    Imagine going from a lead guitarist at Woodstock 99’ to playing on random porch decks to no one and a RUclips account with only 200 followers.

    Wonder what the CS songs would've sounded like had Ross not gotten himself kicked out of the band. Ed wrote the songs, Ross added that extra sizzle that made CS stand out as more than pure background music. For anyone that's curious, this is one of two PRS Metal Series guitars he owns/has owned. They were made between 1985-1987 and are the only paint job of its kind PRS ever released. These suckers sell for $10,000 to $20,000+ these days! Would love to own one of these guitars, but I've got a mortgage and a wife that spends money on $hit I didn't care about as a bachelor such as curtains. I've become lame -_-

    Even freaking CREED can reconcile their differences and reunite. Hoping Ross and Ed can speak, let apologies come from who needs to speak them, and forgiveness can follow. Ross, please do whatever you can to make this happen. Healing feels soooo good. THAT can be the theme of your first song back with CS!! They are NOT the same without your special sound.

      there's also another rumor, that Ed cheated first, his wife took revenge by telling Ross Ed was stealing money from him and then she start flirting with him, so if that's the case, Ed's no better person that Ross according to my intimate convictions; and i like what Ross projects on screen it seems he has a pretty aura so i give a f*ck about rumors, cv was a thousand times better with him that without him

      A lot more then solos my man. Listen to all their albums at a good volume on some good headphones or speakers and you'll hear how truly amazing ross and Dean are. Those two traded riff after riff and it was all lead by rosses melodies and eds harmony

    • @coldinwisconsin2017
      @coldinwisconsin2017 11 месяцев назад

      @@chrisbauman2562 I disagree. Ross was/is absolutely spectacular. Dean was a hack who wouldn’t have been in the band if it wasn’t for his brother. I just a video on YT that Moby put out about the E-Bow and it reminded me of the Disciplined Breakdown album and the absolute genius lead parts that Ross always put into the CS songs. Yes, his solos were great, but without those lead parts the songs would sound like…..well…..like they have since Ross was not in the band anymore, which is to say: lacking. Even freaking CREED can reconcile their differences and reunite. Hoping Ross and Ed can speak, let apologies come from who needs to speak them, and forgiveness can follow. Ross, please do this. Healing is so good. :-)

    I imagine he was playing conservatively and "true to form" for this event cuz you know how the audience have a tendency to criticize and say "that doesn't sound anything like the national anthem, how disrespectful, blah, blah, blah..." The organization also must have screened him ahead of time to see what he had to offer. Hey that's awesome that you saw him shredding it up live. I'm not at all surprised. The dude is so unbelievably talented. When and where did you see him beast out?

      Look, you can have your opinion, but why would you sell yourself short and not discover NEW Collective Soul? Nobody said you can't enjoy Ross but come on... completely not buying Collective Soul albums because Ross isn't on them sounds so ignorant to me. Have you given any of their shit a chance? Go listen to their stuff on Spotify and RUclips. They have amazing new music out. Collective Soul is as good as they've always been, but just different. We all change. So please don't throw away some of Ed's best creations with the new lineup because your favorite Ross isn't on it. If you really love Collective Soul you'll find the enjoyment in more than just the guitars.
