Bret Hart did not turn heel in 1997. He turned the American fans heel. I'm an American myself, and I know I was supposed to "hate" the Hart Foundation, but this was just a genius storyline. And Bret made it work with his talent and believability.

It's hard to watch this now after what happened to Owen. I believe Bret spoke more truth during this period if you go back and listen to all the promos that they did. You could feel him slipping away from Mcmahon each match.

This story about mr.pitt is total bullshit , first of all he wasn't fired from the show they were kill his character down the road anyways. There is a video here on youtube from the produce of the show of Boardwalk empire i fogot his name. He explains why they had to kill his character so early in shows run, he mention it had to do with Mr. Colemans character that he played. Mr. Coleman had cancer so they didn't know how long he would be on the show. Unfortunately Mr. Pitts character was connected to mr.colemans character on the show and thats why he was killed off. This story is a bunch of lies. The produce of the show said that. Mr. Pitt was very professional a good actor .
