I think its crazy that Serpent is not on the list. It actively nerfs both Discards and Hands because you won’t have enough cards to even play a good hand when you’re only drawing 3 every round. Really annoying to deal with

tips: if you have "mr. bones" joker for violet vessel you only need to reach 75% of the original requirements which is at ante 8 you only need to score atleast 75k score

The glitched joker actually tells you what you are going to draw next if you look at it during a round, ex Diamond eight would be shown as D8 at the end of some extra characters.

I'm a new player and had my best run ever until I met that number 1 the flint on round 16 I brought the vhs recorder voucher so it was maybe possible to reroll that boss but I thought it didn't sound too dangerous I built a mostly heart and clubs deck to only do nothing but flush or straight flush always So I thought I only had to reroll against a boss debuffing hearts

A fun rule i found is the placement your cards are in can be decided by you so you can take any card put it infront of your holo multi ace with a red seal. Play the Death tarot and you'll have a brand new op ace.

No, i know i only have like 10 won games on balatro, but each boss is no problem most of the time except leaf on occasions

My least favorite one is probably by far the Needle, just losing due to DNA is nasty

I absolutely hate the plant and the mark because I always go for baron builds when I can. The Water is also an old nemesis of mine especially early on when I haven’t stacked my deck a lot yet.

sometime, you get some rare joker and it's really good, but your deck isn't build for that joker so if you want to get high score, you much to be build the deck for the joker, not get the joker and build the deck ex: echanment a lot of card to use driver's licence or vampire ex2: buy and use a lot of tarot card ( no matter it's does somethink ) to use fortune teller ex3: destroyed number's card and copy face's card so you deck have only face's card ( some joker +mult from face card )

3:37 It's not that it's impossible to play those hands in traditional poker. It's *generally* impossible because *most* games play with a single deck. However casinos play with multiple decks to discourage card counting. So in casino poker, it is in fact possible

Christ, I was making things way too hard on myself for the secret planets. I was convinced that I needed to do some ridiculous blue-seal shenanigans to get all the planets. I had no idea you could just find them in packs after you played it once in the run. That should make getting the last one I need much easier.

remember when the arm could reduce your hand to level zero? I actually disagree with the needle and the mouth personally, and i think my worst would actually be the crimson heart at least from what i remembered of my gold stake runs

I'm under the impression that only people who _don't_ lean on jokers hate Flint. I guess it could be a problem if your build has no +mult to fuel meta-mult...

Ima give my top 5 (not top 10 since I don't have a lot of strong opinions on most of these-) 5. The Eye - Kinda surprised this didn't make the list in the video, since at least for me, most builds end up focusing on one hand type and if that's the case and you don't defeat this blind in 1 hand you're in quite the pickle 4. The Needle - This one's just stressful as hell, usually don't struggle with this one but my goodness does it have me on the edge of my seat every time it shows up 3. The Wall - The jump you have to make for your build to be able to beat this blind can be freakin' absurd at times 2. The Arm - Losing levels on your hand for the rest of the run is AWFUL, while this blind usually wont end runs on its own, it can screw you over enough to make you lose the run on another blind because you lost those levels on your best hand, causing you to score less than what's expected of you 1. Violet Vessel - I've lost several runs to this blind, in fact, I've never beaten this blind, similarly to the wall, the jump to beat this blind is ABSURD and I've found myself missing the mark by just a few thousand chips on multiple occasions EDIT: Actually beat Violet Vessel now, opinions on it have not changed one bit however

I lost a good run because it was the boss blind that covers all face cards and i had the joker that makes all cards face cards 😐

i'm fairly certain that The Ox always targets your most played hand, which will force you to either use something your build wasn't made for, or straight up cripple your economy, which could potentially leave you limping later on in the run

Needle can go straight to hell. Discard...Discard...Discard. Well, I'm out of discards and the game hasn't given me anything good enough to win with. Guess I'm screwed.
