Just experience this for the third time in 6 years. Couple taps with a screw driver handle on the relays and she works fine each time. By the way I only had to remove the three lower screws in back to access the board and relays.

Thank you sooooooo much! We tore the front of our dryer apart, fully cleaned out all the lint stuck in the bottom and in the hose and yet couldn't get the drum to stop spinning. I took the handle of a screwdriver and banged the upper right side of the dryer. Opened the door, closed it again and the drum stopped moving! It's now working again like it should. Thank you for this video and everyone who commented. You all saved us so much time and money! :)

FYI Shortcutters like me. After reading the comments I saw where someone discovered you could beat on the outside in the area of the relay and potentially solve it w/o ever opening it. (quite ingenious). Unfortunately, on the never model they moved the relays on top of the dryer. So beating on the upper side dies nothing. HOWEVER, once I opened the dryer up & then opened the plastic relay box on top, I smacked the relays one at a time til I hit the one that was stuck, and BINGO!!! Problem solved! Thx Dryer King Guy!!!

Omg you are a genius, we tried gently beating it nothing, we open the door grabbed a mallet and hit the right inside nothing. Took the mallet gave it a couple of wacks on the right side and top side and on the top where the control panel walls plugged it in and it works. Do be weak when hitting it. FYI at every interval we unplugged it and plugged it in . Do not do while plugged in. We did not take off any covers. Lg 403kwfn78619 is our model number!

These seats come apart very easy 3 bolts and the back rest comes off, then the 4 bolts holding the seat pan to the rails. You can buy aftermarket seat and back foam, and covering. The complete seat base in this video seems I'll fitting, and it's cover is installed with hog rings. The foam molded base is the most important part, if it's too soft, then you will be very unhappy, very quickly.

UPDATE: after about one week the dryer relay sticks again. It has done this twice. Does anyone have a permanent fix for this other than replacing the relay switch or always having to pull dryer out and hit the relay switch?

Thanks for the video and have to say that it worked. However I would like to improve your video. The relay is actually Not the round think that you hover your finger close by, it's on your right side of the pcb where black and blue connectors are. Desite the fact that it worked for me today this wasn't my 1st time dealing with this issue on my LG dryer. The 1st time it was enough just to unplug the power and wait. After some time 5-20min it worked fine. It happens again and again and eventually unplugging stopped to work. I found another workaround that did magic for free: Hard reset of the dryer- Unplug your dryer from the power, push &hold power button for 5 sec than release and push pause/stop button for 5 sec and it worked too...until today. Your workaround worked today but will be next time maybe in a week or a year, who knows...until I will have to replace the Main control board (pcb). For my model it's $250 that make me think whether it worth the investment into the old dryer even with DIY replacement... Also you didn't need to remove the front, it's irrelevant. Dissambly is important and it's different with my model DLGX3876W- it has additional part under the sliding cover. Thanks again!
