I've heard many heroic military men and women express the same humble feelings, that they didn't deserve the honor, but they accepted it for the many that never got to come home. The level of loss that soldiers/sailors/airmen/marines carry in their heart is hard to hear.

In April-Mayish 2007 on NAS Pensecola Fl I was going through my A School as a Private First Class 6540 basic aviation ordinance man he came and spoke to us after watching us do log drills. It was a very inspiring event Knowing all of us Marines were going to Iraq.

This guy is a terrible story teller. “I walked up and down the mountain a few times to help some hurt guys.” Reality: I scaled a cliff face while an entire town tried to shoot me and pulled half my team down out of fire while the entire town continued to try and shoot me. Oh and they knew exactly where I was while I did all this. I can’t imagine how awesome it is working for a guy that’s this badass and this humble.
