is it bad idea if travel alone there for the first time?
not a bad idea, but for lake kawaguchiko, given the no of tourist, even if you manage to get bus ticket from shinjuku/tokyo to kawaguchiko, you might not be able to get bus tickets back, and end up taking the long train ride back to tokyo. to get around kawaguchiko u will have to use the bus there

Mount Baldy just so happens to be the place where Lifei Huang went hiking during a severe rain storm and driving up Mount baldy road is dangerous. Mount Baldy road is a single lane road and has hairpin turns north of ice house canyon road. I wonder why Lifei Huang would even drive up Mount Baldy road during stormy weather if this road has hairpin turns in certain spots. Lifei Huang was not smart at all to drive up to Mount Baldy during the severe rain storm.
