Thanks for visiting our channel. Come along as we enjoy and explore the wilderness. During the spring we will be hitting the water for fish, in the summer we will be setting and checking trail cameras, come fall we will be hunting for small/big game, and in the winter we will be targeting waterfowl.

When deer rifle is about to open in a few days, we took the opportunity to scout for some potential bucks. With high hopes going into the season, we were able to find some blacktail deer a few days into the season.

Is this an Oregon? I’ve gone twice now in the White River unit by rock Creek oh and then this last weekend around the fall river area in Deschutes national Forest so far nothing 😢
We’ve always called those berries Black Caps. They grow in clear cuts and disturbed areas, and are bear magnets. Usually ripe in July and early august. Also make a great snack and excellent jam Nice work killing a buck in that dry open terrain.
