Loved the video, very insightful! Just a quick unrelated question: I have the OKX Wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (job priority warm lab border boil monkey manage palace fiber weird ask). Could you guide me on how to transfer them to Binance?
What is background music name in the intro 0:02
Sounds great man!
I remember Doug from William Patterson Jazz program... He was always playing with the best groups !!! Incredible player !!
super tasteful ugh
Yeahhhh Chris. Miss these videos! Love talking about music, still trying all these years later! Been listening to a lot of Blade recently….hope you’re well!
what a talent you are man. as both musician and educator. bravo.
Great lesson fantastic

Really great breakdown. Tons of wonderful ideas!
Chris just subscribed to your page fantastic drumming and teaching special request please show me some buddy rich patterns to work on slow to fast need some syncopation patterns from buddy please help me dedicate this to boom will you
Wasn't gonna like until I heard your chops, great application and feel :)
Blade is one of those guys who has HIS SOUND, looks like he shouldn't be pulling off what he does but ALWAYS pulls his fills and tasty comping off.
Ooooooh that first performance video clip says SO much, they are SO locked yet loose as can be.
So fine and interesting!
Beautiful sounding N & C kit ! It's True the Best Brand of Drums will Always Cost more . Great Video 📷📸 !!
Beautiful Jamm
Love how many times you repeat the examples and the overall eloquent approach
Great video and lesson! Do you have a PDF of some of these examples? Thanks again.
Bernard Purdie also does that with rack toms, so he mounts his smaller tom to the right before the floor tom. He describes why he does this on one of his videos.
Thank you so much for this! 🙏🏼 This is gold! Ed and Steve are a world treasure! I got a masterclass almost 30 years ago with Steve. I was so fortunate!
I just got your book!
What an incredible drummer, he should go far.
I miss the drum hang posts
what an excellent lesson. thank you for your wonderful work!
Great lesson! Thanks for the knowledge!
Hi Chris, are you still happy with the drums? I am looking for a new kit. You and the drums sound very nice.
That set of cymbals you got there....delicious. What are those?
Looks like a Paiste on the right…those cyms do sound nice!
Great piece! Brian is fabulous, and you really get what all he brings to the music.
wow yeah! super helpful! thanks
great work..thank you!!
I think it's the "Jazz Crimes" video
27:06 - 27:09 is someone just burping???😂😂😂
Sounds like it…at least it was in time
Lmaoooo nerd I don’t care ☠️ ☠️ ☠️
This video answered a lot of questions I had ❤
Beautiful Paiste ride on the left, what model and diameter is it?
Great video, Chris. Really got a lot out of it.
❤lovely
Hey Chris! The video of the LLR sticking in the beginning is from a video of Firm Roots from the 70s with Jordan, Cedar and Jones right? Can’t find it here anymore do you maybe still have it? Thanks!
The first guy I ever saw do this was Joe Cusatis when I was in High School when he did a clinic/concert then, later saw Buddy on TV do this to a ridiculous level. More recent guys I've seen use this are, of course Colaiuta and Weckl. They will do Right hand with the bass drum and seamlessly switch to Left hand and back within a phrase which is totally nuts. The thing with this is that it can easily turn into a wanking novelty if not used musically.
Nice video!
This is very much analogous to how one approaches a blues double shuffle, but leaving out the "lets" of the left-hand swung eighths
Both these gentleman are fantastic players and teachers as many of us know! This is a great interview, thanks Hannah. I believe both of these guys will go down as the pioneers of drum set - (Jazz) education. When we look back on these times maybe they will be up with the greats like (Reed-Stone-Wilcoxon) and how to apply those fundamentals to the (Modern Drum Set) ! Congrats to you both!!!!! Tim Froncek :)
Hi, that's a great video, thanks. Can I bring to your attention a contribution by Peter Erskine, to which I am sort of attached, since Peter has been my drum hero since very early on. Generally, Peter is against any form of spang-a-lane, or as he puts it, playing the ride pattern as a 'three-note grouping'. And also he advises starting with very even quarter notes, and then developing a different phrasing options, accenting 2 and 4, of course, but also accenting the off-beat notes, and-of-2, and and-of-4, which he puts with Elvin Jones style. What do you think? Here is the video: ruclips.net/video/fYSFMeT4LxU/видео.html
Super!
Analysis kills. Fu*k ur video.
The white cunt is right. But it's better not to analyze.
Beautiful video man. Thanks!
Great video! Thanks. Keep them coming
? I guess that I gave much to learn. Like , I don’t quite see / hear how those swung ( jazz ) diddle variations connect at all with John Bonham. ? Ok ,,I’ll kerr we p watching. Thanks
