I restarted my Folklore Ruffle Top 2 times because I kept twisting when joining in the round 🙈 Of course I didn't realize until I was already many hours of knitting in 😂 My daughter also LOVED her So Faded Pint Sized sweater and LIVED in it until it was way too small. When she asked you to do so, your friend was clearly aware that you are a brave soul, and she was right. Also, I hope your boy's hand gets better very soon. Take comfort in your family at this sad time, they will give you strength, and try to keep in mind that sunshine often follows rain. ❤

You've definitely been missed 🥰 Glad to hear little Alva is doing well and that you have all your family home with you 🤗 Congratulations on your newest sock design and can't wait to see which woodland creature will be on your next one and hear the story that goes along with it! We also had an extremely dry start to summer complete with fire bans although they've recently been lifted. Our country as a whole is seeing it's worst fire year ever and at one point we were advised to stay indoors to avoid the crazy amount of smoke that was blowing in our direction (it was so bad you could barely see ahead of you while driving). Wishing you all the best with your upcoming surgery in August 💕

Lovely to hear from you Emilia! Hope all goes well with Victory's transition. My step-daughter is on the Autism Spectrum as well and so I know how challenging schools can be for our kids (especially when they lack the proper supports for kids and training for teachers). Make sure to take a bit of time for yourself to rest and unwind and prevent burnout as well as help get your immune system back up ❤

Hi Emilia, it’s good to see you! I really like the colours you’ve picked out for your shawl, and it will be fun to see it take shape. It is great that you could do some things to help Victory adjust to the changes ahead for him in school, and that he’ll have a good teacher! My partner Tom is on the autism spectrum, and of course when he was at school people weren’t aware of autism/Asperger’s so he struggled with the changes, noise, and so on. Victory is a lucky boy to have you advocating for him, and the steps being taken to help make his first grade experience much better for him 💖 Hope Alva feels better soon, and that your immune system recovers as well! I chuckled when I saw the trampoline in your yard…you would live up to my 3 1/2 year old granddaughter’s expectations. This week we went to visit a lady on her 93rd birthday. We were in her backyard, and my granddaughter boldly said, “You should have a trampoline here. Then I could jump on it!” My daughter doesn’t have a trampoline, but clearly my granddaughter thinks every house SHOULD have one😂

I’m so thrilled for you! I can’t imagine what chronic pain is like. You have suffered for over a year, but did not give up on life and continued to be the best mother and wife you could be. And you bravely underwent yet another surgery…which has worked! Best of health to you.

You have got a new subscriber in me, I know about the knitting keeping me calm. It helps me take myself away from my own problems/ pain. I have found that I don't own my pain, I'm just looking after my back problems for someone else. Pain if we can get our brain to not recognize it, it helps in the long run. My mum taught me this trick, because she learnt it when she was 27, in hospital 10 weeks completely paralyzed, pain like electrical shooting pain going between hip - knee - ankle and back. All the time. She had to learn to walk again. She's 85 now Keep positive 😊

Emilia your facial features are soft, I feel like so much tension has been lifted somewhat. You've been in pain for so long and you're so happy with the small difference after only a few days? 🤞🫶 I love that the specialists are saying that in time it's likely you'll feel even more benefit. ❤ I lose subscribers every time I upload as well. I don't know why it happens and for a long while I used to get upset, like I've offended or that I'm not liked but these days I know it will happen and I try not to take it personally. Just know it isn't you, just the nature of content creation. That's what I tell myself anyway 😂 Continue to thrive Emilia. Much love, Michelle 💕

I am so pleased that it seems to be working well for you, and that you are not in so much pain. It probably will feel strange while they try different programs to see which pulsing pattern and intensity will have the most benefit for you, but hopefully it will get better and better. At least while you are resting you can knit! You sweater is gorgeous, and your daughter's tunic will be so pretty!
