No the problem was they got permission from the old owner. We got sole permission from the new owner (same family.) The guys who were in the field were neighbors and the farmer said he didn’t want to cause issues with his neighbors. They also set up in the middle of the night. Huge spread and 8 guys. Either way the birds still came to us. Karma at its finest. 😘

Sounds an awful lot like you were one of those trespassers. Don’t act like the land owner didn’t come down and tell you that you were wrong, and you didn’t have permission. But to keep the peace things went the way they did. Imagine being on the X and killing 4 birds and watching another group pick up that many bands alone. 😮🥱 you must have been one of the nervous ones in the background getting your internet muscles out.
