Our travels throughout the Caribbean, Europe, Asia, Central, and South America have given us some amazing adventures and we love to share all of those food and travel experiences with you.
We live on the island of O'ahu in Hawai'i and love supporting locally-owned businesses and activities.

Did you know empanadas are not typical at all from Spain? I think you are mistaken Spain with Argentina… very american😂
@@zezilios actually the place that we went to was a family run business for over a hundred years and his mother was in the back making her parents recipe for empanadas. They have also spent their entire lives in Spain.
Ugliest cathedral of all time. A kids giant sand castle for tourists not for god

I’m curious we have an upcoming cruise and we are looking for a hotel pre and post cruise but every review on trip advisor with pictures showed a pretty worn down hotel not to mention every rooms bathroom has a shower curtain it’s something i find so disgusting in a hotel

Hi, we will be flying on the same day as the embarkation, arriving at the HNL airport at 10:30 AM. Do you think this will be enough time to reach the port? I am worried that we won't be able to make it to the ship.
If you have the option to come a day early, I always advise to do so because there could always be a flight delay. But if you do arrive on time at 10:30am, you have plenty of time to hop onboard. It's about 20 minutes from the airport, so you'll be good.

@@cuabroadnow thank you so much for watching. We went to the Seaside motel. They allow you to bring a camera or your cell phone but we weren't allowed to video. The cell phone actually ended up taking better pictures than the camera we had.

@@kathleenmcallister494 the 24 hr restaurant is o'sheehans and they serve food all day. The Pride of America has a different restaurant, not O'Sheehans, with a diff menu too but it is 24 hours

Ok cruising in December, is it true not to really do water stuff? Like snorkeling etc. We are going to take your tip and come early so we dont miss our cruise:).
@@kiahbrown-pq2mw you can definitely do water activities. They offer snorkeling, snuba, dolphins swims and whale watching during that time. Def come early n lmk if you need any help finding a hotel.
Aloha! Been to all four islands, but thought about doing this cruise because of ports. Hassling with airports and hotel/condos., you waste so much time. Gina and Do, you gave great tips including rental cars and parking, great grinds suggestions, etc. I especially enjoyed the ship tour and helped me familiarize myself to ship and eating - especially Moderno’s! In your video, you mentioned a motel that allowed you to park. Do you mind sharing the name or location of the motel? We are heading on the cruise in about 2 weeks with our 2 kids. Can you share if with the cruise ship updates, can they still punch a hole in your key card for a lanyard or do you need the plastic holder for the unpunched card to slide into and the lanyard attached to the plastic holder? Also, your videos were great! Thank you!
@@KevinButler-y1t absolutely. It was the Maui Seaside Motel. They do not puncture the cards, so definitely bring the sleeve, something to do with the chip inside lol. You're gonna have a ball. Lmk if you have any questions while you're here

That's not true about the buffet being the only food for embarkation. The skyline dining room was also and is open for lunch on embarkation day. 😁

The cruise ships have to stop in a foreign port like Victoria because of the USA's Jones Act of 1885? The reason they only stay a few hours is because the Cruise lines own most of the attractions and gift shops in Alaska and that's where they want you to spend your money!
@@helgazoomer1461 yep, the Jones act makes it so you have to touch foreign land. But they used to stay in Victoria longer, however not so much anymore. But nowadays they do have overnights in Vancouver on some sailings.
I Just started looking on RUclips for the Hawaiian cruise out of Honolulu. We have never been to Hawaii so this was a good start watching your video you guys are hilarious and I mean that in a good way. Is the difference between that 11 day cruise in the eight day cruise

@@ruthpennie9038 there's aren't any bilevel but they do have suites in all towers that can be connected to another room. The Ali'i tower is the most famous for housing Elvis

@@joannanguyen5594 thank you so much for watching. The hotel provides chairs and umbrellas at a cost, they're not complimentary at the beach but they are free at the pool. The beach isn't rocky but for me, it's not warm enough dec-jan. But I like it super hot.
