110 conibear box build.
Was in the mood today for some trapper arts and crafts, so I made my first Conibear 110 box.
Great fun!. Sized out at 7x7x12 long.
Took me about 30 mins to make as I had to figure it all out on the fly.
The editing is getting easier too!

No smoke or smells. and 20 mins was kinda perfect for my application. Beans need more beans!! Bean count is low I believe. Some mustard or more Tang is needed. More BACON! Too sweet for me. A quick look at my 4 current ponchos. It goes from the cheapest and the biggest to the smallest and the most$$ 3 out of 4 are Ripstop nylon and the last is 7oz sail cloth. The nylon ones are all ripstop and the lightest and the sail cloth weighs in at around 4lbs. All 4 create decent micro climates as wind blockers and by keeping you dry. No shame at all! And if someone else sees you while you’re , they’re also thrifting so it’s not like they’re going to look down on you. We were so poor growing up, we would dumpster dive at the thrift store. We found some cool stuff now and then. I was embarrassed about that but was never embarrassed about going in and buying things.
ABSOLUTELY!!. Great for work clothes. Great finds if you know what you are looking for?. And it can be fun kinda treasure hunt. Great comment and thanks for watching👍💯
i always weld in the shower while dinner is in the oven. It’s more efficient that way and i'm less likely to burn the house down.
Why do they call it taking a dump? When you're really leaving a dump??🤷🤷
Add some lights to your video. Can’t really see the colors that well
I'll work on it, thanks for the observation!
They made it in Magnacut. $325 Canadian. Which is like $25 American after exchange rates!? Just kidding! Lol But I am contemplating getting it just to add it to the collection. I'm afraid if I don't get it I'll just regret it later on, and I already have enough regrets as it is. Just bought a TBS Grizzly couple weeks ago. It's almost as thick As the Bk2 but not quite as big or thick as the Bk2, so it's actually functional. Scandi Grind. Cut very well. Very comfortable. Leather sheath and Chestnut Micarta handles. It can actually be carried and hung on the belt. So I think it's gonna be my main go to knife. But I gotta have the magnacut Bk82! Lol
Wow11 $325..NOT EVEN MAYBE!!! .....You might have a knife problem..LOL..The knife is Ok, the sheath is JUNK..You do you and thanks for the great comment!
Still waiting for the dam postal strike to end, bought mine just before hunting season. I thought.
UGH..Rough.. The weather is still pretty warm. but hopefully you get them before you really need them! GOOD LUCK!!
How much weight can this bag hold without the straps/stitches/seams breaking ? I'm looking for a one bag option. I'd like to even put a Bear Safe food barrel inside it as well. Tent. Tarp. Couple extra outfits. Bruk small Forest Axe. Canteen. Couple Nalgene Bottles. Most of my equipment is light weight. The Food is the Heaviest. 10 day trip or so.
I've had 60+ lbs in it MANY times.. I've thrown it around lots too. Nothing is coming apart, YET....So far, so good..It carries great for me..But I have it set up to carry high on my shoulders as that's where men carry weight best.. But it will screw with trying to Portage a canoe..FYI.. I don't like the price new right now.$$$$. I'd try to find a used one. But that has it's own caveats.. Great question and thanks for watching!
You cannot go wrong with USGI. Always have one in the small pack I keep in my truck.
1 Million percent!..Thanks for the great comment.
Looks delicious
It's good stuff for sure!💯👍
you're beautiful. does this distillery use Georgian Bay water, or well water or spring water in its product?
I am currently waiting on an answer from the Distillery. Great Question!

Yes they are!
Do the beans make you toote?

cooking in a can is literally melting plastic into your food. all cans have a plasric inner liner now.
UGH..Well thanks for the heads up!. Knowing is half the battle!
I hope not to meet you Rick Or Daryl out in the woods 😬😬😬
Just for that I hope you forget to pack TP on your next adventure.... ;)
lol "My inner raccoon was strong that day" 😆😄😅🤣😂
Well it was!🦝🦝
Have bin looking for poncho to keep in the atv 👍🏻
That's a great idea! If it's to stay dry or to shelter overnight after a mechanical failure. always be prepared!💯👍
Outstanding 😂 Home depot sells a clear RV roofing patch you can get trowel grade. It keeps flexible in winter. Also high temp caulking for fire places but it comes in black and red only. These help seal seams for lifetime use. I put the RV patch material on my canvas tents too.
Thanks!.
@@morganillsley94re read comment I edited it. Can you list where to find the ponchos you showed?
@@Recklooseranch LOL..You silly potato!.. 2 are in the description. I can't find the legit US GI ones ..and the sail cloth one will remain a mystery. 👍
Finally the 4 poncho comparison I’ve been waiting for!! ❤ from Canada
You need a poncho to go over the snow suit 😂
Why can't you use bottom straps to attach poncho/shelter? I use a sheepskin seatbelt pad on strap. Colemans sells 2 bread bags for $15. Last shoulder bag I got from them was a Romanian Army Battle Satchel. Haven't tried it out yet.
Hey!.. GREAT QUESTION!?!?!.. So I ran down stairs and found out.. The short answer is the Bottom straps are just TOO SHORT... I folded and rolled by poncho as small as I could and It just would not work. So there ya go, and I hope it helps.
Ignore all positive comments
That's crazy!
cool!!
tastes like butterscotch
See, I don't get that. Its all gone now, so we'll have to wait a while to compare notes. Thanks for watching!

Thanks!
Yeah, think even the "official" tinder quiks are Richmond Braided Cotton Rolls. Carry a couple on a keychain in some heatshrink tubing.
No doubt.. Then it's just all about everyone's SECRET RECIPE!.
soak them in rubbing alcohol to get them to be hotter and last longer.
But it will just evaporate. That's what rubbing alcohol does.. I'll probably do mix of paraffin wax, liquid paraffin and bees wax. My plugs. My formula!

Micro USB in 2024? AHAHA!!!
Yes indeed!
Hahah I was thinking the same thing about that infamous video.
LOL..I totally forgot about the intro on this one!!..LMAO!
How do you like this pack 5 years later? DO you still use it and if so is any good for hiking?
I use it SEVERAL times a year.. as at 120L it holds everything and the kitchen sink.. I really need something in the 60L range too...As for hiking.. I've used it on LOTS of portages. I have mine set up to carry high on my shoulders because that's where men carry weight best. The straps are huge and comfortable. Never used the waist belt. I still love it. I hope this helps!
@@morganillsley94 Never used the waist belt? I assume you don't have packed to heavy then? I'm just wondering how much weight this can carry without the straps breaking or material tearing at the top of the shoulder straps?
Summer dont love you though😂😂😂
Summer Loves you! You Brown skinned sugar pop!.. I Like, and I am white as the winter snow!
Im ashamed to admit... i know that guy😂
That works both ways there... It's a good thing you can cook!
He used that exact can opener on a can of coke
Yes, Yes I did and it was a can of condensed milk you wing wanger!
Can it be used to open a can of whop ass?
The USGI one is almost 3x the price
NO WAY you're likely to be attacked by a hippopotamus
FYI..I love our silly back and forth.. I would be so cool with Northern Hippo's.. Well with 4 legs..LOL!
THANKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm glad it helped. 100%
Nice finds
I though so too!. Thanks for watching!
We need more videos and less clothes
Don't yell at me!.. I'm delicate. ;)
if i need to shit in the woods and i go way off trail and away from a body of water or campsite, should i still dig a tiny shit hole, or does it not matter ?
Absolutely! Burry that thing and get as far off the trail as you can!. NO LANDMINES!!!
I’ve tried over 10 of these and none of them started without additional assistance.
Well.... I don't know what to tell you?.. Mine worked as described.. But as you'll see. I didn't even bother tying it to a piece of wood.. I Prepared the fire, then I Treated the thing like a grenade. Pulled the starter with some aggression and POW..FIRE!.. If I was you..I'd save all the duds and contact the manufacturer.. Thanks for watching.
You got some good finds there, buddy! 👍
They are out there.. Just like sexy Aliens.

You folks made an AMAZING product, and I can't wait to see what other incredible bottlings you guys come up with!🥃🥃 Thanks for watching.💯
I like the "loose" packing method. This seems more realistic to a used kit.
I threw it together a couple days before this adventure. PLUS. it's big enough you could totally change it up on the fly for the seasons or any special circumstances. Thanks for the great comment!
I've had to use one foot on the floating bog and one foot in a canoe for over an hour while on Devils Lake in the Queen Elizabeth wildlands. I met 2 pup wolves...who passed me and I was downwind. They were followed by a white mother wolf who was so majestic...all I could muster was to stand with my paddle raised...she sniffed me 3x and ran off...they were chasing a cow moose and calf I'd passed 3 hours prior. Where ended up camping was overlooking a circular lake with a circular pond...I got to seethe cow moose shot by hunters and as I paddled back to the boat launch at lunch...I followed the barge with the moose. Was an epic journey...my first camp out without a gun just a knife. Where you are reminds me of that time❤
That sounds like it was an AMAZING adventure!
FINALLY!!!.....someone has spare boot laces. I have had people pull faces and ask why i carry spare laces. Such an overlooked item but if a lace breaks that usually means the whole lace is weak. I change mine to 550 para cord and still have a another set just in case plus a set for my mates lol. Oh and yeah, i have had to give a mate a set lol. Got a carton of beer for that. Good to see you carry spares....cheers
I even keep spares in my lunchbox for work!.. Yeah.. Old army habit. .If you busted 1 in the field you knew you weren't getting it replaced anytime soon..So just carry spares, for you or a buddy. Thanks for watching and te great comment!
Great Video on a very overlooked carrying bag Messenger bag, satchel, musette ... by any name it's still great. It doesn't have to be full. You can use it as an EDC when your going shopping ... I have a sail repair sewing machine and the pattern for these is easy, and any size. You might want a look at the old market wallet too. Another simple but very effective carry bag.
I have never heard of a market wallet??. I will check it out. Thanks for watching and the great comment!
@@morganillsley94 You'll usually see it draped over someone's shoulder, but historically, they fit a horse's withers too.
Nice and simple!
Thanks!.
