Hi friend! The doctor initially diagnosed reflux... we wasted precious time looking for the right diagnose, going from this, passing through a heart disease and at the end it was actually kennel cough. There are many ailments that produce this awful cough, so please make sure your little one is thoroughly checked before administering any meds that can complicate things, which was our case. We were so unexperienced and naïve, I will always regret not having informed myself better. At the end the measures to take care of a dog with kennel cough are very similar to those for a person, and one more thing... If you can, avoid at any price giving your pup kibble and switch to organic biological adequate food. Please let me know how it went with your little angel. All the best and hope to hear form you soon :)
Est-ce que c’est bien des reflux ? Car mon chien a la même toux Merci
Did this end up being the case? Or was it something else and never updated
Hello, friend. Doctor said it could have been acid reflux too due to the inadequate diet but the main cause was actually kennel cough... Cooper was too weak when we adopted him and on top of that (our big mistake), we took him to a park the next day we had him. These places are the perfect storm for individuals with weak immune systems... we learnt the hard way that a dog that you just adopt needs to be carefully inserted in their new environment and also that a biologically adequate diet is the best medicine for them. We switched to homemade BARF and he's perfect, thank God. Hope your little one is safe and wish you all the best.🩷
@cooperalexandergarcia7531 Thank you for responding! Might be too early yet but he was treated for acid reflux and we started making food for him and he's on the up and up. 2k later, but it's hard not knowing the cause!
@@rndmvideoz Oh, I'm so happy to learn he's getting better! Sometimes just by giving them the right food everything improves; our Cooper had many skin issues, allergies and stuff, and the right food fixed them all. I'm so disappointed at myself for not investigating more when we adopted him and for following the advice "only kibble can be given to him!". Worst error ever. Vets who say that either don't care for your dog or are interested in selling you the food or wouldn't dare to fight the system and bother you a bit so you can open your eyes. It's true, some individuals might achieve 15 years only eating that but it's not natural for them, it's not what Nature intends for anyone... Glad to learn these good news and i wish you and your angle aaaaaaaall the best. Thank you.
@@cooperalexandergarcia7531my little puppy has been having what I think is acid reflux since 4am last night and I really think it’s because I switched him to a different brand of adult food. I called the vet before switching and they told me I need to stick to the same brand, but the same brand adult version is a bunch of garbage. They also told me I need to come in for a visit. What am I going to come in and pay 300$ for you to tell me to continue with royal canin for. I am so lost and don’t trust vets
My girl has this same issue right now! It’s going on day 5! She was getting better then she ate soemthing random on the battery and ya flared up again! It’s so frustrating. All we can do is what the vet says to do
Hello Erica, thanks for your comment. Yes, Vet's instructions is the way to go. However, there's no harm in searching info because it can be a set of causes; acid reflux, kennel cough, heart disease, to name some. You can never be alert enough. All the best to our furry angel and blesses to you both 💜
What’s so annoying to me is the fact that i went to the vet and they wanted me to do xrays and a whole bunch of mumbo jumbo all costing me a whopping $950! I simply watched your video and a few others on acid reflux and i literally figured out the problem with my dog and i feel calm knowing it’s nothing major.
Hello and thanks for your comment. Although we in our community do our best efforts to share our experience and knowledge, the professionals' opinion is something you have to trust. I love to give my experience for everyone to take advantage of and I understand there might be professionals who may charge excessive money (in all fields you will find these), but this should not stop you from trusting a good one. Make sure you find that one. I did and I am very pleased and I totally understand your frustration and wish you the best. I'm very happy your little one is safe 💜
I get it! My dog has this and the vet did the same thing to me. When I suggested this after she was giving every other treatment but that wasn't working she looked scared and was like "Yes mam, yes mam" but her hand was shaking. 😡
I have never had one but I think they are superb looking dogs
Oh they are... if you ever try sharing your life with one, you'll also see how affectionate they can be. It's impossible not to adore them!!!💜

Hi, I hope Cooper is doing well? I can see this video is almost 5 years old - I'm curious to know if after this session with the ecollar has cooper been much better controlled off leash for the last 5 years? Was the ecollar a life changing tool for you to have used? We're having some issues with recall when our Viszla see's other birds/sheep and I'm curious to hear your experience with it prior to considering the use of one (with a verified training specialist).
Hello Thank you for your comment. Each case is different and has to be evaluated by a professional, as you said. Our Cooper is now very obedient and comes back every time we call him, but when we adopted him, he had many issues as he had been mistreated by his former owner. We needed (we thought) a quick method to make him pay attention to us and a professional recommended us this one. I must say, with all I've learned these years with him and other dogs and as my studies progressed, I don't think I would have used this tool if I had had al the info by then. There are many other ways to make your dog to be interested in you over the rest of the world. The bond is extremely important and this is not the way to create it. As the person who back then told us, it's an extreme tool when you don't have time to waste (or to spend). But if your angel is still a puppy or young or you have the time to improve your bond, don't use it. Try things like playing, the search game, teach your pup many small instructions, things like kiss you, give you the paw, follow your gaze. All these small things that appear too tiny make them search for your as their wisdom source and this is what defines the obedience in other aspects. Of course I'm talking about a dog that has no pathology, as this can affect the way they behave too, but in most cases, little efforts every day build a powerful bond that will allow you two to have a wonderful relationship with trust and mutual enjoyment. All the best and feel free to let me know if you have any other question or comment. Again thank you for your words.

💜Yes. They are💜
They are the best if you have the energy to keep up with them. They are sweethearts and full of love. Yes most dogs are full of love. Oh yeah, they are incredibly quick, agile and sweet. Yes they will always come back to you but might go the long way to make sure they do t miss a smell or adventure or small animal to hunt. Great dogs. So are GSPs.
Completely agree! Pointers are full of energy and can use all this to love you back with fun and passion :) Thanks for your lovely comment :*

Awwwww. So glad you got to enjoy many years of happiness and love! Blessings.
The Hungarian Vizsla Inu token was then named after the dog xD

:)
What treatment need bro pls tell me fast..
Jeez. In this case it was kennel cough. Same basic care you would give to a person with a cold but no medicine, just good food (chicken soup with rice is very digestive), good rest and loads of TLC. But only a Vet could confirm it's not something bad like heart disease. Please take care....
Well, these are not the reasons, why vizslas are specials..., but yes, when they say "vizslas aren't dogs", they mean it.
:)
Gracias x compartir!!
¡Cualquier cosa me avisas!

My 7 month old pup has started doing this for last few days. We thought it was something stuck in her throat but can’t see anything. Any advice grateful
With pups you need to be extra careful, talk to your vet now. If it's only kennel cough it should go away quickly, but if not it can be even some type of heart disease. Take care and kisses to the angel 💜
I have been affected with heartburn or acid reflux, a leaking gut, bowel irregularity, reflux esophagitis and dyspepsia for ages and nothing conventional medical treatment has given really help and support. I simply obeyed the 1st step in acid reflux treatment method “Aυstin Samupko” (do Go ogle to find it) and my aches are eliminated and some my signs and symptoms are relieved.
Thanks for the information! Kisses to the pup 💜

Awww thank you so much! Hope you enjoy your furry angel 💜💜💜
Great video. I love this breed. Im looking at getting a dog in the next 6 months or so. I do have some questions about the vizsla. I am aware that they are high energy, but what is "high"? Ive seen some people say that you shouldnt get a vizsla unless you have acres of land and can give the dog 3+ hours of exercise per day. That just seems ridiculous and exaggerated. How much exercise do they truly need? 1 hour, 1.5 hours daily? And my second question is about off-leash outdoor activities. I am always out hiking, fishing, or on a boat, and am wondering if they make good off leash companions for these kinds of things. Do they have good recall? Will they do fine on a boat?
Hello my dear friend! I'm delighted to learn you're in the lookout for one of these angels. First of all... exercise... a huge myth. They do need to exercise but not several hours a day. I'd say, the same as us. The important thing is that challenge them on an intelectual level more than anything else. It's what matters the most, so A LOT of education, instructions, tricks, playtime. Yes, they need to learn how to follow instructions and this has to happen at a very early stage. 3 months as a minimum. Apart from that, they will be a couch potato. (Or a leg potato, to be honest). Watch out two VERY important things: get your pooch from a GOOD and professional breeder, who will surely give you good advice and supervision, and ensure your pup will not be away from his o her mother before he or she is 3 months old. VERY critical, as the mother will teach the pup many social skills and plays a fundamental part of their education and self-esteem and manners. The other thing, make sure you keep a GOOD socialization with GOOD dogs at least until your pup is 1,5 years old. It's quite the job but is instrumental. If you need a dog trainer to give you guidance, don't hesitate. These dogs are extremely loyal, smart, affectionate and will go great lengths to please you, but when poorly socialized, they can be a problem (as most o the dogs). A good breeder will make sure you don't make these mistakes. Other than that, their disposition to be with you and be your partner in crime in whatever mission you want, is endless. You're in for a beautiful experience. Enjoy it and please keep us posted <3
Who the fuck disliked this? I want to fucking know
Unless you have or had Vizsla’s you will never know how unbelievable good they are!
Absolutely! You can't imagine how much you get to love them 💜
Best dogs in the world. My Father gave me my first vizsla when I was 13 years old. I’m on numbers six and seven, Otis and Izzy Bean. They have given me so much joy throughout my life. I can’t imagine my life without them.
They are very special beings, so affectionate, so loyal and at the same time so crazy :) The Hungarians are very proud of this breed and not without reason. And to think they were almost extinct because of political causes, it's scary. Thanks for your words. Only a Vizsla owner can understand a Vizsla owner :)
@@cooperalexandergarcia7531 Thank you for responding to my comment. We are blessed to know the magical beings called vizsla. They’re really special. I get a kick out of reading comments other vizsla owners write about their vizslas. We are all quite passionate about the breed, and it’s amusing sometimes the things people will do for their vizslas.
Thank you for sharing the Vizsla love ☺️ It's true, some people don't understand the kind of bond you can have with these little angels. I think we have to thank the Hungarians for this amazing gift to the world ☺️
@@cooperalexandergarcia7531 My nephew owned a clever, lovely, well trained vizsla (or the vizsla owned him). She was a very beloved, devoted special soul of dog. Unfortunately my nephew is gone young, less then 40 yo. His vizsla died short after him. She couldn't live without him, just laid sadly in his favorite armchair for awhile. We could not do anything to comfort her, she lost her will of life. I am Hungarian and glad that so many of her breed give joy to humans.
@@polyglot.basketer947 Oh, dear Mari. Your story has brought tears to my eyes... only if you have had the chance to know one of these angels you can understand how beautiful their souls are... I always say I'm deeply in debt with Hungary for being then birthplace of the greatest breed ever. My two Vizslas are my life, and I can only say your nephew is happy and complete now that he has his beautiful girl with him for infinite cuddles and love. Bless you all. 💜
Hi! It is the same noise that my cat do. She has kidney problems that cause excess acid, I think my cat does it for that.
Thank you, Tay. It turned out to be kennel cough. It was so scary. But thankfully, this disease is not that nasty, yet highly contagious. Thank you.
Hello , my dog does this about once a week, sounds like a cat trying to get rid of a fur ball.
Hi Joan, well, it turned out to be kennel cough. Cooper does cough from time to time, the same as we do to, I assume, but this time it was very frequent and some secretion was too at the end of each attack. Not cool. Thank you for your comment.
Hahaha my vizsla always bites me
:) You mean when you play?
I have a question ... I‘m thinking about buying a viszla at some point. I heard they are very affectionate and want to please their owner. They are also very sporty, which would also suit me (like to be outside and ride my bike). Is their hunting instinct very strong, so that it is more difficult to train them?
Hello Linda! Oh it's so nice to learn you want to add an angel like this to your life. Regarding the hunting instinct, well, that's difficult to predict as every individual is unique and some can have stronger inclination to follow what their genes say... however, in our experience, and even though Cooper was a rescue from a hunter who had already taught him tough things about "the activity", with a lot of effort and time, he is able to control his need for chasing birds on our command. What we do, though, is we let them chase some, but only when we say so. It's taken a lot of perseverance, treats (which in his case, he's so affectionate that his payment is love). The key is teaching them a lot of different things too so he expands his mind and gives more importance to follow your command and strengthen his bong with you. You always have to be more important than any bird, ball or even food. A word of advice: make sure you socialize him with GOOD dogs very well at at young age, many people, places. This means a lot of time outside putting in his little head many positive experiences. Vizslas are super sensitive souls and tend to acquire fears easily. Please reach out at any moment if you feel you need to, I'm very happy to share all I've learnt from both my personal and professional experience. Happy dogging!
Not at all my dog was vegetarian n so kind . The way u train n I didn’t do much but he was super good
My parents bought a Vizsla when I was still living with them (2016. They knew I was going to move to a different city) and he's the sweetest little boy. To this day he always comes up to me to cuddle and as a pupper he'd always choose to sleep in my bed I haven't ever heard of the breed before we got one ourselves but I instantly fell in love. I'm probably going to have at least one Vizsla once I have the appropriate living space for a dog They're seriously the best. So loving and fun
Awww Lory, can't agree more with you 💜 All the best.

I just lost my Chucky last week, he developed a spinal condition that crippled him. He was in so much pain we had to have the Vet put down. I miss him so much. 😥
Oh, dear friend. There's not much to do to ease that pain, I unfortunately know... only time helps getting used to their absence, a bit only, though. But forgetting is something never happens. Although it does help when you think about their roles in your life and yours in theirs; these angels don't last the same as us because they're required to teach you something very valuable and then going to a better place than this one where they're always understood and free, and can watch over you. Please do reach out whenever you feel to. Our hearts and good energy go to you and your family. Bless you and the little angel.

Which medicine you had given to your dog plze reply
Hello. Nothing. Home-made food, not too cold or too hot. Mostly chicken and rice, which is very digestive, but also carrots, pumking, a bit of parsley, apple. Hope your dear one is OK...
@@cooperalexandergarcia7531 but my dog only have too much cough
@@cooperalexandergarcia7531 my dog was not eating anything only milk and water
In my dog's case it was kennel cough, but at the clinic I saw the same coughing being caused by some other pathologies. Some can be chronic and serious. You should take your doggie to the vet to rule out any of these. Kennel cough is pretty contagious but usually not fatal. Others can be very different. Thank you.
Mmmmmmhhhhh... milk is not a great idea, although if your dog is not intolerant it might be a source of protein, much needed. Try chicken soup. Dogs can't resist it if they can eat. Just plain, no salt, no seasonings, maybe a bit of carrot and some rice, make sure it's well cooked. Wait until it's at room temperature. Please keep me posted. All the best and a kiss to your pooch.
This is a lovely breed of dog that ticks a lot of the boxs as a k9 companion or family pet. Smart as in clever, short haired means no hairy stuff everywhere, nice size, not too big and not too small. I always loved Labradors but I have to say I do really like this breed. Someone in my area has one and it is a real head turner because of its perfect proportions, lovely colour and happy attitude. As I say it ticks all the box's. The best thing to come out of Hungary since Goulash.!
😊 It is a wonderful breed, indeed, not for all tastes, though, as it's so full of energy and also requires ti be kept indoors, due to their lack of under-woolly coat. But it is a very healthy breed, generally speaking, although some allergies have been reported. Back at home, they will be the most lovely cuddlers ever and since they're always cold, the appreciate very much human physical contact. Totally agree with you, best gift from Hungary to the world 😊
My Visla hates me
¿? You're joking, right? It's true they're a bit capricious sometimes but hatred is something no dog can experience. Come on, please tell me it was just kidding 😊
Cooper Alexander Garcia she growls at me all the time and it is weird
Cooper Alexander Garcia the dog growls at me whenever I walk in the room and whenever I try to stroke her She bites me and I never did anything to her
My female Vizsla is very special too. She growls if she feels her space is being invaded. She endured a difficult time when young. I've searched for help with ethologists, trainers and every man and his dog. I've been accumulating a certain amount of information, tips and strategies, I must say, as non of them actually helped. Every dog is different. It doesn't mean she doesn't love you. But so far, what has helped the most is not looking for her affection; we wait until she is in "good mood". Never push her. It's the very first time in my life I have a dog with this character, but she's so smart and learns so fast. She's very sensible too, I take this is one of the causes. I'd say, if you let me, give her her space and wait until she longs for your affection. She will eventually. The male has always been as sweet as sugar and can't stand being far from us. Has never growled at us. I guess they're entitled to they own personality; please do let me know if you wish to talk this thoroughly. I think I can help. There are other things we have done that have improved our relationship. All the best.
Agreed with title. Such a great dog! Cute, loyal, playful. Much love.

Hello there! In this case it was a kennel cough, which is highly contagious but the recovery rate is also very high too. You'll need to take measures also in order to speed up the recovery. However, I've seen some pooches coughing like this due a heart condition. A vet will give you a correct diagnose. All the best and please give a hug to your puppy from us elves :)
Cooper Alexander Garcia hi he stopped coughing,. He was only doing it one night,. I am so glad
hello Mr Jack, I'm so glad to learn these good news! Stay safe 💜
There are several components to reducing heartburn quickly . One place I discovered which successfully combines these is the Fergs Treatment Crusher (google it if you're interested) definately the most incredible blueprint i've heard of. Check out the incredible info .
sounds like Kennel cough
Hi Lavender, in fact it was that. It took a while for us to get the right diagnose from the vet, so yes, kennel cough. Thank you.
I agree. That honking cough is classic kennel cough
What was diagnosed?
Hi Arooj, the final one was kennel cough, and he responded perfectly to the treatment. But there were many thing we were told before that, like acid reflux, mega-oesophagus, tracheal collapse, allergies... it was very scary. He was not having a great time, as you can tell, and these misdiagnoses meant we gave him things never should. So be careful. All the best.
I have a few questions. Do you remember if he was ever gagging? Did he vomit after eating? I’m trying to figure out what the issue is with my dog. I brought him to the vet twice and this wasn’t diagnosed but I’m thinking he might have acid reflux. He looks like your dog but sometimes he gags when he is coughing like that. If I feed him a lot he might throw it up so I have to feed him small portions. I often can hear a gulping sound after he swallows water. Hope Cooper is doing better now. Any update?
Hello dear Andrew. Cooper was misdiagnosed with acid reflux and even with megaesophagus, which I suggest you ask your vet to check for and rule out. But I've seen a cough similar to this in other cases when I was doing my internship, like tracheal colapse. In Cooper's case, it turned out a simple kennel cough, which is a highly contagious but not so critic condition. I suggest you make all the possible enquiries to your vet and give all the information you can. If you feel your vet is underestimating your dog's condition or treating you like is not worth listening to you, then look for another opinion. They are the only ones who can legally diagnose, but there are several of them who shouldn't be working anymore. That's all I can tell you. I'm a bit sensitive with this topic, because when you're a dog owner, you put yourself in the hands of a "professional" who should have all possible regard for your dog's life and wellbeing. Unfortunately, is not always like this. Finding a really good vet is not an easy task. Good luck and please keep me posted. A kiss to your doggie from us. Bless you both.
