I was washing clothes in my basement laundry room when as the washing machine began to epty, the drain backed up and water ran across the floor. At the same time the other drain in the basement had water coming out of it. So, I checked my sewage pump and my septic tank outside and found that both were working properly. Since those were fine and both drains backed up I new the problem lied in the main pipe going from the house to the first tank. I first tried my 50' 1/2" manual snake which has always worked in the past, but this time it just wasn't going through.
