Enjoyed your game--and really liked your paint job on the miniatures (wish I could paint like that!). Some comments on the rules: (1) someone asked about 6s causing disorders--that is for missile fire (causes a break test, not a disorder in HC), not melee. (2) normally we test to see if our leaders have fallen during combat because that adds an extra loss if they have. (3) this is just our take so treat it accordingly--we tend to keep a little space between units in support to more clearly identify them as separate units (yes, I know the rules say they should be touching, but we like the aesthetics better with a quarter or half inch alley--and it made no difference in the play of the game). (4) we don't count skirmishers or small units as a "unit" for the divisional/army breaking, so in your scenario, 2 (battleline) units would trigger withdrawals by that side [Honestly, except for skirmishers, we don't use small units as they tend to be too brittle]. Again, nice camera shots and a terrific report--hope you do more!

Great battle report as always. Big fan of bolt action and just waiting for my German army book to arrive to get stuck in to V3. Quick question don't German tanks cause tiger fear or has that been removed? If you took that into account then forgive me.

You forgot to give the Stug a cover save. Vehicles do get cover saves in v3. Where did you get the buildings? Your figures look great!

Reallynice. Epic scale stuff makes sense in termsof space, weight etc but nothing beats 28mmfor visual impact.

Should have moved the greyhound into the side of the panther at point blank instead of running across the fence A side shot would have been plus 6 into a 9 armor

A unit only takes a moral check when it looses half the unit from a round of fire from one unit. You removed a unit because it failed its moral due to it loosing half the squad but it received the casualties from numerous firing from numerous teams. Check the rule again.

Remember when a vichicle gets pins the carried units also accumulate the same amount of pins. So your waffen should have had 3 pins upon disembarking

Great models, board, painting, etc. This is very, very useful for newbies like me who are learning to play the game. Your narration during the game is very helpful.

I dont have the rules yet but I have played Hail Caesar and I was wondering when it comes to movement is there a proximity rule like in hail caesar or can a unit kind of freely move when within 12 inches? I know there is a modifier on the order roll but other than that

This is awesome, I agree with your analysis of the room taken up on the board and man does it make those boxes of soldiers make a much larger army. You do kinda have to invest in more command strips which are outrageously priced if you want to make it look right but thats minor. Thanks for the video.

Nice job... But southern soldier have not chance to win this battle, outnumbred, yankee have cover and "bunker" farm, higher and défensive ground.

I’ve used the same cardboard casualty markers, but I’ve stuck mine to 40x20 bases, so hopefully they’ll last a bit longer! Great battle report!

I don't think I've seen the confederates win a single battle report ever. And it always seems that there is a camera glitch when the union needs a good roll 😂

We played some games when it first came out and enjoyed them. putting the ships together and painting them was a different matter! We need to get some games in again.
