Hmm minimally useful and just a repeat of info from elsewhere. It would have much more valuable if you had told people about the internal wiring of the connector, Tieing the new center terminal to positive or negative or not connected at all in the plug and what each voltage state will allow the Battery to do when it dects signal on the middle pin.

Great hack. I have two donated batteries that I have charged for other purposes, so now I got a better use for them.

This is not an extra capacity. You just charge your ecoflow using other source. After you drain your extra battery you need to charge it. Thats the same as i could easily plug into 12v car source and charge it again. Kinda tricky scenario to say that you are running extra battery. After you done with your lifepo4 and drain it you need to charge it using special charging device. So… useless imho

Looking for an update do you happen to know if EcoFlow Nerf this capability to plug 12 V car batteries into the X 60i? When I do it it charges it about 300 W for about two or three minutes and then it stops and zeros out again every 30 seconds and fails. I think that EcoFlow may have updated the software to break this workaround

Well I got a new Delta two with the latest software and I bought an X 60i cable to connect an external lithium battery as I've been told many times that it works . But it only does it for a minute before it shuts off. I'm guessing from the way it's behaving that EcoFlow has gotten the logarithm now that Nerf this capability and no longer works now that I've just wasted my money on this tiny. Can anyone else confirm that EcoFlow has work?

Why does it matter if it’s rated at 100amps when devices like the delta pro only draw 15.9amps max?

Hey I have been using 2 variations of the XT60 and XT60i to o-ring cables I have seen in your videos. They both work great although the XT60i has a better throughput from the battery to the EcoFlow Delta 2. I was wondering if you knew of a way to combine throughput from 2 batteries? The Delta 2 can take 500 watts of solar input, but I can only get like 150ish watts of throughput using the XT60i.

I just got a Ecoflow Delta 2 Max, and am looking for the solar components now. It's all very confusing. The max input is 500W on each of 2 inputs. Should I used 10AWG or 12AWG versions of the XT60i?

I had problem with solar panels charging. Checked cables the power was coming from panels but when i plug in cable nothing happens. What i did and it helped in my situation in the back of my eccoflow wher is switch turn on/off Ac. After turned of Ac the panels started to charge my ecoflow. After that turn on again AC.

You can only do this with a very small solar panel. Anything over a few hundred watts will burn out the battery. Solar panels put out much higher voltage than the battery and they are all connected with this adapter.

100v?????? Um you must mean watts😉 Also, the adapter MUST BE an xt60i not xt60. xt60 will limit power only maybe 100w. The xt60i will make the Ecoflow think it’s Solar up to 500w. Cigarette lighter plug is xt60 Solar cable is xt60i.

Ecoflows use a xt60i connectors to let more power go into their units. I have a Ecoflow Delta Mini it's input is 11-75 volts at 10 amps max. Using a Y-adapter cable with the xt60i connector and 3rd lead connected to ground, thus enabling the ecoflow to sense this is solar input not a car charger input, you will be able to get more input into the unit. But I would not do this in parallel, I would hook it up in series to keep the amperage under the 10 amps max for mine. With the xt60 connector the Ecoflow will always think it's a car charging cable and limit you to 8 amp input at 12 volts which equals 96 watts max. And here is a kicker the XT60i connector that comes with the Ecoflow's car adapter, the 3rd lead is not connected, thus you can't just cut off the car adapter end and make a y-cable out of it. I have my unit connected to 2 195 watt panels in series to keep amps under 10 and voltage is around 40 volts going into the unit letting me charge the unit with 350 watts max input. (not 400 watts because the MPPT controller on board will ignore more than max allowed input) Sorry for the wall of text but I have been dealing with trying to figure out the best way to charge the unit also. A DC-DC 12/24 converter connected to car battery would be the best way to charge this on the go and when your camping then connect to solar.

I don't know if you covered this too, but you make that cable with a xt60i connector to get full input to the ecoflow. If not then the ecoflow will concider it a 8amp max car adapter and not charge more than 96 watts even if you have a biggert panel connected. With most ecoflows they have voltage inputs of around 62-72 volts at 10-15 amps input, but only with the xt60i connection.
