FLEETWOOD MAC reunite for the first time (sans Christine McVie) to record their first studio album in over fifteen years. Follow them as they write and record their album Say You Will from the first day Stevie Nicks walks into the studio to the opening night of their tour. 13. September 2024 . ❤
Thiß documentary just shows how difficult iris to get a record out.
For their relationship to work in a marriage, Stevie would have needed to allow Lindsay to be the head of their family, the leader, but her ego got in the way. She actually probably wanted or still wants that deep down, and that’s where her songs come from. She always just wanted to make him happy, but they both made many wrong choices along the way. Mistakes aside, Lindsey would give her his world if she let him, “in an instant”.
Stevie helped make Fleetwood Mac. Stevie helped ruin Fleetwood Mac by kicking Lindsey out of the band over ego.
❤
They are such fine people. God bless them!
I suspect that StevieN is an eternal ahole that thrives on being a crushing bore about everything....
Didnt Mike Campbell from Tom Petty Heartbreakers write most of those songs for Stevie?
He is still in love with her & still angry she doesn't want to be with him. Allegedly, she won't tolerate his physical abuse & left him because of it in 1976
There is no truth to your statement. Stevie is quoted as saying, that up until 1987, she had never dealt with violence. She admittedly perpetuated that scuffle. Meaning, she attacked him first. The throwing of the guitar and kicking was an isolated incident that occurred years prior. In other words, it was not normal for Lindsey to be violent towards her.
It's easy to see why Stevie didn't want to work with him in the studio again after this experience with him that was the same crap that he has always done
Allegedly, no record company wanted his solo album, and wouldn't sign Fleetwood Mac without Stevie. No one wanted double CD except for Lindsey...
All of her solo songs too?
Was lindsey the invisible, little, little man writing her songs for her solo albums? She just didn't know he was there...
What I meant to say is, Lindsey wrote all of her solo songs too when she did not have anything to do with him??
I wish all those Swifties would get all the Fleetwood Mac refferenced in TTPD and how “Silver Springs” and the Nicks/Buckingham relationship is the mirror to her Relationship with Healy.
Stevie and Lindsay what a trip! No love lost for them 2? Maybe they were soulmates? To be continued I guess ? ❤❤😂😊
Loved it! Didn't want it to end. It was great seeing all of their dynamic together. No disrespect to his wife and family; I wholeheartedly respect marriage. That said, Lindsay and Stevie are absolutely gorgeous together. It is what it is. Stevie, girl, you should've had at least one baby for him 😛💖.
Oh just one more thing. Ever since Lyndsey wrote " Go your own way" n Mac didn't allow her " Silver Springs " on the Rumors Album. I Honestly feel Stevie believed Lyndsey put that in motion. So she seems to have not stopped writing Songs directly towards Lyndsey. U heared the lyrics in Silver Springs.. " Time has cast ah SPELL on you. I'll follow you down till the sound of my voice will haunt you. You'll never get away from the sound of the women that Loves you" She put Magic on those lyrics. Cast ah SPELL on Lyndsey. Dig it???
U know what's ah Huge difference between our Music ( R&B/SOUL) n Rock/Pop n... just Playing Instruments. We as African Americans r ABSOLUTELY not on REAL MUSIC n Playing Instruments anymore. It's ALL DISRESPECTFUL RAP!!!!! Which is a DAMN SHAME!
Stevie Nicks is still low-key reaching out to Lyndsey, u can hear it in that demo they played for The dude from Warner...who hears it??? I DO ...!
Agreed. She's had other loves, but Lyndsey is it for her. They were so much to each other. You can see it in her face when she sings the last song. There's no way they didn't hook-up over the years, or at least at some significant point. That obvious attraction between them, that they've learned how to downplay, wouldn't still be there if they hadn't.
Lindsey is so full of himself. And there are LOTS of guitarist better than him.😂
Its obvious: too much talking business and not much fun in creating something... never a good thing..the songwriting is just not mediocre here.
Singing with auntie Stevie lucky kids
Some people are fated to be together.
Lindsey turned all of Stevie’s odd poems into hit songs 🙂
At 56:29 if I was Lindsey, I would of walked over to Stevie, told her that I loved her and gave her the longest loving kiss I could have given her
Don't be silly she dumped him and slept with everyone around the road crew even mick fleetwood thats why he didn't want to tour with them
He also cheated on her nd strangled her in a fight.
@@revelationsoundstudio she manipulated everyone and had him fired from Fleetwood Mac. With all the negativity they hed it together for creativity for a long time that's the most important thing. I think Stevie Nicks is a little crazy 🤣 The tusk documentary is good
@@theprogrammerrolandmc3039i think you are a lil crazy 😢
You dont seem to have a problem with linds and all the male rockers sleeping around. Also were you there when Stevie supposedly slept with everyone. How do you know? Pathetic...
This alumb got #3 on the US Billboard charts. I love the album with its richness in different styles and depth.
The original 5 poses the magic that is Fleetwood Mac, without the 5 it’s not the same.
The group is timeless. The documentary didn’t age as well. Feels frozen in odd, old editing
15:35 - i said this to my boss the other day when he called me the other day when I was running late for work. The bad news is that he wasn't happy. The good news? I don't have to show up Monday morning. Three day weekend.
I think Lindsey has been painted to be the bad guy over the years, but after watching this it's clear he's actually the sensible one
John is so funny lol
Who is the Brunette?
The way Lindsay tried to lecture Stevie about changing from past to present tense in song lyrics made my jaw drop. He seems to think that his unwillingness to compromise, not just about the double-record but in any argument he has with anyone, makes him a more dedicated artist than the rest of the band...I just see arrogance and an inability to listen. God bless Stevie, an artistic genius and an angel.
Oh what drivel..
😐
@@santacruz7455totally agree, lindsey sychophants think he is a genius cause he is always pompous and arrogant. Does not make him right and he is just disrespectful towards Stevie. What an aaaasssshhhh
@@SimplyBeingTTdrivel ... you sound like stuck up linds... 😮
It was a dumb idea trying to do a come back with only 4 members to begin with, wanting it to be a double album was an even dumber idea, Lindsay is my favourite member of Fleetwood Mac but I get the impression hes is a pain in the ass and the root of the band's disfunction, he's basically having a tanyrum and holding the band to ransom, all these issues Lindsay is creating should have been ironed out before they started.
I miss Christine’s mellow voice in World Turning. I still luv the group although I wonder if anyone can get into this album if you don’t already know their unique sound?
Say You Will is a great album!!
Very impressive documentary about the trials and tribulations of making a great album. BTW,it's good to hear Johnny Mac speak .

Mick makes the sign of the cross as he comes out?
@katejackson4281 I agree. This album is underappreciated. It is a shame though that Christine was missing on this one, and Stevie was missing on the Buckingham/McVie one. It's hard to accept Tango in the Night from 1987 was the last studio album that all 3 were all involved with. Say You Will should have been bigger though as you say released at the wrong time I think.
over or under 3.4 million butts smoked by John McVie?
The fact that Lindsey has to explain anything to the drummer just bc he was there "first" is exactly why "copyright" laws have suffocated the art out of this Country.
LOL - at least this exposes them as the overrated group of mediocres that they are. Who can listen to Stevie's voice without wincing?
that section of goodbye baby at 55:03 was way better than the one on the album
Jesus, watching the more tense scenes of this film, makes me realize, that I really wouldn't have wanted to see a REAL fight between Stevie and Lindsey, when they were younger.
Not sure , but i’m beginning to think everthing isn’t Lindsey’s fault ( the brake up)
Yup. We forget there’s always two in a relationship. We only hear what they want us to hear. They show us how they really feel about each other on their 97’ tour, when Lindsey found out his gf was pregnant. They were both very emotional during that tour. So sad for them..wish they could have worked it out, beautiful couple.
WHY DOES THIS DOCUMENTARY LOOK LIKE ITS ABOUT TO BE “PARANORMAL ACTIVITY"
LOL yes. There were some really good moments and they get a pass bc docs and reality tv was new, but they should have added more music
In the 1970s this band was at top of the list of Rock bands. I loved the song “Don’t Stop”. It’s Good to see this band reunited. What is ironic, is their sound today would be considered “New Country” by this generation instead of a Hard Rock. Nevertheless❤ they touched the nerve of their generation.
Fleetwood Mac, no destiny without Crisstine.
I love that resonater guitar!
Lindsey, ever the diplomat with record executives.....
Stevie waltzing in with her spirit stick and no one really batting an eye is such a mood. 💕 I love her so much.
