I cannot get into this food. Alive in water or wriggling on a plate...just gross. Most people call them "sea penises," and I think it's fitting. I ate this at a restaurant in Yang Yang, but you can find it all over Korea.
FYI: These are not several "living" fish. They are chopped up pieces of a tube shaped fish.

This restaurant was so incredibly beautiful and the food was delicious. It's high in the mountains in Namyangju, Gyeonggi-do. Definitely worth the trip!

산낙지. I tried this for the first time at a restaurant in Nowon-gu. It was EXTREMELY hard to chew.

One of my favorite things about Asia. Who wouldn't love this? Taken at a restaurant in Japan. Each dish is color coded based on price. When you're finished eating someone comes to add up the price of your plates.
