I think its time to upgrade from my Oh Snap 2.0

I recently upgraded to the 4 (against my will, i was fine with the 3, i don't know why y'all have to discontinue one just to release the other - i just needed a replacement 3), & i will admit some of the new functionality sounds nice. i have nails, so sliding it up or open really isn't going to work for me, but i'm used to companies not considering that humans wear nails by now. i adjust. my biggest complaint, & why it took me so long to upgrade, is the look. I hate that the middle is black. Black isn't a colour i like using - everything around me is either rose gold, burgundy or white, so having this giant-out of place black dot on the back of my phone is ugly to me. it would have been amazing if the centre circle was the same material as the outer ring. If the goal was to make something seamless with the colour of iPhones, make the whole thing that colour. either way, still love these. love that i can wirelessly charge my phone, stick it to my fridge, love the grip mode, love that i can put it on my car charger without removing my case like i used to do with Popsockets. i'll truly never go back, been a customer since the 2, but this thing is an eyesore on my phone now.

Where is the pop socket module?

Did y'all fix the scissor bit in the middle snapping? I had a snap 3 and it broke and the replacement also broke, this was all less than a year from purchase date

I am not sure what model I have, but the one complaint that really bugged me was the fact that the actual part that was magnetic was the ring around the part that actually extends. The problem it caused was the fact that it could only be compatible with large magnetic pads. Also, the magnet was extremely weak and would consistently fall if I went over a bump or something like that. Do the new models offer a stronger magnet as well as a magnet in the middle part that pops out so it’s compatible with the majority of magnetic phone adapters for cars? If not, to me, it’s not worth buying another one because other than being sleek and thin, which is great, it didn’t allow me to use it in the car like I did previously with other similar products. With that being said, if that issue has been fixed, please take my money because that would make this hands-down the most perfect phone holder/stand/magnetic device on the market

This grip does in fact, suck. Let's be clear, I've owned every version since 1.0 and this current 4.0 is better than all of them, except that it has a critical flaw. IT DOESN'T STAY ON YOUR PHONE. I have tried multiple replacements adhesives and store bought alternatives. Even gorilla glue can't keep this shitty grip attached to my phone. The problem? There's barely any surface area for the glue to remain connected to the phone case. So inevitably it falls off. IT'S USELESS.

I too was a big fan of the ad. Unfortunately, I bought it and the ring overheats when magsafe charging. Reached out to customer service and they aren't responding after multiple attempts. Don't buy it!

Saddest part is you can't even buy them anymore, or at least I couldn't find the base wallet anywhere, just the add on mods that were shown in the video. If anyone knows where I can get one of these, please let me know.

Yeah, I'm with all the other comments below. Before I searched this, I thought I was the only person who, and was dumb for, seeking out and re-watching a commercial. So now what I want to know is 1) Who was the Copywriter who wrote this? And has he (or she) been given a raise or promotion and a corner office yet? 2) Who was the director who directed it? Has their "quote" aka price gone up since this aired ? 3) What Advertising agency produced it? Are they now shoo-ins for all kinds of awards at the end of 2024? And of course 4) Who is this sassy gal who deadpans her way though the entire 3mins and 36 seconds? Misc: Love how they show her transform into every conceivable version of whatever their target demographic is: Lounger - Every day Normal Young Woman - Surgeon in scrubs - Slacker in shades no less, on couch - Country club golfer/fashionista - Corporate rebel - Lab scientist (with a t-shirt conspicuously displayed under her white lab coat ) - and then, surprisingly, cloaked in a child's teddy bear outfit and surrounded by stuffed animals - in a set of red childrens' PJs , (with dinosaurs on them!) . The only thing I DIDN'T love was that ubiquitous and intrusive "Green Screen" hand that continuously popped up. Okay, yes, I get the in-joke, and used once, it was funny. Used throughout the advertisement it was annoying. Cloying. Way too much of a good thing. As if to say "Did you get our in-joke yet?" No besides Visual Efx workers and some small $ of crew in the Film Business are going to appreciate the in-joke. Outside of this one annoying misstep, if any commercial can be considered "great", this one qualifies. I guess the only downside for those involved will be that from here on in, their future efforts will be compared to this one commercial. It'll be interesting to see if they elect to go back to the well and update it, or go with an entirely new campaign. But unlike 99% of other commercials these days, they went heavy on the CREATIVITY rather than SpeEfx and I tip my hat to them for that!

This is great to see. What I'm eager to see if you all have addresses are the hinges within the puck breaking after using it to stand up your phone for some time. And regarding the car mount, when are you going to make one able to stick to the dashboard console on cars that done have much plastic within the dash console to hold the phones. I have a S22 Ultra in a Volvo and the mount has yet to stay on my console area while holding my phone and need to know you have this resolved before I get another car mount once I get the S24 Ultra.

if you add ring so would be easy for people with large iPhone to hold the phone, I don't use wallet to my phone because they have no ring on it to hold

Okay the only thing that was holding me back from buying it is the durability but after testing 1million times I feel assurance it’ll last for a long. This video definitely sold me. Not to mention a great commercial.

Don't expect this product to stick reliable to the back of a new iPhone glass back! It will come off even with the large round sticker provided. The iPhone oleophobic coating is seriously going to win over any provided 3M sticker tape provided in these products! Who's the dummy now!

Well that didn't do so well even with the full sticker provided! iPhone has a fingerprint-resistant oleophobic - oil repellent - coating means any of these sticky rings will come off easily. Best to get a bumper case with the mag safe ring embedded into the actual case.

Damn mophie - Snap Adapters for MagSafe Compatibility (magnetic rings with double stick tape) would not stick reliable to a brand new iPhone SE glass back! They keep coming off when I remove the Apple MagSafe charge puck. I even cleaned and dried the back of the iPhone with isopropyl alcohol. Hope this ohsnap! sticks to an iPhone glass back and holds on like a bitch in a high speed chase!
