Exactly all the shavings are in the suction line now.
Hey. When you’re swaging with a tool like that you should swag the upper pipe so any pieces of copper that inevitably come off will not fall into the pipe. Hopefully you don’t cause a restriction.
In my defense this was a temp fix for a long time customer with a signed contract to have both units ripped out a week and a half later. No nitrogen flowed, no proper vac set setup. I don't think we even billed him. I agree 100% with you though. Should have done the top pipe, regardless of the circumstances
Very nice. Hi, my york YP9C inducer motor has only two wires. How is it able to ramp up and down with only two wires connected. One wire is HOT and the other is NEUTRAL. Thanks.
May I contact you? I have Hard Lockout Code 19 for my ALP105B
Those are just bad compressors have changed two on same unit. They are China made. Everything runs perfect only lasted a year. Can’t find any issues with air handler or txv
its not normal for compressors to just fail, something must have went wrong when it was installed such as not pulling a vacuum long enough
Has the refrigerant messed up your vacuum gauge?
Any idea what caused the compressor to fail, and what kind of warranty does the replacement compressor have?
Was this unit on LP? Maybe it was not converted properly?
Tare that junk out
Is that a 3 phase DC compressor?
Dude , I would had swage the other end. Now you got shavings in the liquid line to the metering valve😅 since it was r22 you might be saved
non brazed joints? i feel like thise are more likely to leak than a properly brazed joint
The pansy keyboard supertechs are out in force on this one. Nitrogen was not used 30 years ago and still the units will outlast new versions.
Systems 30 years ago used a mineral oil not POE oil which will loosen the black junk from brazing without nitrogen and clog either the screen, metering device, or filter drier.
Easy money‼️🎯
Any time I install American standard or Trane I like to remove that side panel to verify that none of the pipes are touching anything. Especially the ones that go under the coil to the compressor. I like that RLS setup.
did you like it when he bought the nitrogen out after he brazed ?
What torch did you use for brazing the line? Is it a red color tank?
Cat got your tongue?😮
dumping out those fitting like my kid does his Lego's lmfao, good job though dude!
Anyone else get anxiety when he was cutting the line with them shit rigid tube cutters 😂
They work great if you know how to use them
I've used them almost every day for years and never swapped the blade. They cut like shit lol
What size torch tip do you prefer?
Can a 3.5 ton unit be reduced down from a 7/8 line to 3/4 suction line? The old unit is 3 ton with 3/8 and 3/4 lines.
Read the manual but the answer is yes, you can reduce to a 3/4" suction line on a 3.5-ton unit.
You will lose efficiency but it will work. It just won’t work as well because it won’t move as much refrigerant. Different manufacturers are different and the information is usually I the installation guide.
@@AaronPowellvox Not in this case you won’t lose efficiency by dropping from from 7/8th to 3/4. As long as the correct sized piston or TXV is used and the charge is set correctly, a half-ton difference isn’t enough to drop efficiency. Plenty of refrigerant will be flowing especially with a slight larger piston or 3.5 ton TXV. The actual charge will need a bit more dialing in but there isn’t a big enough difference to change efficiency. If anything, it might improve it.
The efficiency is probably negligible, I do it and I have no issues
@@AaronPowellvoxwrong…say you’re not an hvac tech without saying it. I suggest not leaving bad info online.
If you are a DIY homeowner, I suggest to install the overflow bypass. Just look at how to from the manual.
Bad sensor or wasn’t hooked up
Instead of capping the pan drain they taped it. Water just poured on the ceiling and never got high enough to trip the wet switch
Btw those blow out guns are the bane of my existence.
She plugged, lucky someone isn’t dead
How much will you be paid for this cleaning?
Hello I am from Turkmenistan My name is Bayram How much do they give you for this air conditioner cleaning?
Wow a tape warrior huh and shot a screw almost into the coil looks like some service men would try to do I do not keep any of that shit unless it a complete new install and it’s code, my metal work don’t need tape because my shit don’t leak
Nice work.
4y55tttttttt
There's a spray can product at the big orange box store that you spray on the coils (let it sit on about 10 min.) and hose off, in case you don't want to use the on-hose cleaner. I did mine without even taking the case off...much better!
Looking to buy the yellow adapter . Did you pushed it with something??? What you called it please. Any link ?
This is the kit I have. Not sure if they sell parts separately www.grainger.com/product/55NH69?gucid=N:N:PS:Paid:GGL:CSM-2295:4P7A1P:20501231&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwhvi0BhA4EiwAX25uj3FTXSiN9tyr9bcPU3MMJCtzFhGdYon80_xzrjjmHSReRK34HLLUTRoCYkEQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
I have to ask why you cut the damn coil out to replace a compressor??? I have done many of those a never had to cut the coil out. Invest in the NAVAC for swage tool. Worth every penny.
Just pull the coils when it's a tall unit, I'm short as hell so it's just easier for me. I've been eyeballing the swage and the bender. Think I'm gonna pull the trigger soon!
I stoled your music and I'm moving to Nashville!
#respect
WOW!
Never seen one that dirty.
Filthy !
What kind of sprayer are you using?
Not sure the exact name but it's by nu-calgone for the 4x bottles
1000 dollars for capacitor and coil cleaning, Say its not so?
Think the whole bill was like 6 and some change including the diagnostic
Steep.
Wow... Now that it's clean...customer should have a lower light bill..now that compressor isn't working so hard...awesome job
Probably should start showing you turn off the power lol.
Nope, I believe in natural selection. We need techs with brains anyway
Heard the song and knew he knew what he was doing😂😂😂
To be thinking that that song is good music? Yech.
Careful with that nu-brite on that grass, they’re gonna be pissed when it’s all dead
Yes sir that'll be 500 buckaroos cuz gonna be cold cold now
Spine fin coils are water only. Nu-brite is way too strong.
👍🤙🤘😮
Glad you didn't step off the ledge, looks bit DANGEROUS
Would have went and saw Dr. Summeroff
Good old carrier heat exchangers, they keep us busy
And they hate hard low volt wires, they want it to be shielded stranded wire
