    sir are you sure if you compute 4degree 15' subtracted 1degree 28' is equal 2 degree 47' ?

    • @cjallenbarcelona2027
      @cjallenbarcelona2027 2 года назад

      I think the answer is 2degree and 87'

    • @marinoguide
      @marinoguide 2 года назад

      Hi CJ! Thanks for asking a question. The answer really is 2*47’. 4*15’ - 1 *28’ 1 degree is equal to 60’. Since we cant subract 15’ to 28’, we have to borrow from 4*. Thus, it will become like this: 3*75’ - 1*28’ ----- 2*47’ I hope this answer your question. If you have any clarification, you can comment again and i will reply ASAP.

    I dont understand how you subtract the 1 degree 28 minutes form the 4 degrees 15 minutes in your example. I keep coming up with 2 degrees 87 minutes. You example says its 2 degrees 47 minutes.

    • @marinoguide
      @marinoguide 3 года назад

      Hi Face Diaper, thank you for taking your time watching my video. The answer 2°47' is correct. From the given, you can't subtract 15' from 28', so you need to borrow from 4°. We know that 1° is equal to 60'. Since we are going to borrow, we have to add 60' to 15' which is equal to 75'. 75' - 28' = 47'. From 4°, it will become 3° because we borrowed a whole 1 degree. So, 3° - 1°, it will become 2°. Therefore, the final answer will be: 2° 47'. Also, please refer to 5:03 of this video where I mention that 60 minutes is equal to 1 degree. I hope this answer your question. Should there be any confusion, feel free to comment or reply this message. Thank you and have a nice day!
