His name is also badass
great soloing!
Warren, like all really great guitarists had an instantly recognizable "sound" and style? his solos and phrasing are awesome! easily one of the best along with George Lynch of that generation.
Him and Reb Beach were my absolute favorites from that era
intense slicing leads that are melodic at the same time. Thank you Warren for your dedication.
Super Cool
Warren is my favorite player of the decade. Just phenomenal and truly unique!
Now that’s a world class lead guitarist - incredible phrasing and intricacy
Legend
Thank U Warren for letting all your fans see U in the studios..... Love U & God bless......
👍
Been listening to this album the past week. So Good.
Best vibrato.
If Van Halen and Joe Perry had a baby, it would be Warren DeMartini.
Of all the 80 guitar players. I spent countless hours learning all of warrens solos when I was younger. His solos never sound safe. He cuts loose and it works and always compliments the song. He is one of the best
DeMartini sure can do magic on charvels lol pretty funny gets ya every time when ever ya mention him on the guitar scales this time in the studio
Sloppy
He transitions to a C# mixolydian to a C# minor pentatonic to get his "Warren" sound. Freaking brilliant! His phrasing makes him so unique. Probably one of the most underated guitarist to come out of the 80's.
It reminds me of Michael Schenker who often drops into Dorian mode. It wakes your ears up and sounds fresh.
His solos are instantly recognizable as being from him.
Yeah, cause they sucked so bad
Warren's style is so unique and very tricky sometimes to play with his phrasing. One of the all time greats.
No... He just sucked
@@SpikeMichaels He plays behind the beat, which gives the music a sense of forward motion. Really cool trick. Makes the song way more interesting.
Something about his phrasing is pure 80's magic.
Absolutely. His phrasing and soloing set him apart from other players.
If Van Halen and Joe Perry had a baby, it would be Warren DeMartini.
@@latkagravas9011 slash already has that coined.
@@orgasmicdaveslash is Miles behind Warren . Not even close
King of the concise solo. Vai, Satriani, DeMartini all have the prose.
Just fluid and not a bunch of jacking off and fx. Always the top of my top 5. Warren is the guy that could plug his guitar straight into an amp and tear shit up. Lynch never had the flow that Warren has. Still love George tho!
Bla bla bla He sucked ! Spare us
@@jaylynn3346 weirdo
amazing
this guy is fucking awesome.... as simple as that...
His style, his sound, the more i listen to it and more i discover something extraordinary in his playng ...War in D rocks !!!!
George Lynch and Warren DeMartini were rommates back in the 80s... Would have been cool to be their neighbors.
It was Jake E Lee and Warren....not George
I just hope he's stillaround after yaknowwatt
FLAWLESS LICKS !!!!
Warren and Lynch are two of my favorite shredders, starting back in the 80s. Check out a recent shredder on RUclips channel BenHigginsOfficial. He covers solos from a variety of shredders and does so rather well.
What is the song title, please ?
lost weekend
couldn't agree more, same with people comparing dokken to shit hair bands, lynch is a hell of an axeslinger, good jam warren. your an inspiration
Warren-great guitar player!!!
Yeah just like Vito Bratta and many hair metal/glam guitarists. They are terribly underrated.
no way Slob - they are at least evens...Warren took the more bluesy route to get there though
Warren DeMartini = George Lynch's understudy.
check "Catch Your Train" by early Scorpions @0:22 and compare with Warren's lick from 0:51
He got plenty of credit. He did well for himself. Remember, there were many great guitarists in the 80s. He was always on everyone's lests as one of the top 10. Yeah, very very unique player tho. Very distinctive style. Resembles Lynch somewhat. But both share a common history together. So sure they influenced one another.
Ratt had soooo many good songs and their performances were great. They did cash in on it for a short time but should have big longer. But the industry put a stop to the momentum by pushing Grunge. Alot of great bands suffered from that garbage.
Titanium bridges from Floyd Rose upgrades? Hugely talented player....
Warren shreds!
This was the best song on infestation
I agree man, Warren had a great vibrato, great at legato, and his choice of notes were very pleasing to the ear.. His leads were always beautiful and melodic mixed in with his great vibrato ,tone and phrasing.. but like I said his choice of notes really made his solos nice to listen too.. He didn't get enough credit.. I often wondered why.. It sure wasn't because of his playing..
I agree, Warren was awesome. I think he did not get much credit because there were simply better shredders who mastered every possible way how to play guitar unlike Warren who had just his excellent timing and legato but his picking hand was really sloppy.
Yeah Warren sucked, let's just be honest.
Check my video if you like nasty guitar solos!
The gist of all of Warren's solos are so melodic and fierce with a perception of face-melting. : o
Warren vs Lynch..who cares - love it
massa tambem so Demartini e curto um bom som
Warren has a lot of Michael Schenker influence...right from the begining of a solo he is so characteristic that you know is him playing
When do you not hear guitar solos on FM radio anymore - anything is a treat. That said...this is bluesy, rough and nasty clip
Damn amazing, Whats the name of the song?
