and stretch out the shooting distance but inside my house at a mear 7 yards its hole in hole with Iron sights . The only thing that surprises me is how large the riffle is , I thought my Beeman was a big riffle till I put hands on this one .

Another good place for 2240 upgrades is Alliance Hobby . That guy is awsum I asked in comments section of one of his videos if he could make hollow bolt probes as I couldn't find one he agreed and had them for sale 2 weeks later .
Iv never used the Beeman but iv heard that the under leaver brake barrels are really acute because the barrel stays fixed. If I use a brake barrel it's got to at least do a 50c size group at 25 yard. Or I will return it. Most likely why I've only got 3 but iv try at least 10 other's it's seems like in 177.cal there to fast speed wise and group horrible. Like the gamo pba gold pellets fast AF but doesn't group worth shxt . I no it sound cool when it brake the sound bearer the that Crack sound but it also a good introduction it's to fast it takes way to much pellet testing In my opinion. This is also random but I found my gamo stock scope to day still brand new. My actual gamo at my parents house my dad uses it to keep the 🐿🦨 from eating the vegetables they grow.💯👍👌🫡✌️

Its wierd because on HatsanUSA website it says it shoots 700 or 750 like 24 fpe or so I cant remember exactly but on Airgun Depot it says it shoots 650 fps in 25 cal . Of course I have a few firearms as well and loved / do love to target shoot with them but the more I get into the pcp game the less I seem to shoot firearms , I get the same satisfaction from airguns especially my Beeman Bullpup, I just cant say enough how impressive it is for a 250 dollar gun . @jasonnealey8325 no problem the croney pro with blue tooth id sell for 80$ the fx I scored on ebay for 1/2 price it's sad to say the person who owned it passed away. The kid sold it to me for a awesome price. It the only reason why I never open the other one. 💯😉 nice I use to own a house in Seattle Washington. I was to young my grandfather had left it to me. It's a nice place reminds me of Alaska. I'm live in California. I also own the same ruger models. Lol. Your definitely on the right track. Macavity arm. M2 and id say the jts sky hawk bolt action really affordable and similar to the fx drs but a lot more affordable. I'd also say the umarex komplete. 190$ its hard to beat. The only thing is for it to stay affordable a 7075 aluminum 88g adapter to hpa tank fitting would need to be machined by your local machine shop. The ones available aren't strong enough. It's worth having one made. Even with the machine labor coast. The amount of features you can't beat for the price. For a Side lever regulated bottle gun 2 10 shot mag pic rail suppressed . The nitrogen to expensive in my opinion. But with a adapter and nonregulated hpa bottle . It's a hole different ball game for the price. Those would be my Pic. I also could build you a beast of a bottle marauder rifel. Around the same price as a Macavity give or take. Ps what did you end up doing with the icon just wondering. 💯👌👍✌️🫡😉
all that brass is awesome
To de gas it you can either unscrew the fill prob or the gauge go real slow don't unscrew it all the way only unscrew it till you hear the air start to leak out and let it drain out till empty. Im positive its fix able it wouldn't be to difficult to repair it. Id say it either the valve stem or spring broken. There also the possibility that the water filter screen broke and parts of it went in to the valve not letting the valve open. The filter is built in to the end cap. The filter In my opinion a shity design and doesn't need to be there at all. Nibbs and hank both have sent different Crossman back because of the filter braking and making the airgun unusable. If you de gass and disassemble it on video i can walk you through repair it. If you like or want to fix it. I can also repair it if you don't fill convertible doing it. Id say its no more than 15$ for any of the parts and a few orings to reseal it. 💯😉🫡👍✌️💪
@@josephsaucedo8691 thanks Joseph, Im thinking the roumd ball ammo I was using might have slipped thru the transfer port and os resting inside the valve . I will let you know if I decide to turn it back in on the recall or try a repair , I hadnt thought of unscrewing the guage , great idea
@jasonnealey8325 no problem I wouldn't think the transfer port hole big enough for the round ball to be able enter the valve it self. If any thing I'd say it would get stuck in the transfer port . The round ball would have to brake apart for it to enter the valve port. Most of the time the valve port is smaller then the actual transfer port it self on factory Crossmans and the valve port a lot smaller than the caliber of the round ball . At least it should be. 🫡💯😉👍✌️

Hey Johnny, always nice to hear from you , I cant really say whether it increases accuracy or not , for the most part I just like the looks , they arnt cheap somewhere between 35 and 45 bucks it fits any 1/2 by 20 threading . Its fairly weighty not a light weight aluminum job .
Is she Thai?
Those are junk they are for cosmetic purposes only don’t do anything to compensate for recoil. Total waste
@@eugenecundiff-nv2tn thanks for giving your opinion, I disagree, the muzzle break is quite heavy and gives a little weight to the end of the barrel . It does not work like a firearm muzzle break which reduces recoil and muzzle lift. The main purpose on an airgun is added weight and Appearance. The other cool thing about this particular muzzel break , otherwise known as a muzzle flip you can push the barrel all the way to the end of the Muzzel break making a 10 inch barrel look like a 7 inch barrel . Thanks for sharing your opinions 👍
How did you build it? What tank did you use? And what did you use to regulate preassure per shot
@@Cody-sc7qo This is built from a 2240 pistol with a Safepack tube bought from Ebay or Amazon, there is no regulator in the build , you have to tune it by the spring balance with the hammer spring and valve spring , I have 2 of these builds one gets 5 shots and the other 13 shots the difference is mainly in the hammer spring strength, it has been very educational and fullfilling building my own PCP but it is way more expensive to build over buying a factory made gun , the other thing is the 2 riffles I built are completely unique, the stock on the riffle in the video was designed for a Dianna Bandit then modified with a dremel so it would fit a 2240 barrel spacing basically I cut out the barrel bed so it would fit the 2240 which has smaller spacing between the barrel and airtube . What you get by building your Own PCP is knowledge and Fun with a completely unique riffle / carbine . I dont know if Im completely done building my own or not just yet , I wouldnt mind doing a 25 cal and boring out the air transfer port , Im thinking if I can get 45 footpounds and get 2 or 3 shots that would be a nice project .
@@jasonnealey8325 yeah, that would be pretty awesome.
@@Cody-sc7qo check out the Cothran 457 pistol to see what a 2240 can actually do , the pistol grip frame and trigger all come from a 2240 an airtube is pretty much same nothing specail there but the breech barrel and valve are all custom. Cothran 457 pushes the limits of airgun power .
