    We used to make pear relish every year. We used a pre-made pickling spice mixture with ingredients similar to the spices he used. I recommend using pears that remain crisp and firm when ripe, not the kind that get soft when ripe. We used sand pears, a type that many view as inferior for eating, but which I like quite a bit. It goes great with all kinds of meats and vegetables.

    So instead of blowing out of the exhaust pipe and then settling on the ground, they put this thing in the middle that screws the performance up so you have to take it out manually and let it fall on the ground instead of just shooting out of your tailpipe and falling on the ground😅 good to know our government is looking out for us. lol

    The clogging is from unburned diesel coating your dpf. I would consider the fuel injection pressure and / or the turbo spooling up. I didn't hear yours. My thoughts are that your engine is causing your dpf to clog. Is the turbo spooling up? Is your fuel pump pressure high enough to get a clean burn. I own a TYM T474, no turbo, 204 hours, never regens. My point is that the engine exhaust is so poor that it's clogging your dpf. If you let water pass the separator, the injector nozzles will warp/crack. I am not a tractor mechanic, but I served as a Snipe abroad more than a few ships for fourteen years.

    • @pawpawjohnshomesteading1004
      @pawpawjohnshomesteading1004 6 месяцев назад

      Pretty sure it would be a good idea to trim as much fat off as you can. If it turns out to be too much with just the skin, it should be at the top of the jar after canning. Especially if your grinding the chicken. Good luck with your canning.

    Just bought a brand new LX 4020 to move snow in mountain resort. dealership put howes diesel treatment in it and sold me a bottle to treat diesel because the temp is around 0 degrees F at 10000 feet elevation. I have 17.2 hours on the tractor and the thing won’t start. tried for 3 days finally put 911 in fuel filter and added a little to the tank as per specs. still won’t start. had to tow it through 4 feet of snow 150 yards as the kubota dealership in my area wanted to charge me 8 hours of labor just to drive out to and from my location because i didn’t buy it from them. took it to a kubota dealership in a different state but only 1.5 hours from me. They told me the DPF is completely clogged due to the fuel. SOOO no warranty and no insurance coverage. $12000.00 to fix. the tractor was only $39000.00 WTF! Kubota service and insurance and Sales all suck. They blame it on the other dealerships, no one is taking responsibility for taking care of tractor. Read your manual and warranty and insurance form. If it is fuel related. NO COVERAGE. DONT BUY Kubota! LIARS and Fraudsters. Does anyone have any insight or help here ? Just lost over $20000 on contracts for snow removal. and looks like i wont be getting this tractor back for at least 3 to 4 weeks, even if i pay the extortion money to fix it. and then im sure it will just gel up again and and wont start and will have to go through this all again in another 17 hours. only about 15 total gallons of fuel have gone through this engine 8 of which was put in by the dealer and i only put 12 oz. of howes in the 10 gallons of ulsd i bout from costco. tier one diesel.

      Not familiar with that particular tractor but 12 grand is a bit much for a clogged filter. Sorry for your luck but we are not the first ones to get had by that DPF. Had me stumped for sure. My tractor did the shake rattle and stop right in the middle of the drive. Did the full mechanical troubleshooting and everything was good but would not crank. No air in the lines, fuel filters good, no trash in the fuel, etc... Before it took its last breath, it sounded as if the rods were about to shoot from under the hood. Needless to say, i jumped on line after that scare and discovered that all the symptoms pointed toward that filter. So thankful for the few videos i did find. Figured I would share the knowledge to save folks a little trouble. Mechanic'd most of my life, mainly out of necessity, and this one left me scratching my head.. Thank you for the comment and good luck on getting your tractor back up and running.

      As an off road vehicle I don’t think there is much risk of the EPA coming after you. And, as far as an environmental concern, agricultural equipment contribute a fraction of a fraction of a percentage to the planets carbon footprint and particulate pollution. The DEF pump on my Kubota m5.091 just failed at 300 hours and Kubota won’t stand behind their defective part. It’s costing me $3500.
