Hey gorgeous! Now I see where you inherited those beautiful brown eyes! You sharing your daddy stories made me smile. My daddy issues start with my momma marrying my stepdad when I was 6 months, raising me as his child, telling my biological dad that I wasn’t his child, moving to another state 8 hours away, only for my bio dad to snatch me from grandmommas house when we came home for spring break when I was 6!! Yes, I kinda kidnapped by momma and by dad! Chile so much drama! But, I loved them both…. So so much! Thanks for sharing and giving us a safe place to share as well!

Hey Sis! I had to come back to finish watching and comment. Love Jones is one of my favorite too! As I was logging off I noticed a comment that showed up. And not to give that person any shine, but I was talking to my husband about it. I do not understand why people are coming for you, for just being your authentic self. Sharing your truth. I needed time to think about this. I woke up this morning with some clarity. I believe your honesty may be triggering for those who have not yet dealt with their own trauma. Some would rather forget. And it's easier to lash out at you. I love that rather than shy away, you go deeper. Some may think it's too much...But anyway, you brought back a lot of memories. I never saw my mom and dad in a relationship, but I was definitely a daddy's girl. My grandmother raised me, but he always came by to see me. I even stayed a summer with him and my sister's mother one year. He was in a band in the 70's. I remember going to some practices with him and grew up wondering why I didn't inherit his voice. (I got his nose instead) 😆He can sang. He came to visit me when I lived in Atlanta (with his family). But last year for his 67th birthday, he came alone. It was his first time on a plane and his first time in Florida. I was able to take him to the beach for his first time. We were able to camp and fish together. I felt like a little girl all over again. It also gave me the opportunity to let go of some questions I had about the past. All that mattered was the effort he had made to come visit. I love you Sis. Keep doing your thing. ❤

All you had to say was Shyrans Showcase, you brought me back with Hamilton iykyk didn't go but I went to the Camp lol 😂 we have done well for ourselves, Chloe ❤ Pretty lady rest in your feminity, I have so many dresses and cute heels, I can honestly say I am treated so much different from when I show up in jeans, sweats, etc. I am offered things and my friends are like "how?" I listen, compliment, and ask for help until its on auto pilot. Dinners, vacays, gifts opened doors, grass cut, all the acts of service are provided. Ive had a few toads lol but men universally know its certain things I dont do...cut grass, take out trash, pump gas, open doors, plan most dates, etc. I laugh at the notion and gently motivate him to do it or I'm gone. 😂

OMG, I've always had a hard time w/remebering WHY a person and I fell out but I do remember THAT we fell out. I just don't hold that in my spirit either. That doesn't mean I fool with that person but I don't feel tight about it. For the most part, men really don't understand our need to feel safe! One who does or did will forever stand out. Chloe this was such an awesome subject! This is Ms. Turks and Caicos and hunni growing up in the 70s in Miami being raised by my step father brought back so many memories. My daddy issue was my biological dad leaving me at 3yo to move to Georgia because he was a heroine addict. I never saw him again but my bonus dad cut the grass, taught me how to be a lady and how to be respectful and to respect myself. I also had a pink jiffy you couldn't tell me nothing 😂😂😂.
