Edelgard was a true queen, and an amazing character. I played Crimson Flower on my first play-through and never regretted it. 👑

This was my first FE game. Nothing could have prepared me for the kind of story and character moments I was in for. I’ll never forget the cutscene of Byleth going up the stairs to see Dimitri in the shadows all I could say was “Dimitri… what happened to you…”

The reunion with Dmitri was phenomenal and very dramatic. You really can't help but pity and feel for him as his mentor.

I can't remember the name of this song so whenever I want to hear it, I search for "that one sad song from Fire Emblem Three Houses" and it brings me right here. Lmao

It was so painful to see dimitri like that I my first run through, I usually do not fall in love with characters for obvious reasons but Dimitri was different, he felt so real! And that made me feel so attached to this character that was so broken, maybe it's because of how my mindset was when I played fe3h? Who knows? But man was on the verge of tears seeing him in the rain too begging for the voices to stop, begging for an answer, a solution to stop the people he loved clawing at his feet for revenge. Sometimes you really do just need a character to help you out on your journey in real life, man did this route make me feel better after months of just me being not doing so good. Such a good route, even better characters.

Some of the others have been mentioned but there is a big light and dark theme in each version of the scene In Dimitri's, it's Byleth pulling him out of the dark and into the light symbolizing he can finally start to move past the tragedy of dusur In Claude's: He's the one that's in the light, and he's inviting Byleth into it from the dark which Byleth accepts. This symbolizes Claude's intent to find out the truth behind the church and the ancients no matter what. He's essentially removing the blinders to the world that Byleth represents Edelguard has two: In CF She's the one in the dark just like Dimitri, but instead of moving into Byleth's light she pulls him into a hug in the darkness but the light is filtering through the window. A nice middle ground that represents though her methods may be underhanded and warmongering, Edelguard and by extension Byleth truly believe what they are doing will eventually bring light to fodlan In SS Byleth and Edelguard have a brief clash which leads to Byleth staying in the light while Edelguard retreats into the shadows. Hammering home the point Edelguard truly believes her path of darkness will lead to the betterment of fodlan, and Byleth stands in a false light of the church evidenced by the fact it isn't as bright as the other cutscenes. Almost like Rudolf in Echos in a way

This song has so many things it's trying to say, but it can't say it all at once. The moment it plays is when its momentary message becomes clear. That's one of the best ways to make art.

Saving the blue lion route for last was the best way to finish the game off.

I know Claude kinda comes off as irreverent at times, but… the reunion just warms my heart. Byleth’s last memories are of their whole world being torn to shreds, and of them breaking a promise to Rhea to try and save her, only for both of them to fall in battle. They had nothing left as they climbed that tower but a vain hope that maybe someone survived. And to their surprise, they find Claude had been waiting for them. The famously paranoid kid they trained all those years ago, was so sure of his teacher, that even with them having been missing for five years, he REFUSED to believe they were gone. And so, Claude extends his hand, the sun illuminating him from behind. this time, it’s his turn to help THEM.

Leaving a Minecraft world after beating the ender dragon

Oh my goodness. This theme can give the "Velvet Room" from Persona 3/4 a run for its money. Absolutely beautiful theme

Killing Edie twice having done all the routes broke me

I absolutely adored Edelgard’s true path but it was incredibly devastating to do as a first play through (I did her true route entirely by mistake). Due to low levels at the time I was unable to save everyone like I would have wanted to and it hurt ALOT. Which is how I feel this game is meant to be played. It shows the true cost of war and the sad truth that not everyone is able to be saved..

"Farewell, King of Delusion" Damn, it left my heart in pieces... I'm playing BL for the first time (BE was my first route) and the reunion scene almost made me cry, the state in which Byleth meets Dimitri is one of the saddest things I've seen in this game.

I personally find it unfair on Edelgard. The creators didn’t portray her as a person properly both animated and picture wise. I guarantee that if the creators had actually animated a small glimpse or even show just an imagine of her past (where she had to bare physical torture in an underground basement and watch her siblings probably undergo some fucked up crest-surgery and then get killed,) then people would understand the reason to her somewhat “cold” behaviour. They put an image of demitris past (where they show the fire in duscur) which gave blue lion players a better understanding and a reason to remember his grudge. Whereas for Edelgard, they legit only revealed her past with her words, didn’t show a single picture like they did with demitri. If they had shown a single fucking image, it would have given black eagle players a reason to remember her ambition. Also, the scene where Edelgard speaks with byleth after jeralts death, people really hated her after this because of how she immediately wanted byleth to get back up and move on. But again, if the creators had emphasised Edelgards past a little more, it would give the players a reason to remember why exactly she reacted that way in front of byleth. If I remember correctly, her lines in that scene go something along the line of “others may cry for you but remember that these are only tears of an outsider” ( this isn’t word for word, it’s from the top of my head.) but people really hated her after that scene cuz it made her seem like a heartless bitch but if you look deeper into it, the only reason why she says that is because she’s been there before, in that lonely underground place of torture and she had no one to help nor understand her, hence why she says “these are only tears of an outsider” because no one will truly understand what you are feeling because they simply haven’t experienced it the way you have. So the only way is to pick yourself up and walk on. Which also links to how she fills and conquers her ambitions; because she knows that there will be a lot of tears that no one will understand (as she will come across old friends as her opponents when demolishing the hierarchy with nobles and crests) so she must keep walking forward.

I love this song so much, it can be used as either a happy ish song, with like reunions, but also sad, with regret

This song gives me major Xenoblade Chronicles vibes

When I first heard this song in the gameplay, I was like "DIMITRII!!!!(chose blue lion path) This feels soo unfulfilled!!!" Gladly to my surprised this song was actually call Unfulfilled, Im still stock till this day. This song is a masterpiece !!! It lives up to it's name!!!

My first playthrough was also the Blue Lions. My plan is to finish the other stories and end the game with Blue Lions.

I played this on tommyinnit's last dream smp live stream. Durring the *spoiler warning* Part where Dream kinda loses (as far as I know. Bassically I saw that he lost 2 of his cannon lives so far).

Byleth & Dmitri's Reunion at the start of the time-skip is forever etched in my mind. This theme is & the scene together is just absolutely heart-wrenching.

Everytime I hear this music or the short version(which is even more heartbreaking) I just think of the reunion between Byleth and Dimitri with saying "I should have known...that one day, you would be haunting as well" as the sun finally shines on him with Byleth's hand outstretched towards him

Edelgard: Huh?! It's--It's you! What are you doing here? Byleth: I came here for you. Edelgard: For me? Highly doubtful. So you were alive.. What have you been doing all this time?
