How to setup a FREE server in the cloud | Docker and Traefik Stack Setup | randomodbuild
Hey everyone! In this video I will go over how you can get a "free" server in the cloud, as well as a free domain name. This is part 1 of a multi part series with a goal to get more people into self hosting, even if they don't want to pay for anything right away. It should be suitable to dip your toes in the water to see if you are interested. Please give a like if this is helpful and are looking forward for the next parts! Also, please consider subscribing, it is free and you can always unsubscribe later!
This setup is using docker along with docker-compose for easy management of containers. In this video, I showed how to get a free domain and a free server. We also setup DNS with Cloudfl...

Removing labels from Harbor Freight organizers | Randomodbuild
Просмотров 4,2 тыс.4 года назад
Have you ever bought those harbor freight organizers (actual name 20 Bin Medium Portable Parts Storage Case #93928, 62778) and the pesky label is hard to remove? This is a quick tip sharing how I deal with them. I use the specialist WD-40 in the video but any WD-40 should work as well. Did you like the video? Be sure to like and subscribe, it's free! Model T and Roaring 20s Flipgrid Video | randomodbuild

This is a video I made for a Flipgrid. It is about the Model T and how it relates to the Roaring 20s. I spent a decent amount of time on it so I thought I would kill 2 birds with one stone and upload it to my channel at the same time Lol. Music: www.bensound.com
Why you should get the Taranis QX7s over the QX7
Просмотров 1,6 тыс.5 лет назад
Why I got the QX7s over the QX7. The qx7s has so much more to offer, and if you total up the cost of the extra parts/accessories plus the cost of a qx7, it would be much more than what the cost of the qx7s from racedayquads or rotorriot is. The differences are: hall effect gimbals, upgraded switches, nice carrying case, rechargeable NiMH battery and charger, haptic vibration motor, bluetooth tr...
Best Cheap Soldering Station? | KSGER T12 Soldering Station Review
Просмотров 1,3 тыс.5 лет назад
In this video I review the KSGER T12 soldering station that I purchased from Banggood. I am quite impressed by what this little soldering station brings to the table. It heats up astoundingly fast, is very accurate, and is everything that (really anybody) could want out of a soldering iron. This is my first ever soldering station (I have only ever used the cheap irons that plug directly into th...
Tronxy X1 | Still the cheapest 3D printer out there? Review and Upgrades
Просмотров 2,4 тыс.5 лет назад
In October of 2017 I purchased this Tronxy X1 3D printer. I wanted to get into 3D printing as cheap as possible, and this was (and might still be) cheapest 3D printer I could find. I printed the test print, and proceeded to do upgrades to make it better. The first thing I printed was a fan mount designed by Stefan by CNC Kitchen. I had purchased a blower fan when I got the actual printer, and t...
Scaled Down Workbench | Video Coming (*relatively) Soon!
Просмотров 495 лет назад
In this video, I scale down a workbench I recently built (video coming soon). The actual workbench is 8ft by 2ft and the model is 8 inches by 2 inches, making the model a 12:1 scale. It isn't a perfect scale, I used the same type of wood for the frame/structure but it is close enough. The original purpose of this was for a school project and it served it's purpose (Final grade of 100%!) Basic t...
VacPac | The DIY Vacuum Backpack!
Просмотров 4,8 тыс.6 лет назад
Sorry if this video was too cringy! In today's video I take an old school backpack, ruin it, and turn it into a vacuum backpack. As long as you already have the $500 Miele canister vacuum and an old backpack, this project is pretty cheap to replicate! JK this can be made with almost any canister vacuum but I used the one we had on hand. This is a great project that is very fun and easy to do, a...

That is not "WD40," but their brand of Silicone Oil, a generally obnoxious lubricant that will leave a residue on plastics forever. Goo Gone and many other moderate solvents, like lighter fluid, usually do the trick better.

I recently purchased several "clear" plastic bins from HF which each had the large ugly grey/black labels stuck inside them. Your WD40 method worked perfectly (I waited 15-20 minutes). Thank you for taking the time to post this - I really appreciate it!!

I realize this video is 2 years old now, but........ Two days ago I went to my local Harbor Freight and bought 7 of these boxes - 4 or the regular and 3 of the deep boxes. All 7 had the labels on the OUTSIDE of the cellophane. No label stuck to the box lid !!!!!

Man, after Harbor Freight changed from the easy-peel labels to these new ones, this has been a constant pain to remove. Great tip to soak in the WD40 and wait 10-15 minutes; that was the key. All of my labels peeled right off afterward with no issues. Thanks for the helpful video, saved me a bunch of frustration trying to scrape it off!

Yep, everybody has different preferences. I actually resold the QX7s as FrSky wasn't being clear with forced obsolescence, and bought a Radiomaster TX16s instead. It has a lot more features and a lot more protocols supported, so highly recommended. Who knows, there may be another radio that is even better by now.
