If you are going to do comparison videos you really should upload in 4K. There is a lot of detail lost from 4K to 1080p. Otherwise good video.

Another ip that sony started to milk it all the way out they making a pattern right now actually every sequel of an ip comes out boom few years later we see a remaster of the last one thas not so different with the original one actually its not a bad thing with hardware and console evolution but not for a game that doesnt have even 1 decade age horizon zero down came out 2017 three years later we had completed edition and 4 years later remastered edition in 7 years we had 3 different version of the game that has a little tweeks in colors and graphics so sony sell its 7 years old game 3 times to us thats not right the only good thing is that if you had the original games you can buy this one with 10 bucks any way the video itself is a big W a lot of attention to details keep it up boy 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I'm loving both ports of Horizon on PC done by Nixxes (HZD remastered & HFW), but seems like neither Guerrilla nor Nixxes is interested in implementing RTX. There aren't many reflective materials in Horizon, but water and ice surface could look much better with RTX. Nevertheless, amazing comparison, keep it up man!

Interesting would also be: How many enemies in the old version vs the new version? Cause that felt really annoying to me in the remake. Just too many (and too powerful) enemies. Killed the atmosphere now and then.

Alot of hype and praise on this remake. But the Original is still king. It was made by the real guys who made it from scratch. RE 1 remake was different because there was no good story. Its different here. Simply, it's not a replacement. All I wanna say.

I’m happy for this comparison video because it made me notice something. The remake is objectively great, but I somehow prefer James in the original. Remake James just doesn’t look like someone who would commit (even unplanned) murder. He looks more like the gentle artist type, I guess they were trying to emphasize the life crisis thing. Original James looked more masculine, like he could have a temper and lose it, and that was appropriate. I miss that in the remake. Same with Mary. The original Mary was more gentle and feminine, you could easily think of her as a sickly woman. Remake Mary is too “sturdy”. So it’s like gender roles have been flipped a little bit, compared to the original. Original voices were better too.

RDR1 and 2 has ruined horses in all other games forever. I don't think I'll ever judge another game's horses (unless it's seriously bad) because it just isn't fair lol

i consider remake the game of the year, James is great and more enemies in darkness increase anxiety. Scary in many places. Locations are much bigger and better, puzzles too. Improved bosses. Thousands of small details. But Mary/Maria is nowhere near level of original. Famous "Anyway? What do you mean anyway!' is butchered. Her deaths are much worse and reading a letter in the end as well. I've replayed OG 2 yesterday after over 10 years and still don't feel like reading or watching anything funny. Much bigger emotional impact. And I'm 30 years old! The only game that makes me sad. Play both, I love them for very different reasons.

They may or may not agree whether the original is better than the remake or not. But let's be honest, thanks to this Remake the saga that this generation barely knew was revived a little. Do you think that the youtubers or waifu streamers on duty would play the original?...I don't think so. Now everyone is playing the remake and that will lead them to also play the original out of curiosity.

U dont compare the soundtrack tho? Scary tracks are missing and non scary originals are better.

So glad they removed stamina in the remake. Sometimes I just don't understand why they put stamina in a survival horror game (e.g. the Evil Within). It is just frustrating.

silent hill 2 og to me promotes the idea of less is more, less enemy encounters increases anxiety, less filler (8 hours of running around collecting items and smashing windows) allowed for the original to be story focused. The originals pacing allowed for common musical themes to reoccur and to really hit home. The opening theme when James reads the letter... the OG ended it the same way, but in silence this time. So when you are experiencing the reading a second time you're reminded... of the emotions and how far you've come from the beginning of the game, physically, emotionally and psychologically.

They say they’re using the Enhanced Edition mod, but I don’t think they’re actually using it, as many graphical features from the mod are missing in this video. If you’re going to make comparison videos, you need to be better. But overall, your video is pretty well made.

If you run long enough with James in the remake, he does make an audible gasp. If you turn down all the sound effects and music, and just keep the voices, his breath also becomes more ragged the more he runs. Depending on your health, he makes more painful sounds.

I know that this is an "aesthetic" comparison, but why does the enhanced edition of SH 2 looks that pixelated? I dont think it looks like that normally.
