Hi, this was a new feature from update 2.0. By default, shift+step is for favorite patches. For active step function, you need to go to : Edit Mode / global edit / 8th sequencer button (global 6) and click until you see "shift function". Switch "favorite" to "active step" :)

Thanks for the compliment 😊🙏 Sh4d is not like an mc, it's différent in many ways. You have less parts than an mc but you can design your own sounds from scratch. Mc uses pcm only (samples) so you are more limited in sounds design. Sh has 10 powerful engines + a 4 layers pcm engine. That's enough to cover my needs :) I was not aware that you can design your own drum sounds as well and the drum part has 26 tracks 🤯 To me, this things is the Tr8s of Roland synths ☺️

@@krostifmusic I wonder why you never got into the MC-707, which has a lot of sound design capabilities (Zencore engine) and even a sampler and looper. Would love to hear what you can do with it! <3

@@BurstupTV Yeah I was tempted by the 707. I think it's a great evolution of mc. But I was more tempted by exploring different workflows and different possibilities. now I have more things than needed so I won't probably never buy it 😅
