BEST SITES of BANGKOK | Khao Son Road, China Town, Asiatique
Bangkok continually surprises us as we explore more parts of the capital city of Thailand. Each area feels so different than the next!
In this video we check out Asiatique, a local market along the riverside, ChinaTown, and the famous Khao Son Road. We felt that it was a well rounded day full of markets, culture, and more of the nightlife atmosphere!
Although today was a holiday in Bangkok (causing Asiatique to be closed), we still made the most of it before we pack up and head out tomorrow! What a terrific day to end our time in Thailand, stick around to see where we go next!
Hope you enjoy the video :)

Chatuchak Market + Christmas in Bangkok?!

Great ready for a day filled with some of the best shopping spots in Bangkok! Bet you didn't think you'd ever see a caption like this from us hey!? 😂 However, we are nearing the end of our trip and it was around Christmas time so we wanted to pick up a few goodies for our families. Exploring the largest outdoor market in Thailand, certainly isn't for the faint of heart, especially in the Thai h...
Experiencing the Culture of Bangkok | Wat Pho + Grand Palace
Просмотров 3,2 тыс.9 дней назад
Today was our first full day in Bangkok, Thailand. With how large this city is, it can be overwhelming to know where to start! We decided we wanted to learn more about the history of the Thai culture by heading to Wat Pho and the Grand Palace. Wat Pho is a famous temple at the heart of the Buddhist culture. Known for it's large reclining buddha stature, it is also the birth place of Thai massag...

This food tour weaves us through alleyways we would've never thought to go down! Get ready for seafood, chicken fit for the princess, Michelin star dumplings, a Netflix famous restaurant, banned fruit, and........bugs! Our guides along with our group b...
THAILAND SECOND CLASS SLEEPER TRAIN | Chiang Mai to Bangkok 🚉
Просмотров 60017 дней назад
Today we make our journey from the north of Thailand to Bangkok in the south. This travel day is bitter sweet as we have enjoyed the Chiang Mai region so much and have had many incredible experiences in the past week! To get back to Bangkok we take our second overnight sleeper train of the trip. Although still in second class, this train felt slightly “upgraded” to our last. One of us having th...
Exploring the BEST TEMPLES of CHIANG RAI
Просмотров 15720 дней назад
Today we've rented a scooter in order to take ourselves on a tour of the BEST temples in the Chiang Rai region. We visited the White, Blue & Black temples, which are probably some of the most popular! The three were absolutely breathtaking and each so different from the last. We love seeing how the Thai culture can be represented in unique ways. Would definitely recommend putting this on your l...
CHIANG RAI NIGHT MARKET + WALKING STREET | Street Food, Performances and More 🍜
Просмотров 44024 дня назад
Join us in this video as we explore the northern city of Chiang Rai, Thailand!! One of the best things you can do when arriving to a new city is to spend a day walking around. We left our hotel this morning with no plans other than to see what the city of Chiang Rai has to offer. Yesterday we found that nothing was open but today the city was way more alive! We made our way to the famous Clock ...
Taking a Bus from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai | Thailand Travel Vlog 🇹🇭
Просмотров 73727 дней назад
Today we make the quick and easy journey from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai. The bus ride takes about 3 hours but stops half way for bathroom and snacks! This is definitely one of our shorter travel days but we aren't complaining! We are so sad to be leaving Chiang Mai as we have LOVED our time there!! So before we left we made sure to stop at our favourite coffee and breakfast place one last time. ...
JUNGLE TREKKING IN CHIANG MAI, THAILAND | 2 DAYS 1 NIGHT
Просмотров 461Месяц назад
Today we hike deep into the Mae Wang National Park to take part in a 2 day 1 night jungle trek with PM Tours! This was not something originally on our bucket list, but WOW we are so glad we did it! The trek took us to a remote village where we hung out for the evening to talk with locals and new friends from around the world, while eating some delicious food. After staying in the large city of ...

PURE CHAOS at the THAILAND LANTERN FESTIVAL | Chiang Mai, Thailand
Просмотров 370Месяц назад
Today we took part in the annual Thailand Lantern Festival in Chiang Mai! The lantern festival, also known as Loy Krathong, originated from an old Brahim Festival that was created to pay respects to the water spirits. It was then later adapted to show respect to Buddha. It is celebrated on the Full-Moon Night of the 12th Lunar Month. There are a couple of ways (some more expensive than others) ...
WE MADE TRADITIONAL THAI FOOD | CHIANG MAI COOKING CLASS
Просмотров 332Месяц назад
Food is one of the best ways to learn about a new culture and we can't visit a country without trying out a traditional cooking class! In this video we got the opportunity to partner with Thai Ahka Cooking School. We started our day by exploring a local market to pick up a few ingredients for our dishes later on. We even got to taste a couple things while we were there! We then made our way to ...
Sticky Waterfalls (Bua Thong) + Sunday Night Market | Chiang Mai, Thailand
Просмотров 232Месяц назад
If sticky waterfalls weren't on your bucket list before they definitely are now!! Just over an hour drive from Chiang Mai is the Bua Thong waterfall (known to locals as the sticky waterfall). This free attraction is a MUST if you've never experienced this naturally occurring phenomenon. The mineral deposit on top of the rock makes it almost like a hard sponge where no algae or slime can stick. ...

Visiting an ELEPHANT SANCTUARY | Chiang Mai, Thailand
Просмотров 611Месяц назад
Today was an absolute bucket list day. We have been looking forward to an experience at an ethical elephant sanctuary since we knew we were coming to Thailand! Elephants are one of our FAVOURITE animals so it was such an amazing experience getting to walk alongside them (even made friends with the grandma of the group) 🤗 The Chiang Mai region is very popular when it comes to visiting elephants ...
Pandan leaf doesn't have flavor, We use pandan leaf for aroma
Oh that makes sense why it mainly just tasted like the custard!
Very nice
You traveling in thailand happy
What a wonderful country it was! 🤗
Khao San road feels very fake, few restaurants and shops, I went there and immediately regretted it. Looks like the entire road was set up for tourists, I also didn't see any locals there other than the people working there, just foreigners.
Definitely felt like it was an area for tourists for us as well! Not our favourite part of the city. We prefer a more local feel! 😁
Asiatique opens in the late afternoon. Every shop, restaurant, and the giant Ferris wheel come alive at night.
Ahhhhhh of course it does 😂 Well I guess now we know for next time!
Welcome to Thailand
Thank you so much! 🤗

Mangosteen is the Queen of Fruits in Thailand.
100% agree with you! We were so mad at ourselves for not trying it earlier because we would've eaten it like everyday!
Glad this beautiful island is not over visited by tourists. My Great grandfather was from there and its a hidden gem. Lets keep it that way ;)
It was such a nice surprise! Even though it wasn't originally on our list, it ended up being one of our favourite places! 🤗
Hi Ladies, great to watch your hike! How did you find the drive down from Chania to Imbros Gorge?
The road leading up to the entrance of the gorge was not bad at all! Only got busy in the town you pass through but the rest of the road was very well maintained! 😁
Welcome to Thailand bro 🙏🏻🇹🇭💕
❤️❤️❤️
พรุ่งนี้ประเทศไทยเปิดทางการรถไฟท่องเที่ยวไทย-ลาว กรุงเทพฯ-เวียงจันทร์ ยังสามารถต่อยาวไปถึงจีน
The White Chapel is amazing.
It was so unique compared to all of the other temples we visited on this trip! So many intricate designs both in and surrounding the temple 😁
Great tip about the green bowl. From all the videos I watched (and I've watched quite a few) you're the first person to mention it. Merci😊
We were sad that we only learnt that at the end of our trip! Hopefully now you can recognize them if you find yourself in the country 😁👏🏼 We are curious to see if it is only in Bangkok or if it is in most of the larger cities!

Thank you! 🤗
For tired people you sure have energetic ambiance. And i can’t believe how easily you navigate public transportation systems. Awesome. 😊
Our trick is we always aim to be early so we have time to ask questions if we can't figure it out 😂
My mom’s house is about 300 meters away from Ponagar Temple
@@user-hg2fs5rl3h The Ponagar Temple was beautiful! What a nice view to have so close to you!
@@robynandgraham I grew up playing around the Temple. But now I live in California
I have been to Dalat about 8 times, but after watching your video, it made me want to go back there again
@@user-hg2fs5rl3h we were so surprised by it! It wasn’t originally on our list of places we were going to visit but I’m so glad we did 😁👏🏼
How often do you guys travel!? Love the videos! ❤
Not as often as we would like! We try to go for about 4ish months at a time but then come home to work and save up again for our next trip! 🤗 But glad you are enjoying the videos!!
Price for the train ticket please
You guys so lovely!
Thank you for your kind words 🤗 we are glad you enjoyed the video!
Interesting use of the word' exhume' as in digging out something like a corpse - but maybe you meant that, Graham. I was quite surprised to read that these are not old temples at all - the white one in 1997, the blue one in 2016 - and I agree with Robyn that the black one doesn't seem like a temple at all. All very unique though. Loved that the white temple had cell phones and Batman in there (symbol of good or evil? Likely still up for grabs!) Great tour. Thank you. 🙂
😂 we also googled what it meant and found that hahahaha definitely not what he meant to say! And yes it's quite shocking that these are new!
Great video! Those temples were beautiful.
They were so unique to look at!! 🤗 Glad you enjoyed the video!
Like and like I was like and he was like and like
🤣🤣🤣 You don't notice how much you say it until you have to watch yourself back hahahaha
You ate Curry Puffs! :D Don't know the word in thai :)
Glad you recognized it!! It was delicious 🤗
So glad I am finally on top of all your wonderful adventures. I would be totally overwhelmed with all the stuff that was being sold through that walking street market. Still lots of people around, though I think the lantern festival takes the packed prize! Thanks again. 🙂
One of our favourite markets we visited in Thailand! Between the local performances and amazing food, we had a great time 🤗
Love your video. Do you have one about the first sticky waterfalls you visited? Thanks
Thank you so much! Yes it's included in our video about Khao Sok National Park 🤗 it was part of the tour we did! No tourists (apart from our group), right in nature, and it was our first ever time experiencing sticky waterfalls! That hike definitely left an impression on us.
@@robynandgraham Thank you. Will definitely watch it. I'll be in Thailand in November. Still planning my itinerary.
@@legauloisexile3498 amazing! We were there for November and December 😁 it’s a wonderful time to visit but definitely busy in Chiang Mai because of the lantern festival!
@@robynandgraham I plan to be there for Loy Krathon. Saw some videos from previous years. Should be epic!😊
Wow! I can see why this festival would be the nightmare of the fire department! Our fireworks displays in Canada are so well regulated just because of all the Workplace and Health regulations. We had a mini lantern ceremony when Jacob graduated - only one lantern per person who came to his party. We were out in an open area but still a lantern drifted into a tree - and another came down into the field and we had to run to put out the fire. Very tricky to control - and there is the debris as you mentioned in your jungle vlog. Liked the floating flowers/incense part of the ceremony - to drift the negativity away for the next year. You guys have done an awesome job of giving us so many positive stories from your southeast Asia trek. Thank you 🙂
Interesting contrast between the two communities. Think you guys needed a change of pace anyway, for a day or so. So much happening. 🙂
Definitely caught us off guard at first when everything was so quiet! Really put into perspective how loud and busy Chiang Mai was!
So cool! Wish I were at least 50 years younger to enjoy such an experience. Appreciated that you were off the beaten track and seeing the country the way most of the people live it. Wonderful.. 🙂
It was such an amazing experience! One of our favourites from the trip 😁
Just found your channel. Really good information. Also love you share coffee spots 😊 ☕️ When do you both think Cambodia & Malaysia will be in your travels ? Wonderful content. Look forward to more SEAsia videos!🎉
You'll soon find out that we are obsessed with coffee 😂 We unfortunately didn't get to Cambodia and Malaysia on this trip but it's definitely on our list of somewhere we hope to visit soon 🤗
