Fuck you the video is wrong
Does the lattes taste like ones you get in a coffee shop?
You should insert the filter basket first, before putting in the rubber cleaning disk. Even in your video, there is no seal, and water just makes a mess.
This incorrect! There needs to be a one cop insert into the filter before added the cleaning plate and tablet.
This is what everyone should know! I’m more curious how to change filters? Thanks for sharing the Sulutions!
This is a video about the automated cleaning cycles, however it does not cover cleaning the brewing unit or inside of the machine.
How do i use the perfect clean tabs? I know they go in the top of the machine in the small opening, but which button/cleaning option do I select when using the perfect clean tabs?
"I forgot oh" 💀💀
You got your water volume wrong for the ratio!! 1:16.5 - 38g coffee = 627mls water!!
The source information for this video was obtained from Moccamaster Directly
@@redbercoffeeroasters The information is correct but you had it filled up to the top when it should've been half full. You put twice as much water in it as you should have
Thanks I have used this video twice now to help me make a coffee 😊😅😂.
Does the lid have a silicone rubber smell?
The lid does not smell, we would recommend washing the lid regularly to prevent dirt build up.
That's some damn clumpy coffee ground! I never had that much clumps using the Touch's grinder before. Jeez.
What is the instrumental in the background? Sounds incredible!
It is Squirm Worm by TrackTribe
Great Video, thanks!
Thank you
We have one of these. How do we adjust the settings so that it does not do a clean after every single cup? We use it commercially and it is slowing service.
You'll need to access the cleaning program, to do this you'll need to: Press the button "menu/ok" for at least 2 seconds, so that the display in the menu changes. Choose the point "maintenance". Now you can choose between the various program's for descaling or cleaning. Click 'Cleaning' there should be a menu enabling you to control the cleaning cycle.
This doesn't appear to make large latte's or Cappuccino's. Am I wrong. Would the Sage Barista Express not be a machine for this.
You can make these drinks with the Sage Barista Express
You asked for a double and the volume you got was far too little so suggests your grind is too fine.
A few big mistakes…. Not cleaning you’re piston. Not firmly pressing the coffee when you’re holding the piston on the table. In you’re hand it’s impossible to use enough pressure. Stopped watching after that. Probably made some more mistakes. Can’t trust your judgement anymore
I have a problem with my espresso machine. when I start brewing coffee, water flows simultaneously from the tap and through the portafilter
Those are great tips. You probably should work on the techniques to brew your coffee for the best espresso. Also there are inner burr settings that can really perfect the coffee
Thank you for your input! We will be releasing some updated content in the next few months, so make sure to subscribe! 📩✨
PLEASE make a video on best settings for each drink PLEASE
I just got the Barista touch but I can't get it to work properly. I ruined a whole bag of beans already. I want to make a latte. What is the grind setting you use, there are 30 of them and how many seconds for a double shot for latte? I saw in your video grind level was 4 and you put if for 15 seconds? Is it a double shot espresso? What cup did you use in your porterfilter?
Did you solve your problem?
@@Amirov989 No I can't seem to get the right grind setting. There are 30 of them and the time to brew. I asked my favourite barista at the coffee shop to come to my place and help me out. Also there are some master classes offered by Sage which I registered for by each time the tutor cancelled. I need help. I bought this machine just to make a Mocha :''''(
Do i need to descale if im using water filter?
You will but according to a manual I got with mine machine which is the melitta latticia ot you will only need do it once a year I assume it will be the same across all there bean to cup machines as they all use same filter
Is the café crema a standard option?
Easy n quick to watch will make my 1 st coffee in a morning seems easy to operate too 🙏
Awesome to hear! ☕️ The Melitta EPOS is made for easy and quick use, perfect for those morning routines. Make sure to subscribe for more coffee content and updates! 📩✨
Omg you don't have a clue! Everything thing you did is wrong
3:25 I almost got a heart attack I thought you were about to grind coffee into the wet portafilter
Bruh, a Coffee Channel thats showing wrong cleaning... The Tablets are for backflushing the grouphead. There should not be water dripping out. Leave the Portafilter in, then put the disc and the tablet. Also descaling with the water filter is crap. You destroy the filter and it will taste of descaler. Take it out, then descale. Please, please remove this.
The machine should've said that to remove water filter and to use single shot bascet, I had to figure that out myself.
It literally said remove water filter
@@JanBongoO in this case yes, but not on my model for me, I have touch impress and it not mentions anything like this
@@edythereal did not know, well, my said it ^^ enjoy your coffee buddy ;)
Best example of what NOT to do. Geez
Can I just say, better to use a white small cup so people can see the flow of coffee!!!
Another small complaint. For a large coffee, you can't grind enough coffee automatically as it will over-fill the hopper. So you have to grind part, tamp it down and manually grind more. Not a big deal. The pre-set frothing of the milk I've found, means that the temperature can't be set higher than 75 degrees. I believe this is to make sure you don't loose the froth when the temperature reaches near boiling point. You can increase the froth by just starting it again manually and stopping it again before it gets too hot.
You video does not explain anything
Filtreyi çıkartman gerekiyor gereksiz video olmuş
I am so frustrated with mine machine, taking the brewing unit out is a nightmare, and trying to put it back is is even worse, this time no matter what I do I can’t get it to go back into place.
You must be doing wrong then because its very easy to do. Maybe read the instruction manual
No matter what I do, I'm never able to get to pre-infuse for longer than 6 seconds. Can I ask on what number your burr setting is?
It's different for different coffee beans and don't forget about the outside and inside burr you can adjust to fine tune coffee
I got a question: I manually adjusted the grinder to 13 with the outer dial, also showing that number on the touchscreen panel. The thing is, when I turn the machine off and then turn it on later on, the touchscreen signals the grinder is at 14. Does it do that automatically or is it some kind of mistake? As I reckon the grinder adjustment is only manual with the outer dial?
what is the song?
Clean your tools man. This is sad.
We bought one of these recently. Very impressed with the performance. But I've one major criticism. The size of the bean hopper. If it's completely empty it will just about take a 227grm packet of beans, but you have to smooth them down to clear the central locking tool or the lid won't go on. It's easy for beans to spill over the lip. It would have been better to have a slightly bigger capacity, so you wouldn't have to fill it half way through grinding coffee.
You can buy hopper extenders online :)
How long is sufficient extraction time?
How long is sufficient extraction time?🥰
Redber is my local roastery, thanks guys!
I saw so many newbie mistakes in the first 2 minutes I had to stop watching. Didn’t heat the portafilter or run water through it and clean the filter before grinding the next shot, left stray grinds on the rim before locking in the portafilter, you never tamp mid air. Smh
Have you recovered? The world is worried about you.
@@JB12132 well, the creators are claiming (based on the title of the video) to show how to use this machine and they are, in fact, showing you several extreme blunders. I honestly thought it was a joke at first, myself. Not cleaning out the old grounds from the portafilter and leaving grounds on the lip of the basket where it seals to the group head were two extreme examples of what not to do.
@@JB12132it's a valid point to make sure to not make the same mistakes. I would say I stopped watching but it's good to note so the creator can work on the technique
Dude literally heated the filter at 2:56
Does the machine need to be on all of the time? Like if I wake up, can I quickly make a coffee after turning it on or doesn’t it take a while to heat up
I believe the machine is ready to go in 3 seconds after being turned on based on their marketing materials.
Limescale and descaling (which I understand is a necessity in the south of England and other, similarly awful parts of the world) is just another reason I thank my lucky stars I was born a Yorkshireman.
???????
😂😂😂😂😂😂 Scotsmen here loving the boasting about water quality..my sons have started and they are 8
Love Yorkshire but the only downside are the crass, rude, boring, boorish, loudmouth Yorkshire folk. Shame because the landscape is stunning.
@@darwinsfish It’s good that you don’t let it make you bitter though. 😂
Touch screen seem quite laggy for that price
Just what I need to know for my new machine the first one thanks
Wrong you have to put a portafilter before the rubber then tab.
