FINALLY!!!.....someone has spare boot laces. I have had people pull faces and ask why i carry spare laces. Such an overlooked item but if a lace breaks that usually means the whole lace is weak. I change mine to 550 para cord and still have a another set just in case plus a set for my mates lol. Oh and yeah, i have had to give a mate a set lol. Got a carton of beer for that. Good to see you carry spares....cheers

I even keep spares in my lunchbox for work!.. Yeah.. Old army habit. .If you busted 1 in the field you knew you weren't getting it replaced anytime soon..So just carry spares, for you or a buddy. Thanks for watching and te great comment!

I like the "loose" packing method. This seems more realistic to a used kit.

I threw it together a couple days before this adventure. PLUS. it's big enough you could totally change it up on the fly for the seasons or any special circumstances. Thanks for the great comment!

Great Video on a very overlooked carrying bag
Messenger bag, satchel, musette ... by any name it's still great. It doesn't have to be full. You can use it as an EDC when your going shopping ... I have a sail repair sewing machine and the pattern for these is easy, and any size. You might want a look at the old market wallet too. Another simple but very effective carry bag.

@@morganillsley94 You'll usually see it draped over someone's shoulder, but historically, they fit a horse's withers too.
