Thanks. It would be nice if a video was done covering adrenal tests that include optimal, healthy ranges including the cortisol awakening response (CAR).
How do we fix please?
Chronic high cortisol has given me diabetes and fatty liver, no muscles. 😢
How have you checked how bile effects it?
My uncle struggled with dysbiosis for months, but after starting IAFA Ayurveda’s natural solutions, he found remarkable relief within just three months. The holistic approach truly made a difference in his gut health and overall well-being. Highly recommend IAFA Ayurveda for anyone facing similar challenges!
Superb video, doctor. So well and clearly explained. Thank you so much. 🥰
It breaks down FAT wayyyyy before it breaks down proteins. It gets the glucose from gluconeogenesis from the glycerol backbone of triglycerides once fatty acids are detached. Alzheimer’s is insulin resistance of the brain, not cortisol damage. Naturopaths 🙄🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ Go back to school. It is so cringe to also not specify that you are a doctor of naturopathy (quackery) and NOT a doctor of medecine. You should have ND after your name if you want to use the prefix Dr. Didn’t they teach you that at school either?
Finally I reversed my tmau (body odor) smell & halitosis(bad breath) smell when I came across DR.UWENBOHERBALHOME on RUclips..❤️❤️❤️
Wow! This is an underrated video and topic!
Do the cells also open when after a hard workout?

Brilliant video, thanks Dr. Walsh :)
Helpful? It sure is...

Which doctor can diagnose the upper cause (neuro, hormones, immune) the way he was explaining ?
Thanks you
if you go to fat is not your fault website there is a warning from google that it has phishing software.....interesting vid
He does point out inflammation blocking the receptors. Sex hormones regulate the metabolism of neurotransmitters so its likely the hormones creating the neurotransmitter imbalances
This is all secondary to the root cause. Must eliminate excess inflammation and liver congestion for the proper return signals to hypothalamus to be accurate
A very nice, right down to the point about Adrenal Fatigue and a correct informative short clip. Thanks.
Thanks ❤❤❤❤
The video is interesting BUT it would be much better if you also presented solutions or treatments, or at least some advice
All very great info. Another reason most people miss is lack of dietary cholesterol, which is needed to make hormones like cortisol. We've been lied to for decades. The medicine is in the fridge and it's called butter!
I have a presentation today and after watching this video I'm very confident 😊 and ready
Wow I’ve been struggling with many health issues and trying to fix it one by one went to so many doctors and still after some time same problems keep coming back and only recently one gastroenterologist test me for dysbiosis and you guessed it i have very bad one that can be the cause of all those different issues you have listed that I’ve been trying to cure without any improvement. Gut health is so important
Wow,,, this video was made 11 years ago and I am just now finding. My phone is not allow me to go to the website he suggests. He is being blocked!!!!😢
How to reverse this muscle loss?
Thank you! Great video.
So how can we know where the problem is?
I've had this problem most of my life and in one video, I now know what's causing it. Thank you so much for this useful information.
Really insightful and i know this video was posted years ago but I am interested in the physical activity aspect. You stated that if you are physically active then no insulin is needed for GLUT4 to transport glucose into the cells, how is that possible? I thought physical activity only increased insulin sensitivity, allowing less for the facilitated diffusion to occur, not that it doesn't need insulin at all. If anyone can help me understand, I would really appreciate it :)
great explanation! tyvm
Excellent video. Athough I was a bit confused on the last ratio. My triglycerides were 89 and my HDL was 56 on my last blood test.... for a ratio of 1.58. I was told it should be below 1.5 to be in optimum metabolic balance. I've also read numerous times that total cholesterol is meaningless, but maybe that's not true after all.
They had me on atorvastatin but I lost 50lbs and got off them. Terrible brain fog from them.

Thank you so much Dr. Walsh for this informative video, and all other biochemistry videos. YOU ARE THE BEST PROFESSOR IN THE WORLD.
Awesome video thankyou doctor! So what can a person do to treat this cortisol? I mean what supplements and foods should they consume?
FUCK!! I’m having dementia systems!! How do we fix this shit!!!
How do you know your not producing enough insulin or the cell isn’t taking in glucose?
Why does my blood sugar level increase to high levels after excercise?
