How To Apply A Vinyl Decal

This video demonstrates how to properly apply a vinyl decal. You can purchase decals here - www.aavinylcuts.com
Thanks for sharing, what driver did you use?
I'm really intersted in knowing how much time did it exactly take to print that last photo? 30 seconds would be fantastic ! If you could to a short video printing this photo, or something else, in real time, and showing your settings on the printer.
What’s a DTF’r? In my world that means she’s Down To F….
Hey is this any good for bookbinding ?
Can we print stickers on it?
Yes! I use it to print stickers! Keep in mind if you want them to be water proof, you will need to add a laminate on top of the printed sticker.
@@aavinylcuts Thanks.. I will check out on how to laminate at home! Thank you so much for the reply.. It is very helpful..
I just bought this printer 5 days ago, now I have to return it. It's noisy, the paper always jam, and I need to clean it every time the paper jam. 2/10 , not recommended at all.
Hey there! I appreciate you chiming in! I must be used to loud cutters and printers like my Graphtec. To me, it seems pretty normal in terms of noise level! As for the jamming and cleaning, I do 1 print head cleaning weekly as a precautionary measure and have only run into a couple paper jams since owning it.
I have the same problem. It doesn't feed well and jams a lot. It's just very fragile feeling. The print quality is awesome and I like the idea of volume printing with the ink tanks. But I'm at 20% through the ink and have had to work 50+ jams, misfeeds or the printer thinking it's out of paper when it's not. I'm using quality photo paper too. I'm putting in a warranty request.
Great review!
Thank you!
thanks for review, just ordered one for printing architectural drawings plus high quality renders, because of pigment black and good printing dpi the linework should be crisp and durable in time, its like a hybrid use case for me, I hope it will fit my needs! 🤞
I am almost 5 months in, and I still love it!
I just bought this printer on sale at Office Depot and I use it for my amateur photography for personal enjoyment ONLY. The 13x19 prints on good quality photo paper are amazing and my office walls are full of them. I recommend using this printer with a good quality digital camera...in my case I use a full frame Nikon D850 DSLR. Like this guy says, if you just want a regular printer for basic use, this printer is overkill but if you want to use it for some great quality photo prints, especially wide format like 13x19 prints, this printer is GREAT and I personally highly recommend it.
Perfectly said!
some guy did a 13 inch x 34 inch print. Can you do this with this printer ?
yes
sorry, i dont understand - "it doesnt make facts" - please explain
Don’t let this guy fool you he’s a quintillionare 😊
Ahhh you caught me 🤥
Thank you for your review of the Epson EcoTank Photo ET-8550. I watched the entire video, and you didn't mention any cons as stated at the beginning of your review. Additionally, it appears that only Epson requires a calibration setup to be performed before using the printer for the first time. I own several expensive Epson printers and other brands, and only Epson mandates a test print before initial use. Moreover, the calibration lines are not aligned initially, and the test must be redone. If, after several attempts, the lines remain broken, the print heads must be cleaned or cleared. This is not ideal for a new printer. A new printer shouldn't require calibration or cleaning of the print heads. As I mentioned, other brands do not necessitate calibration, and users can print from the start.
Hey @LouRao! I appreciate you taking the time to watch my video. As someone who comes from the world of cutters and not printers, you are teaching me something new regarding calibration. My cons were more so on the appearance aspect, sorry for that confusion. My overall experience with this printer has been wonderful from the standpoint of someone who cuts vinyl and doesn't do much printing.
I had to return my new printer because of this. It would not work after going through the steps. It kept printing broken lines and it drank the ink. It told me to wait 12 hours after doing a power clean. It still didn’t work. I returned and exchanged it. I am hoping this was just a bad one because the reviews have all been so positive. 😩
@@merpvfddjIt’s true, Epson printers are notorious for having lines across the pages. This can be frustrating when purchasing a new Epson printer, as it's often hit or miss whether you'll encounter this issue. I've been through four printers before finding one without any line marks on each print. It's crazy, but Epson has been aware of this known issue for years and has not done anything about it. However, once you find one without the line issues, there's no turning back. In my opinion, Epson printers offer the best quality prints compared to Canon's models in the same range. Canons known for print head clogs and wasting inks each non stop cycles it performs before printing and turning the printer on. So, for me, it's worth the trade-off to keep returning and buying until I have a faultless Epson printer. Don't give up; eventually, you will find an Epson without the print line issues. As for those positive reviews, consider the total sales and compare them to the negative percentage-overall, it's very low.
What is the largest size of paper
13x19 😀
I have the black 8550 (UK). Getting some lovely grapic prints 😊
Jealousy is an understatement
Maybe we can swap as I could only buy the black version and wanted white 😂
Haha! You are so lucky. EPSON is messing with our aesthetics!
Epson do this 8550 in black, I have it myself
I know they've had them in the past. I was upset they don't offer it anymore on their site or Best Buy :( Thank you for watching and dropping a comment! Have a blessed day!
Can you print on fabric with this printer?
Straight out the box, no. You can convert it to a DTF printer. However, I do advise against that, as you will void EPSON's warranty.
Yes you can through the back straight through feed. You can print on media up to 1.3mm that includes fabric.. maybe not a full shirt but you can print canvas, or fabric to make your own clothing.
