Photographing THE COBB, Long Exposure seascapes at Lyme Regis in Dorset, and getting a unique shot
Want to know where to photograph in Dorset?
Check out my playlists for lots of photographic inspiration.
In this vlog I set off to one of the honeypot locations on the Jurrassic Coast in Dorset, The Cobb at Lyme Regis, in search of some long exposure seascapes that smooth out the water lapping against the rugged textured s-bend harbour wall.
I start off working the angles for the classic shot as the sun rose, making a mistake along the way (DOH), then ventured down to the beach to get a more unique perspective at this popular spot. And I am so glad I did, as this turned out to be the shot of the day for me!
Thank you for watching and all your support, it's very much appreciated.
Steve.

Photography with INTENT, how I took this Moody photograph I visualized, mountain and waterfall photo

With my Landscape photography, I, for the most part am reactionary. I turn up and deal with whatever is happening as it happens, but not on this occasion. The day was moody and socked in with ever changing low cloud, I knew there was a conical mountain peak I wanted as my background and I immediately pre visualized the shot I wanted to photograph, the layers of the shot and the seperation requi...

Very nice indeed. I need to visit this place on my next visit to Scotland. What is the approximately hiking distance to the Fairy Pools from the parking area?

Its about a 25 minute walk, but starts off down hill, so I would say a mile roughly, and I think it was £4 or £5 to park. Hope that helps 👍👍
